I understand a good hustle but if you don't have or can't find time to even spend together.....that's just being together for convenience. I'm only 32 and I understand I don't know what it's like to be in that long of a relationship but I know for damn sure I wouldn't be with someone if it was that damn difficult to even find time to be TOGETHER.
It seems that they’re not doing enough to make time. If you love someone, you have to make time for the other half. And it’s reciprocal. Otherwise, like you perfectly said - is a business agreement with clauses and disclaimers

If they go on a date he really should make it something she would be interested in not just him. You men prioritize the things women or people you truly care for even if you are busy.

If money wasn't an issue I'd get tickets to the game and slowly ease him off the couch. It's also so much easier to get what you want if you're willing to do something you may not enjoy but the other person would.

I don't know much about football but I do know it doesn't run all year, so he could have been taking her out in the off season. She could have tactfully mentioned having date nights during that time frame. Seems like an easy fix, but people make it more complicated or they get too comfortable or complacent.

I’m 51 and I don’t like to call my guy my boyfriend I call him my significant other-only been together 11 months but dang let her call him that if she wants. People so quick to just crucify others once they get over 40 or 50 it’s ridiculous! Like damn she is still a woman and likes to enjoy things! Going to dinner or a concert or movie. There is a device called a DVR! My husband is an avid Basketball fan ! He works the night shift, he doesn’t miss a game because he records them! He doesn’t listen to the news or talk to anyone who can spoil the results! We still can go out to dinner ect when they rotate the weeks for date night her significant other can do the same, smh 🙄
