You were right when you said Revit is useless in extremely detailed drawings. Maybe that explains the defective buildings being built in the Revit era.

I've had a good long reflection about Revit, about how tedious it can be to use. It sort of robs you of your creative skill and forces you to compromise with it's inadequacy, wherever it becomes inadequate. I've decided to turn away from Revit and work more with drafting and CAD. I'm looking forward to improving my drafting skills, and using my hands to work with the tools. Do you have a drafting set?

@@DrawingTechnical I am the opposite. I am an Autocad veteran trying to transition into Revit for job opportunities. Money talks. Back in the day we used drafting tables and pens in architecture school in 1995. Autocad came in around the same time.

Oh there's no going away from Revit completely, I use it at my job. I am going backwards in time starting from Revit haha.

@@DrawingTechnical Revit tends to distract the focus away from the building to the tools used to create the building. The perfect tool will always serve the design first. The great architects of the past never had Autocad nor Revit and came up with timeless classics in terms of design.

@@michaelsonsarmiento5943 and the architects of today offload their ideas onto technicians who have to find a way of making Revit somewhat make what they've designed while brushing hidden issues under the rug.

If anyone wants, I can make a video showing you how to draw it with a pencil on paper.
You can get the 45° guideline to show by setting polar settings, will show in an upcoming video.

I watched some of videos about technical drawing they were great. You inspired to start my own business the only thing is I have a lot of trouble with the ties drawing so I was wondering if you can put up a video on how to draw ties because on January I will have a exam about this subject😊

Thanks, I'm glad to have bought some inspiration to someone :)
I just need more clarity on what you need exactly, I can look into it for you.

Hi, I was waiting for your clarification, on what exactly you wanted. Do you mean how to draw this on plans/sections? www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/317503842465844313/
Have a look on that link.

Hello. Do you mean you want me to make a video on hand drawing cavity wall ties? A cavity wall detail with wall ties in it? Or do mean draw it on NanoCAD?
