Seriously though, coming from an IB student everyone likes to bully poor CBSE. What do you think?
From which school you completed IBDP
Nopes....cbse too has intelligent and smart students...it's not like that...all depends on the child...and the way of teaching...and ib board too....I feel like is ..20percent same...as cbse ...
@@soumyaajmera9612 my boy is studying from IB.
@@NirmalSingh-vd1xu yaa so?
@@soumyaajmera9612 so much confusion 😞
I lived abroad and studied in IB up to 4th grade, when I came to India I got admitted to a cbse school and studied till class 12. While attending a cbse school I felt like I travelled back to the past. Our country's education system was a big shock for me!
My boy is studying in IB in Chandigarh. Is it better then CBSE
@@NirmalSingh-vd1xu what subjects your son studying in Chandigarh mam?

Finally moving from CBSE to IB. Ngl CBSE is the worst it’s a joke 😍 like wtf
ikr name a worse board than cbse
Is it important if I study in IB and not go abroad for further studies
@@hi-dd6gs CBSE is best💀
@@lordmahesh7501 That's because you are from cbse. IB curriculum is way more helpful for the future.
@@sammytv7747 yes. I learnt it the hard way. F the education system, I was so dependant on it that I was ready to defend it. Escape the matrix.
Humour!! 😂😂
IB is good to total development
Hey that's not true at all even cbse has intelligent students... If someone can't afford that that doesn't mean u can bully them..
Exactly! I think CBSE has much intelligent students jz bcz they dont have money doesnt mean they r dumb.....All IB students r not that good...If I have money I can also join IB...money matters thats all
Within India it is obvious that the smartest CBSE students will be much much smarter than the smartest IB students. They are the ones who bag medals in international olympiad without even making them their primary focus.
I mean consider the population of the students who study in these boards lol.
How to choose subjects in IB Diploma(Science)Please answer
you have to take 6 subjects, which consists of taking 3 HL (higher level) subjects and 3 SL (standard level subjects). You could also take 4 HLs and 2 SLs but at the end of the day it's compulsory to take 3 HLs. Plus, it’s compulsory to take Maths, a second lang, english, one science and one social science. the 6th subject could be a performing arts subject like visual arts or music or you could take either another science or social science. Unless you are doing med in India (which requires all 3 sciences) there is practically no way to take only sciences in IB.

Is ib is difficult for 9 th grade student
Yes
I plan to shift from icse to ib,after class 10?Is that a good idea, cuz I also plan to prepare for jee?I have heard for competitive exams, cbse is the best, but I really don't want that.
No don't do it. You won't get a good rank in JEE if you take the IB. Unles you want to apply to some college abroad don't. I'm an IB student. It's not very hard to get 75% in CBSE but to get the equivalent score in IB you'll have to work a lot more, spoil your mental health, loose sleep etc. Don't even think. I took the IB because I wanted to apply abroad.

Don't do it unless you want to apply to some university abroad. If you want to study here don't. What you study in eleventh and twelfth grade won't decide how good you'll be at whatever career you'll pursue in future. It has negligible impact.
Which is better A levels or IB
IB DIPLOMA
A levels
A levels are used as examination criterion by the GCSE, no point in doing it unless you wanna get into Cambridge tbh. IB is well ib, It instills a work ethic for studying and sharpens your ability to absorb knowledge. Id personally recommend the IBDP but depends on what you're aiming for.
Moving from CBSE to IB this weekend. ngl CBSE is good but IB is the best✨.
same
what is your fees?
How is it so far? I'm moving from cbse to IB this August
Bro what grade are you in?
profit = 10, 2 repay ka sikka de de
So much hype about IB... with cbse syllabus...all the indians have performed great world wide.. so before making fun think??
To be honest what you study in eleventh grade and twelfth grade hardly has any impact on your performance after that. People take IB so that they can apply undegraduate abroad. Otherwise there's no point in taking it. It requires way too much work. You have to write a 4000 word essay , a 1600 word essay and do some research for individual subjects along with studying the regular subjects. If you want to study here in India don't do it. You'll be jeopardizing your chances of getting into whatever college you want to go. But if you want to apply abroad, it's worth it because most countries are familiar with the curriculum and if you'll get a grade they'll know exactly what it means.
I really wanna shift my board from CBSE to IB but I'm gonna be in grade 12 this year . Do you think that's a good idea? I plan to study abroad
It really depends. Will you have to start all over again, from scratch? If so, are you okay with a one-year delay?
Many universities accept CBSE these days. They even have official requirements on their websites. So studying abroad shouldn't be too much of an issue if you know where you want to go. That way, you can check with the university (email them or call if need be) to make sure they'll accept CBSE.
IB is a different ballgame than CBSE. If you're just interested in getting admission, maybe you'll go with CBSE. If you want a more global education, IB is the way to go
I don't really think it will be a good idea I am commerce student (Cbse) so my opinions might be a bit biased. In commerce everything is intrarelated meaning concepts of accountancy can be used in maths and economics(not in class11,12th) but if you see things from a bigger perspective..Ik ib doesn't have commerce subjects so I believe if you take physics in IB you can't choose chem (I am not sure) but what if you happen to work in a field that requires both chem and physics.Ik IB promotes critical thinking but I believe if you are curious enough you will eventually find your way out.You can give AP's say English to convice that you can engage in critical writing.Apart from this,if you want to study abroad, cbse is relatively easy meaning that you can work on your projects that will improve your profile which an ib student might not have time for+Ib doesn't have much scope in INDIA.If you want to improve your profile you can engage in ecs outside school which will all do anyway
Especially in the times of covid you may have to stay back so ig? In a way it's not feasible
Don't do please.
@@user-ly4ut6xh7q It's not even worth it. Unless you plan to apply to some college abroad don't do it. It will spoil your mental health and your score will be lower and in India they don't understand the difficulty of it. It's not that hard to get 75% in CBSE. Good luck getting the equivalent score in IB without facing sleep deprivation for months.
