The (high) cost of living in Miami is a big consideration for non-wealthy students.

Want to enroll in the U? There's an unwritten admissions rule, which 1. requires you to buy a BMW or a vehicle that looks like a BMW, 2. You must cut off every driver in front of you, and not use your turn signals. Drive anywhere within a 6 mile radius of the U of M, particularly on the expressway, and you will see how this rule is vigorously enforced.

For me UM, was cheap as an out of stater. UF cost a fortune. But I still go to UF.
I’m considering UF out of State as well, how has it been for you? I’ve heard that the out of state population is small so like how was that adjustment like for you?

@@King-zx4qr I'm also a hs senior applying to all FL colleges, and although I did apply to FSU, I'm definitely gonna pick UF (as long as I get in). Idk why I was never drawn to FSU, but I know that there's a lot of parties there, so that discourages some people from choosing FSU. And I'm personally not rlly a party person anyway lol
