It appears to have a rubberized finish. Does it have a waterproof rating ?

Did you test it in low light conditions? I heard that it has a mode that can see color at night

It does a great job at collecting what little light is available. It does better than most regular cameras/phones in low light

I'm not impressed at all. Nighttime is uh baddddd. If you had a way to mount a real i.r. flashlight to it, I'm sure it would be good. I have a $99 dollar one that blows that one out of the water, but it doesn't record. But the upside is it fits in my shirt pocket, and you can barely tell anything's in there. It's the smallest digital n.v. device I've ever seen, and it too can focus manually. I was blown away how good it is. I thought it would be junk at $99 but it's still working and doing what it does. I use it as a spotter. for the scope. And it has a built in i.r. that actually works. Digital has taken over N.V. products. But that's great. Because now the average working Joe has access to it now. $ 3000.00 for a Gen 1 was the norm. $ 500.00 is the norm now.

What are we expecting this NV30 scope to be based on? AT NIGHT !!!!!
NO REAL NIGHT TESTS DONE!
He shoots just to show and cuts when it becomes critical, so he must surely be paid or have a return.
NIGHT SCOPES ARE TESTED AT NIGHT IN ALL SITUATIONS AT ALL DISTANCES.
