you see sometimes if you are in leadership it is difficult to be human. pastor should have asked GOD before doing what he did if his in intention was to get to know her
I believe this experienced (60+ years-old) saw a potential life partner in the woman. Experienced as he was, he wanted to probe her mind and attitude, but without exposing his thoughts. He therefore chose a relatively "safe" topic: her successes. He apparently didn't like what his probing revealed and was able to drop the whole thing without causing any friction. So: he didn't lose out because he wasn't direct. Quite the opposite. She lost out because she didn't meet his standards. I know the concept is novel, but mature men have their standards and lists of requirements. Physical beauty is usually very low down on those lists too. Women are generally too self-centered to acknowledge that they can possibly fail to meet a man's standards but that attitude doesn't change anything. Steve is doing a great disservice by not telling women that little-known fact of life.
Steve made very important points but then again it's some church members that not just hearing the word but a doing it so it's true also some are doing better than pastor ☺️

I would've been skeptical too. I just would think that he may have flirted with more than me at that church so I think I would've left it alone. You have to think, if things don't work out you have to see this Pastor every Sunday in Church and things will be uncomfortable. How does she know he's not a player? Look at Toni Braxton's father. Toni's mom Evelyn was a Pastor and Evelyn said he was sleeping with several women in the church and hell even married one of his mistresses.
