Samruddhi House is designed on a compact plot located in a dense neighborhood keeping Vastu in mind. The design of this abode revolves around a courtyard that allows natural light and ventilation throughout the house.
The unique element of the house is the façade made with exposed brick jaali and concrete, with a circular corner opening in the corner that overlooks the main road, yet maintains the privacy of the residents.
Principal Architects Vishal Shah and Vishal Desai walk us through this house that nurtures the idea of a sustainable dwelling by responding to the climate and context.

Ab architect ko approach toh sab karna chahte h par unke cost bahat jada rehta h isiliye koi approach nhi karta.

One of the best in the buildofy series. The color schemes, the styling, the sheer elegance, look and feel, the furnishing, the divinity of the Pooja, the massive spacious rooms, above all the cute opening for the tree to grow in the front facade, all adds to the drama quotient and yet remains a very comfortable and stylish home. Lucky owners. They have chosen excellent architects and the building team and furniture guys have done a fab job too. Super like. What was the total cost involved inclusive of furniture and interiors for this project? Loved the veena in the study 😍😍

What a beautiful house!! Indian architects should take advantage of being Indian and incorporate vastushastra compliances whether or not the clients ask for it. Whether one believes in it or not, it only benefits the residents, so why not!
Actually, Indian architecture courses should include vastushastra in their curriculum (if it isn't already). Whether or not the architects follow the tradition is upto them in their business, but the basic knowledge need to be made available to the students.

Studioz17 ..are you into building design? If yes then your question is surprising .
Normally nowadays total built up area is the built-up on all floors including the built-up on ground floor.
