So I just got these night vision googles there amazing just one thing in future models make the camera wider so the field of view is good
Great suggestion! I will pass on your feedback for a wider field of view to our team for future devices, currently the Swift 2 and Swift 2 PRO have an FOV of 53.8° degrees on the minimum zoom setting. Which is wider than the NVG10 (25 degree*) and the NVG30 (40 degree*), *I believe this is the FOV of these devices, there seems to be conflicting info online. i want this so bad just ordered a cape these products are so cool for affordable nvg if im being real id rather have it than be without

@@chrisplay8339 Although we are always happy to add countries to our delivery destinations when asked by customers, sadly not all countries are allowed. Unfortunately we aren't able to ship to Colombia. I'm so sorry, I believe it is down to some issue with imports in the past or perhaps some restriction on importing digital night vision. Which is why it hasn't been added I'm afraid. So sorry we couldn't add your country to our website list, you may be able to have Amazon.com ship to your address for an additional fee but if this isn't possible I'd think it unlikely. I'm sorry we can't give you a better answer but I hope it is a little helpful.

My only complaint is that when trying to focus on any object within a foot or so, it makes that object super bright. Other besides that for $200 you cant go wrong
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment on your experience using the Swift 2 PRO. It sounds like the IR light is bouncing back into the sensor off closer objects, and this may be able to be reduced by reducing the IR level itself, or toggling the backlight, or exposure setting to make it more comfortable to view.
Also, you could switch the the green view which may help reduce the brightness of nearby objects on the viewing screen.

If I’m using a helmet will I need a counterweight kit?
Great question. Although not necessary a counter weight can be helpful for added comfort, I would suggest considering using a USB power bank as a counter weight as this will mean you can plug in the Swift 2 whilst in use to charge or extend the battery, whilst also acting as a counterweight. I just got mine, haven't tested it outside at night yet. Is it resistant to rain and water?
Great question! The Swift 2 and Swift 2 Pro both have a rating of IP54, meaning they are dust and water resistant. I hope this helps!
I would really like to get a swift to use in airsoft fights. My only worry is that if a BB hit the camera, it might damage it. Is there anything protecting the camera?
Great question! The Swift 2 doesn't have any protective lenses unlike the Nightfox Prowl, however there are repair kits that we can supply for customers and will have up on the Nightfox website in the near future, that have replacement screens and lens covers in case they get cracked or damaged by bb strikes. I wanna get this is it good for hiking at night and being able to look around and see your surroundings good considering motion blur and stuff too. Is it also good for sitting and observing in hunting spots at night to see!?
Great question! The Swift 2 Pro is a great head-mounted night vision device, has a wide field of view of 53.8 degrees and a max viewing range of 130 meters at night, so provides a good view of your surroundings. Hello! Yes, we do ship to Australia. The Swift 2 Pro (as of 27 Dec) is currently out of stock, but we hope will be fully back in stock around mid-January.
If I'm on the move, which is better, Swift 2 or the Prowl?
Great question. I personally would say the Prowl, as the monocular allows you to use both eyes for different views, one to view the screen and see clearly in the dark, and the other to help better orient yourself by taking in more of the periphery. I hope this information is helpful.

What is the difference between the swift 2 and swift 2 pro
Great question! The Swift 2 PRO can record video and the Swift 2 can not record video. That is the only difference between the devices. I hope this helps!
Hello NightFox Team, im a happy owner of the swift 2 pro, yet i have an issue i can't see anywhere regarding the issue of when i put my nightfox on 60fps under the frame rate instead 30, everything crashes, i have mine since december and almost everyday i go look to try to understand whats happening and if there is a patch update already to it
Hello, I'm so sorry to hear you've encountered this. There is a glitch with some of the first batch of the Swift 2 and Swift 2 Pros when the recording rate is set to 60 frames per second. This doesn't increase the refresh rate of the screen. We don't have a patch for this issue as it is too user unfriendly, but we will have a new batch of Swift 2 and Swift 2 Pros arriving in the UK in Feb 2024 with the updated firmware already installed. We would be happy to replace your faulty Swift 2 once we have these new items in stock. how well do these work in pitch black conditions?
Great question! They are sensitive to ambient light that naturally occurs in the environment, such as moonlight and distant street lights. If you are in a very remote place, without moonlight, or in an enclosed space it will need the inbuilt IR. I hope this helps answer your question.

I've just received mine, it's been on charge for around 5 hours and still won't switch on, is this normal?
This is not the norm! Please check that when you are trying to turn the device on that it is not still plugged in to charge, and that you are pressing and holding the power button down for a few seconds until the screen illuminates. If this doesn't work, you may want to locate the pin hole reset button that is near to the USB recharging port and press it in with a pin or the end of a pen etc, for three seconds and then try to turn the device on. I hope this helps but if it doesn't please let me know and we will of course provide further assistance.
