i've studied in ICSE school whole my life. We used to have Hindi Language and Hindi Literature, English Language, English Literature, History and Geography. I also think ICSE was equally wrote based learning. Whereas with CBSE its just English, Hindi, Social Science. It left so much breathing room for students during exams and was literally very less stressful

IGCSE is a course not an education board. IGCSE, covers grades 9&10, a -two- year course in CAIE. Cambridge Assessment of International Examination.

Well if you are doing ibdp,can u prepare for jee as well as abroad? All together after completing tok and stuff will i get time in ib schools curriculum to prepare for JEE cause it needs alot of time to , or i should stick to cbse/icse?
IB is for going abroad as that's what foreign colleges will have more weightage than doing CBSE or ICSE. If you want to do JEE or other stuff like it, go for icse or cbse
Thanks for the info. Much clear now aft watching ur video. But, If there is shift from CBSE to IGCSE then which grade is advised? Is middle school fine like grade 7? Also if the student is just above average in academics?
Some adjustment will be there, cbse is much much easier for those years, but after 1 year it'll be sorted out.
What should I do after 10th
How difficult will it be for a kid to adopt to Ib or IGCSE after completing 10th in CBSE? We are relocating abroad and do not have CBSE 11th grade option.

Still I have seen in my life that students from ICSE board have less knowledgeable than CBSE board students. They r just good in English that’s it. Most of them I meant .

Most of the schools has till Grade 5 or F5, but gradually they too will increase the classes till 12.. Or you can find other schools which comes after 5th in IB..

You are wrong about study pattern in cbse and icse. I taught there for more than 10 years and found study in cbse based on understanding case study and persuading student to think his own idea about anything.

It's not true in case of icse board , I have taught icse board students for maths ,, even 10th class maths book have topic of 11th and 12th class maths books of ncert ,, but most of icse school follow books of any perticular writer like Rs Aggarwal icse maths ,, and these books are not designed for understanding perpuse even ncert is much better than these books ...icse board students also focus on ratta ,, so it's only depends on how you are learning..ncert is designed very perfectly.
I want to know the cons in terms of eligibility. If a student studied IGCSE or IB, is the student eligible for JEE or NEET exams. Is the student eligible for IAS and other govt services etc? Like what all places IGSCE and IB are not eligible or very difficult.
Students who have studied IGCSE or IB are eligible to appear for JEE and NEET exams. However, they may need to convert their marks to CBSE or ICSE format to meet the eligibility criteria.

This conversion of marks from IGCSE to CBSE will help the student (provide him/her equal grounds) or will the student be on backfoot? i have heard that its not easy to score high in IGCSE but in CBSE one can score full marks, so conversion might downplay IGCSE student's eligibility?

Hello . I want my son to join IBboard from class six but don’t know whether it ll work for him or not . He is a hard working child and sticks to logic .

Also IB does not focus on grammar as such neither English or Hindi . And as you told IB kids have to go abroad only for further studies and I believe he should do his graduation in India only .
