Watching this in preparation for running it myself, thanks for the videos
Right on. Good luck with your run! Gradient Descent is such a cool module. I hope you and your players have fun. Let us know how it goes!
Noriko sounds like the UFO skit from SNL where Cecily Strong was amazed at being taken by aliens.
Haha, I had to look this up. You're totally right, haha!
A great game. I'm a seasoned gamer (old guy) who learned DnD from the earliest editions. I don't play anymore but it's really fun to listen to a new generation doing adventures. Very entertaining, and I commend the DM for being entertaining and making good decisions with all the lollygagging. Haven't seen anything else from your channel yet, but I plan to , and I'm hoping this adventure is self contained her on YT or at least all the parts are findable.
Thank you! Really appreciate you giving our stuff a look and taking the time to drop a comment.
I'm a big fan of the Gradient Descent module. Fascinating mega dungeon. If you get a chance to grab it, I highly recommend it!
Great narration man. Super dope accents and acting. I wish I could have this skills hahaha but I can compensate with other techniques.
Thank you so much! That's one of the things I love about RPGs: different styles, different approaches, different skills. No two GMs, players, scenarios, are the same. Good times!
A delightful cast of characters, once again, and loved Reid’s flirting 😂
It's a fun crew for sure. Reid is... something else, haha. :)
This was totally engrossing. Excellent dming, presentation, rp, atmosphere etc. Subscribed
Thank you! Very much appreciated.
youre like me, with running a game every day lol
It's addictive!
my wife is Russian. That accent is spot on, but needs more blyats
Haha, excellent bit of advice. Next time they talk to Arkady, I'll try to weave in some blyats!
The players are working for a company that wants to grow up into Weyland Yutani. Most start ups want to be the piranhas of the market place but sometimes are the prey.
WY2.0 incoming. Every corporate villain has to crawl before they can walk!
@@AdventuresinLollygagging now all you need is Gregor the marmot, gene tweaked with cyber implants and a huge rocket launcher.
@@johntailby74 Sounds vaguely familiar, and more than a little terrifying, haha!
y'all aint about that self preservation, haha
Haha, not even a little bit!
5:11 Jeff to Melissa: "so is 5'9" tall or short? I know you're short cause you're like 5'4" so..."
13:48 Ashley: "so, Abbey is very short. She's like 5'4", she's a tiny little woman" (Jeff silently saying "oh god")
Melissa: 😶
Hehehe!
5'9 is pretty damn tall for a woman. It's about average for a male. I believe the average female height in the U.S. is about 5'4 or 5'5. But to call a 5'9 woman short? Way off.
@@Metal_Horror I know
If caught the blockade ship will disavow any knowledge of your actions.
Affirmative!
Nyce!
Yeah!!! Thanks for watching :)
Love it! Any chance we can get the playlist?
For the music? All of the music I play in the background of episodes comes from Tabletop Audio. The opening credits music is from T.I.D.N. soundcloud.com/t-i-d-n-music
From Tabletop Audio, some of the tracks I use:
Ancient Artifact, Dark Matter, Derelict Freighter, Generation Ship, Nostromo, Robot Scrapyard, Sanitarium, Aftermath, A Portal to Heaven, Cyberpunk Bar, and Biodome
That's in no particular order, and I can't guarantee that all of those were in this episode specifically, but I cycle through those pretty regularly. I highly recommend Tabletop Audio! I absolutely love their stuff.
This is great, thank you! Teamwork makes the dream work!
Corporal Reid is now infected with nanites?
Just the bright and positive energy of the Minotaur!
You need to get Jeremy on just to do the computer voice.
Jeremy hates us! He said he never wants to play with us again. He's a surprisingly awful person!
ASL == Age Sex Location. I am ooooooold
You and me both! haha
ASL = Advanced Squad Leader
Jeff, sorry to spam comments, but do you like, play npc accents/mannerisms beforehand? Keep some kind of chart/spreadsheet?
I usually put something in my notes if it's going to be a recurring NPC. For example, something like: "Fidgety, soft-spoken, suspicious of players." Or, "Deep southern, boisterous, friendly." Stuff like that. Other times I have to make it up on the fly, and I'll either take a note as we play, or I'll check the video of the last time we played to aim for consistency.
