Nice start with a modern looking shinny CN engines in on Wisconsin. UP is looking sunny with its many engines in Southern Arizona. Squeals of Joy! All the excursion trains. One can only dream of owning just one car. The green machine BN is leading in Washington. I know railroad road safety with the blowing of the horn before a road...but the black diamond NS engines running with the Virginian sounded like dueling horns. CSX was moving some new engines? Such intricate construction work going on both in the east and the west. A wave in Washington with construction crew. Plus a unknown always fun flashlight morse code type flashes wave. Thanks
I wish VR would put up some webcams here in San Antonio, TX. Especially downtown & the yard on the NE side (if it still exists) out by the old Joe & Harry Freeman coliseum where they held the rodeo every year about this time (late January/early February.)
Finally, a Darwin candidate situation where we actually get to see the crew catch them red handed in the act! I can never urge people enough, no matter how much of a hurry you're in, NEVER climb on railroad equipment to get around!

Given the relatively infrequent train service in the US, you must have to wait a very very long time to cross the tracks right in front of a train... Equally, given the scarcity of tracks compared to roads in the average town, you must be really really dedicated to seek out that track and drive your car on it. I feel like we've not been giving some Americans proper credit for their patience and persistence...
Those people have a lot of nerve doing that when they could just as easily walk around the train with the engines so close by talk about lazy & dangerous
The most interesting part of this grab bag was undoubtedly seeing all of the railroad tie replacement activity in Chehallis at 2:41, 7:10, and 18:54! And get a load of that bird in La Plata at 24:47!
we missed on all that major snow that went thru CO to mid to east Nebraska 😜 do not hump is still funny & I even know what it means! 🤣🤣 is that red & grey loco a former NS? What was on it?
I got tons of snow! My mechanic 1.5 miles away from me said 13 inches. I thought at least 10. Nebraska. I think I have never seen that commuting train engine before. Was that in Connecticut? The no hump to me means do not let it move on its own. Right? Thanks
@@microbusss the hump in my area is a gravity yard with a deployment station, moving independently. Like the dealing of cards. So do not hump means to me .... zero independent movement. I suspect very fragile cargo. Delicate. More guided movement. Thanks
