- In today's video I explore the Lakeside Village, the brand new student housing complex at the University of Miami. The complex has a very modern design and besides featuring living spaces it has classrooms, an auditorium, a volleyball court, an outdoor gym, a rock climbing wall, an so many other cool things. Unfortunately because of COVID, since I don't live there, I was unable to go into an actual room, BUT I was able to explore around the dorms and see what they have to offer.

These dorms are fireeee. Probably so expensive too. But to be honest Miami, nor any other school should be having classes in person.
Danny as you were walking around early in the video I was thinking this has to be one of the most beautiful campus in the country. Lakeside is an unbelievable complex.

I think the rock pit is for the game bocci, Lake side looks so good hopefully we can get a video on the whole lakeside vibe with the bathrooms to the bedroom layouts once the covid situation calms down a bit.

Wow! UM is constantly expanding! It would be nice to go back and visit. I would go to the alumni reunion but with COVID-19 I don't know if they will have it. It's also interesting to see that UM seems to have a contract with Coke while FIU has a contract with Pepsi. The outdoor gym looks amazing. Lakeside has so many awesome features! The outside shower reminds me of the beach. LOL!!!

Just graduated in Spring and it was still fenced before I left. Damn this is pretty. The freshmen dorms were a whole another experience lol.

Hey Jim! This is next to Eaton! They were suppose to knock them down, but because of COVID they have left them to expand student housing. The Rat is still standing !

I don’t know if this is the appropriate place to ask this question but are there kitchens in any of the dorms/residential colleges? I haven’t seen any of them in the tours so far
They were not in Stanford (not sure about hecht), there is one communal kitchen each floor in Eaton (I think, and it's probably the same in Mahoney) and the Lakeside apartments have full kitchens while the suites have kitchenettes.
R M I lived in Eaton last year and had no knowledge about a communial kitchen on my floor

I don't like any of those rocks... i think its cause they don't know what to do with them and they try to put them somewhere to make them seem aesthetically pleasing or something. The campus looks beautiful! I thought they would never finish all the construction
