Minnesota ukulele fan here. I appreciate your videos. It's the most fun I've ever had musically.
Glad you got hold of one! I loved it!
I really like Enya; and this is a good model. Oddly, I found the tone of the Nova to be better-which shocked me. I’m sure your Moon went back to the store or was sold, but I’d love to see someone else (other than me) compare them so I don’t have to think I’m going insane.
@@UkeStuff Mine was the 5 string of course which adds quite a lot of low end tone with the double low G. Can see how the 4 string would have less breadth to it, so can see where you are coming from.
I put a low G on mine tone is much better (don't like D'addario stings much anyway). Other than that, it's a great ukulele. Thanks for your videos.
This jibes with my experience with this instrument. I love it, but the sound is a little darker than I expected. I got mine from Aloha City Ukes and I had him set it up for a low G, the action is perfect (better than what you were seeing - getting a good setup from a reputable ukulele dealer is always a good idea).
Enyas haven't needed a lot of setup in my experience...but absolutely, a good setup from a reputable dealer is ALWAYS preferred.
I definitely would be interested to hear it with different strings. I haven’t tried all their strings, but I have not been fond of the d’adario ukulele strings that I have tried.
That video is coming soon!
