Alex, muchas gracias por tu mensaje. Estoy terminando el Zero. Desde el próximo mes me dedicaré exclusivamente al DVD tutorial. Ya tengo mucho material, pero tengo que agregar mucho más. Luego vendrá la edición. No puedo precisar la disponibilidad para el público porque dependerá de varios factores. De cualquier forma voy a anunciarlo a través de youtube y mi website.

The workmanship and attention to detail on display here is utterly staggering to the point I can't quite get my head around it. On one side of my brain - the logical side - I see this (and your other work) and can't comprehend how one man can conjure this magic in a single lifetime and yet, on the other side - the aesthetic side - my eyes present me with the proof. Simply put, in awe.
Thank you for your kind comment! It seems you love the F-86. In 1982 I built a Sabre in 1/12 scale that is currently on display at the Argentine Air Force Museum (it appears a few seconds in my video on the Ju87, Nieuport and PT-17).

Yes, I needed to add weight to the nose in both models. I put pieces of lead and steel, close to the nose landing gear.

My grandfather was a watchmaker as well as my uncles. As a very young child I remember him bent over his work with a table covered in very odd and small tools as he took the watch’s apart. Your work reminds me of the same thing accept on a whole level that is way beyond what they did. My cousin has my grandfathers 125 year old watch makers work bench and he uses it to fix watches from time to time.

No pensaba ni de lejos que una maquina pudiera realizar modelos con ese detalle y muchísimo menos hechos a mano. Hacía mucho tiempo que no me deslumbraba por un trabajo tan minucioso e increíble.

Sobre la decada del 80,un amigo mio tambien aeromodelista y maquetista, que se llamaba Aldo Berardi me llamo por telefono y me dijo,,Larga lo que estas haciendo y venite a mi casa,,Al llegar vi sobre la mesa un modelo SABRE F86 construido en alumino!!!!!.- Estaba para reparar el tren de aterrizaje.! No lo podia creerrrrrrrr!!!!!!! Yo que siempre construi mis modelos en carton y madera,queria llegar a casa y prenderle fuego a todos!!! Despues de averiguar y saber quien fue su constructor,debo confesarte que soy tu maximo admirador!!! Realmente un talento en su maximo exponente!!! Pude ver en museos la gran mayoria de trabajos,.Te sigo desde hace muchos años,y hoy por algun motivo me decide a escribirte,Vivo en Villa Pueyrredon ,lugar seguro que conoces!!! Hola Eduardo, gracias por tu mensaje. Aldo fue bastante conocido como piloto pero mucho más como aeromodelista. Aparte de Berardi (que era modelista de los que trabajaban construyendo con sus propias manos, por lo tanto ameritaba para restaurar modelos), ese Sabre fue "restaurado" varias veces por varios plasti-modelistas, que por lo general no saben construir en scratch. Increiblemente todos se llevaron el modelo a sus casas con la venia de la incompetente museóloga que se mantuvo en su puesto durante muchísimos años y los directores ocasionales. La buena excusa era que había que "repararle algo", pero de paso aprovechaban para hacerle una "autopsia modelística" (la última vez fue restaurado hace apenas dos años, y lo reparó como pudo un buen amigo que está en APO, dentro del museo). Lo mismo pasó con casi todos mis modelos en ese lugar; todos sufrieron roturas y otros "desaparecieron" para siempre. Una jodita ese museo.
Sí, conocí bastante Villa Pueyrredón en aquellos tiempos (ahora está totalmente cambiado el barrio según lo que ví en Google Maps; casi no pude reconocer la calle Artigas, llena de negocios y edificios!). Yo viví en la calle Cabezón a metros de la estación entre 1981 y 1984 en un edificio, en el 5 piso, con balcón a las vías. Como me fascinan los trenes, pasé ahí momentos inolvidables. En ese depto construí varios de los modelos que están en el Museo Naval.

Estimado amigo, debido a que trabajo constantemente bajo presión (para construir y entregar los modelos en el tiempo establecido con los clientes), es imposible que pueda dedicarme exclusivamente a mi viejo proyecto del DVD. Para remediar este problema estoy pensando que luego de que termine el Ju87, pueda editar un DVD alternativo, más sencillo y transitorio que incluya todas mi técnicas básicas. Saludos.

Gracias por el comentario, amigo. Sus preguntas son las mismas que me están haciendo desde hace 15 años muchísimos modelistas. No puedo contestar individualmente porque tendría que dejar de trabajar para eso (me llevaría varias semanas explicar todo, pues utilizo muchas técnicas). Para eso estoy trabajando en mi primer video tutorial (una aclaración; no uso casting; todo está hecho a mano).
