Great puzzle haul. Sadly I'm on a no puzzle buy for a bit since I recently bought the new Dowdle 60,000 piece puzzle. So I will live vicariously through your puzzle hauls. Thank you for sharing your haul.

Despite being known for my large hauls, I'm seriously thinking that I need to go on a bit of a low buy during December and January. My spare room is bursting at the seams and I really need some time to catch up on puzzles that I've had in my to-do pile(s) for quite some time. 😬
AMAZING haul! I got so excited seeing that this was a movie-length video! 🤩 So many puzzles in here that you have influenced me to get recently - not surprised! LOVE the Magnolia’s! Not my usual puzzle style but I just had to snap up the White Rabbit one! I have this need to collect ALL the Alice puzzles, not sure why haha! The Scandinavian Presence puzzles look LOVELY, can’t wait to hear your thoughts once you’ve completed them on IG!! 😍 Oh and I must get my hands on the Martin Schwartz 500 piecers!! So far I'm enjoying the puzzle I'm doing from Scandinavian Presence. Gorgeous artwork and the pieces aren't bad either. 🙂

I literally just finished the Cavallini dog puzzle a couple of hours ago. I LOVED it!

Shrooms in Bloom is such a beautiful, fun puzzle. I adored the image, and was so surprised and delighted to see the different colours that mushrooms can have! 🟣🟠🍄🟡🟢
I too picked up Wintry Kitties with the hope that I have a chance to do it this winter. 🐈 🧣 🐈⬛️ I also very much enjoyed a Lacroix/Galison puzzle that I assembled earlier this year. I have another in my to do pile, yayyyy, and I haven't puzzled the reverse side of the one I already put together, come to think of it. I wonder if I'll do that. Do you do that with two-sided puzzles?

When it comes to double-sided puzzles... let's face it, my laziness and impatience usually wins out. So I just flip it over, look at the reverse side image, say "ooh ahh" a few times, maybe take a photo and call it a day. 🤷♀️

Great video and lots of beautiful puzzles. Love Cavallini puzzles and the skeleton one has been on my wish list for ages so hoping to treat myself for Christmas. I have the beehive one and loved doing it. Quite expensive to order from Amazon de. Galison is one of my favourite brands.

No, recorder/mix tapes really did come in those colours in the 90s. They were tying to compete with CDs. I had MANY different colours when I lived in Medford Oregon USA as a kid. As did nearly our whole school. The walkmans were easier and smaller to carry over the portable CD players. Of course I do not know what was available in other countries.

Oh that's so cool! 😀 If we had colourful ones here I'm sure I would have bought them all! 😆 I used to use a hand-me-down walkman during high school in the 90s - I decorated it in lots of stickers of course! 😁
You can't have a Walkman as a kid and not decorate it 😄. I glued jewels and pins on mine and used a lot of glitter 😅😅😅
My son has one now and he loves it!! Plus, it is far more durable than a mp3 or ipod!! His friends want one know, lols.
They cost a good amount more for the ones in really nice condition!! So I stripped mine down and he decorated with police decals 😄. He loves red so he made a mix tape that was red. Listens to it all the time!!
I kinda miss having something tangible to listen to music on... now I just have to decorate my phone and laptop with stickers (or fun phone covers) instead to re-live the nostalgia! 😅

Hi Jubie I’ve recently found your channel- I’m in South Australia. Do you find the puzzle quality varies between brands? I have had a couple of blue opal and some puzzle pieces are lovely and others are cheap feeling and aren’t cut properly.even the world of Jane Austen puzzle is superior to some of the others in the same series. Is that why you get your puzzles from uk and us? are they better quality

Some brands can definitely have inconsistent quality among their puzzles. Can be for multiple reasons - sometimes they started out using one manufacturer but then may have used a different manufacturer after that. Or they wanted to change how their puzzles are made and improve the quality. That is quite common especially with smaller, independent brands. Also, it seems it's quite common for different size puzzles from a single brand to be quite different in quality. So the 1000pc and 500pc can vary quite a bit.I'm sure there's probably lots of other reasons why too! 🙂
I don't get my puzzles from overseas because of any of these reasons - I don't think where you buy them from usually has any impact on quality as far as I know and have experienced. I just buy a lot of puzzles from overseas because I can't find them in Australia or sometimes the price is actually cheaper from overseas than here! 🤷♀️

From memory it has usually been some issues with the white paper backing peeling a bit or tearing. I've seen this happen with other brands too which is why I tend to prefer pieces that are just plain cardboard on the back. That said, I'm a sucker and despite the issues I've encountered I can't resist their beautiful designs! 😅
My experience with Ceaco has been hit or miss. I did Ceaco Nightmare Before Christmas Nightmare Antics for Halloween. I got lucky no bent pieces or pieces coming apart. I've the viewer who told you about the other Tabitha Brown puzzles. I got the same set in 300 pieces. Just completed Record Player today. I'm not sure what the cut is called but pieces are shaped differently from other puzzles I've done (Buffalo Games, Spinmaster, Ceaco). I might order Tabitha Brown's Copycat puzzle from Bits and Pieces directly cuz I didn't see it on their Amazon store.
Do you think you'll order Karen Puzzles 3,000 piece puzzle next year when it becomes available internationally? 3k is way too many pieces for me and I don't have enough space for it either.
I'm hoping the Moss Bowls Ceaco is ok - at least it's only 300 pieces.

I think most people refer to the unusual piece shapes as 'irregular'... or at least that's what I call them! 😅
I definitely want to get that Karen Puzzles puzzle! I don't know where or how I'm going to put it together but I'll figure something out! I've never done anything over 2000 pieces - mainly because of space and also because I don't usually see many designs I like at that size either. But I think Karen's puzzle is nice and colourful and doesn't look too challenging for such a large piece count. 🙂

Karen's puzzle looks like it shouldn't be difficulty to do the colors in sections. I seem to remember you saying that sometimes you get puzzles from a local puzzle shop. It's that correct, you can let them know that you'd be interested in getting Karen's puzzle next year. She said it will be in Ravensburger's 2023 catalog.
The Flower Arrangement puzzle is in stock here but is a bit expensive. I was hoping it might go on sale for Black Friday but it didn't sadly... guess I'll just have to hope it drops in price. 🤞
I find some items on Amazon go on sale for a good price every now and then anyway... just have to watch and be patient! 😅

Sometimes it can be good to take a break from puzzling, especially if you're just not in the mood or just 'not feeling it'. It could be fun to do something else you enjoy. ☺️ Or maybe even change to a different puzzle? 🙂

Great haul! Copen-"HAY"-gen is the preferred English pronunciation. I am planning to do the Jane Austen next week for the pages2pieces puzzle-along on Instagram. The last Flipsi was definitely the scariest for me.
