@@ct8377 wow i completely forgot that i made this comment! i absolutely love it at umiami. truth be told, the tuition is ridiculously expensive, but i've made incredible friends, and i'm so excited for the next few years here.

Could you tell me what are your favorite things about Miami and least favorite, and if you do know anything about transfer students? (it's cool if you don't) i would greatly appreciate anything you have to say about Miami.
@@ct8377 my favorite thing about umiami is that you’re absolutely able to make friends, whether that’s through clubs or people who live in your dorm… there’s always people to talk to. my best friends have been made through my suitemates in my dorm and my dance team! as for the miami area, i love that everything is super accessible. you can take the metro basically anywhere, or you can uber, but the metro is much cheaper if you want to check out the city or other places. least favorite thing about umiami is the tuition, which i mentioned before. i got a scholarship but the tuition is still ridiculously expensive, and there tends to be a little bit of an elitist culture on campus. there’s a lot of very rich people who go here, which there’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but it’s sort of overwhelming at times. as for the miami area, my least favorite thing is that there are definitely some weird people if you go out into the city. my friends and i have been approached my old men in the middle of the day, which is uncomfortable, of course. overall i think the positives definitely outweigh the negatives though!! don’t let the negatives deter you from going here; it’s an amazing school, with a lot of really great professors and great people. i don’t know a lot about transfer students, but if you’re worried about finding friends or being integrated into the spirit of the school, don’t worry about that at all. you’ll find your people!! sorry this was so long, but hopefully this was helpful. let me know if you have other questions :))

Are things still not normal there? I mean the University of Miami would be packed to the rafters at all times and now it just seems deserted even after they've moved back to on campus classes
Not completely normal but compared to other universities that are still fully online, we're quite functional I'm doing a wonderfully organized job of transitioning out of the covid life. Word is that next semester things will be fully back to normal. Hopefully our International students can all return from home so our student body can look familiar again!

My boy selling it short tryna be modest 😂 Clubbing is only half the party scene at that school. Traditional Frat/house parties exist. Dorm/apartment kickbacks, a college bar scene, etc. UM is def like 9 when it comes to being like the movies lmao not to mention it's insane diversity!
