Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! CZcams's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we'll take an up close and personal, in depth look at my 1995 Buick Riviera. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of CZcams!

The finest CZcams presentation of a vehicle I have ever seen. I am the original owner of a 1995 Buick Riviera (White) Supercharged. I have 95,000 miles on the Riv. I consider the car a work of art. Not many were produced and sadly young men are getting their hands on the 95-99 Rivs and converting them into racing machines. I'm glad to see you appreciate the car and its history. Thank You !

I agree, the Riviera is a future classic design. I have a 97 supercharged Riviera with 98,000 miles. No real issues, very reliable. Average 35 mpg on highway with premium fuel. Plenty of power-I never need more than 2500 rpm for acceleration. (I notice he was flooring it from a standing start, probably showing off for the video). I never had to pull 5000 rpm. Passing on highway is easy, you can quickly go way past the speed limit. Agree, very quiet, no wind noise, great all around visibility, excellent seating design. The low profile battery is expensive to replace, at least 2x over the standard.

@@dirtyred9376 I wouldnt say that, most people I know love this body style in the video the most out of all the rivieras becuase of its somewhat futuristic design, nice ride, comfortable interior, and smooth supercharged power delivery.

My grandfather has a 1996 Supercharged one. He loves it and so do I. It is very nice and relaxing to ride in, but when you need to get somewhere quick, the car can handle it well. It is a beautiful car and compared to other 90's cars, this looks like a concept car.

My first car was a 98 lesabre. It was dark blue had the biggest and most comfortable backseat of any car I’ve sat in even had more leg room than my grandparents crown Vic. Blue leather seat, super smooth ride quality. It had 210k miles and the 3.8 still purred. I was always easy on the throttle because you hit rod then around like a race car and they won’t last long.
I wanted to take that car to 300k unfortunately it got wrecked about 3 months ago. Wasn’t my fault. But I ultimately decided to get another lesabre and it’s a beauty. This one only has 98k miles, almost perfect light green paint, and everything I wanted to do to the 98 I’ve already done to the 97 because it broke down due to coolant leaks and luckily I already had the parts. I’ve done a tune up, it has an aluminum intake, new hoses, all new gaskets except for the oil pan, transmission filter, etc. It was only about $300 worth of parts off eBay. It took about 10 days but after it was finished it runs so good.
After my wreck being without my car for a month and a half sucked. If it ever happens again I want to have a second car. I’m thinking of one of these as a possibility

Great test drive. I had a '94 Olds 98 w/ the same engine (3800 supercharged) and the engine was smooth and the power came on steady and strong and smooth with no vibration that I ever felt. A couple of small issues with the Olds that I see in the Riv: the climate control vents are down too low, so the A/C had problems cooling the top part of the car, and, I believe the temperature control has no stops between 60 and 65 degrees, making it too hot or cold often.

    Great car Kyle!
My mom has a 1990 Riviera, 22 years and 320,000 miles later, the car still runs strong. Only thing she's had to replace has been the Alternator, and regular maintenance. Original Engine, and transmission still. Who said American cars weren't built to last?
She also has an 03 Monte Carlo SS. Decided to stick with the 3800 series engine. Hopefully it will last as long as the Buick.

Jeez Kyle you and I have almost identical tastes. This is one of my favorite cars from the 90's -- I know some won't like it but it sill looks great and will look great for a long, long time. One of the few future classics from the era. Unbelievable condition as well --- congratulations.

Beautiful car. That thing could last you decades. I remember when these came out in 95 I was in my 20's and loved them. Old Buicks are a bargain and a half.

This is one car Buick ought to bring back! I love the 1995-1999 Rivieras. The thing I like about it the most is the instrument panel. Those gauges are huge! At least, it went out with a bang in 1999. I heard, about ten years ago, that a rear-drive Buick sedan was coming, and I thought, "great, this is a good time for a Riviera revival!". It was not to be, sadly. Looks like we're stuck with a bunch of SUV's and a pair of sedans, and a convertible, in the Buick line for 2018. It's just not the same anymore.

Kyle I frickin' love this car man, great choice ! I especially love the gauges ! They're some of the best looking gauges I've ever seen. Don't mind the haters that can't appreciate a nice classic.

Fantastic video Kyle. I´m from Sweden and we don´t have a lot of American cars over here so as a car fanatic it´s very interesting to see cars like this. Keep up with the good work.

My lil bro was in the market to get a new personal luxury car. He went to practically to foreign, domestic. Test drove many. When he tried the Buick, he loved it. But, a 6 cyl was a turn off for him. He found out about the Olds Aurora for the ShortStar V8. He got used to the 2 additional rear doors. This design was very solid.

Hey Kyle, it's the first time i post something, and i want to say thanks you man! It's every time a great pleasure to see one of your videos. I remember few times ago when you do some test drive and tour videos at your family's dealership and "All City Auto Sales" and now this is so different ! You are filming like a true professional ! That's awesome, the new format of your videos is very great and very interesting, and the Riviera ... WOW she's so gorgeous .. Congrats from France Kyle.

Great review as always man! I used to own a 01 Regal LS. Wanted a GS SO BAD! Was looking at riviera's online and you're absolutely right about how people don't let these thing go unless they've been neglected and suffered a failure because of it. Think you could do another video on the Silver Arrow Editions?

I love how the front and back looks just like the 1997 Buick Century but smaller proportionately to the car. They widened it all out when they made the newer Century lol. Love this car though!

*Great* video Kyle, was looking forward to this for a long time. I myself discovered the Riviera in 2009 when I saw it parked at McDonald's with the senior citizens' early morning coffee crew there, and *wow*, what a fantastic car. I didn't even know they existed before. I am totally impressed with both the interior build quality and the attention to fine detail -- both things I am actually not seeing in many new cars. Accent lighting in 1995? Come *on*, that's plain awesome.
