I love White Mountain puzzles. I’ve got about 6 of them. Most of them are themed like the Lefties one I’ve got, but I do have the 50’s Drive In one.
They really do have such fantastic images. I love how retro most of them are.
White Mountain is one of my favorites. When I occasionally complete puzzle I didn’t particularly enjoy from another brand, I usually grab a White Mountain to soothe me 😂
I can see why you would go back to it😂 Not only are the images amazing, but with those big pieces, it’s so easy to put together! They for sure are a “feel good” puzzle.
When I vacation at a resort on the beach, I always bring several new puzzles with me. I especially enjoy puzzling during the hottest part of the day. I finished all my puzzles I had with me and wanted a new one. The shop I went to had mostly White Mountain puzzles and I bought "Shell Seekers" (550 pieces, artist Mary Thompson), my first WM puzzle. Maybe I was just lucky, but the pieces were all separated. I did have a bit of a problem with glare but otherwise it was a fun puzzle to work. Your "Breakfast Table" puzzle is a great choice. I enjoyed seeing you put it together. Makes me hungry just to look at it - - pancakes ! - - and I hope they have blueberries inside them with maple syrup on top.

I always plan to bring puzzles or books with me on trips, then never do LOL. The glare is annoying with WM, but they have so many great images that I just look past that negative. I love them!

I can’t help it 😂I know it’s the puzzle for me when I can connect with it.
I own about 4 WM puzzles. I like the blue backing, it’s better than white backing. I am not a big fan of the loose interlocking pieces. It crumbles up when you try to move the pieces. I will be getting the plastic scooper to pick the pieces up. The colors in this puzzle really pop. I am going to work on the “Retro Kitchen” puzzle. One I got a thrift store for a great deal. I love your immersion inside your puzzles. I think you have a talent for story telling too ;)
I also really like the blue backing. But honestly, I need to look up what the differences are with the backing aside from color. Might be something I do a video on with other puzzle facts to know. I'm really not a fan of the loose pieces, but you certainly can't beat those images! I looked up your "Retro Kitchen" puzzle, and its awesome! I love kitchen images!
It's funny, I never thought so many would appreciate my immersion/puzzle stories. It's nice to hear that so many of you look forward to them. I'm happy to share them with you all😁
Just did my first white mountain puzzle last week! Doing my second one right now. I enjoy the pieces and the fit
I have a couple more sets that I have to work on before I pick up any more. The images are all fantastic!

I don't like pulling apart puzzle pieces just for the fear of the ripping backing or front image or damaging the tab piece?! I felt like I was saving its life by not pulling it apart. haha Fun video to watch. :)
I get iffy too when it comes to pulling the pieces apart😅I do my best to do it gently.
I like white mountain puzzles, I have several of them and had checked this one out on Amazon. I’m glad your doing this one so I might just order it.🎉

I've been wanting to get the WM puzzle they make for the 50s. It's so pretty and I could see having so much fun doing it. I'm glad you had fun and felt good while puzzling. IMO fun is the ultimate goal and reward. Thank you for being us with you. I love so much how you tell a little story at the beginning where you imaging yourself in the puzzle. It's very entertaining and now I want to do that with my own puzzles. ❤
You are absolutely right! All that matters is that you are having fun. Even when I come across quality issues, or just very cheaply made puzzles, I always like to make the best of it. And if you really love the image and can connect with it in some way, that's even better. It really is so nice to hear that so many of you enjoy my puzzle stories! I love sharing my connection with the images with everyone, no matter how silly the story is 😂. Thank you!
Ooh, what a lovely image! I've done some WM before and really enjoyed them. I have one sitting in my to-do pile right now (American Diner), I'm going to have to bump it up and get to it soon.

Oooo I have American Diner too! It's still sat unopened on my shelf, and it's most likely gonna be the next WM set I complete. There's so many sets I want to pick up though. I just love so many of their images.

I love White Mountain puzzles and their Customer Service is excellent.
Good to hear that they have great customer service! I hate when companies offer certain benefits, but give you the run arounds when you actually have an issue. That's a big plus for White Mountain.

Nice review of White Mountain! They are one of my favorite puzzles. They do have some issues of not having a cut all the way thru it, but their customer service is spot on! I ordered a puzzle that got delivered with a corner dented in. It was for a gift and I was a bit disappointed it arrived like that. I called their customer service and they sent me another one!!! I did need to send them a picture of the damaged box, but I was really impressed they sent out another one for free.
It’s great to hear when a company has really good customer service. A lot of times that’s a hit or miss. I do have a couple more sets from White Mountain that I’m really looking forward to starting soon. Their images are fantastic. I also really want to try to find an older set and compare it’s quality with their current production.

I have that same puzzle I love white mountain puzzles Ibwish they had more soda images. W love the large pieces lots of dust tho overall love this brand my favorite

well Hello... I sat down with lunch and to watch a video and there you were... yes I like White Mountain for all the reasons you mentioned.... I like watching channels that do different brands... as far as I know no one has found the "perfect brand" but we are sure having fun doing all the different ones..... yes happy puzzling to you too....
Happy I joined you for lunch , I ate my waffle with you😁. I keep getting excited whenever I think about how many more puzzle brands are out there, I've barely scratched the surface. It's nice to have everyone join me as I go about my different experiences with different sets.
I did two White Mountain puzzles recently. One was older and the other was newer. The older one was definitely of a much better quality so think that has changed over time unfortunately. I did love the images though. Great time for a 1000 piece! 💜🧩
It's unfortunate how quality ends up changing for the worse over time. You would think they would work on improving it. But still, the images are fantastic and still make the overall experience fun. I was super excited about my completion time!
I like their purple backing color. My most recent White Mountain puzzle was called Easter Egg Hunt. I always look forward to your videos!! So fun!
I just looked up your Easter Egg Hunt puzzle, and I love it! White Mountain really does have some amazing images. There are so many that I want to collect, but I still have two more that are unopened, so I must stop myself lol.

Too funny I just finished a white mountain puzzle (2nd one of that brand) mine was 1000 piece called The sacred sisterhood of wonderful wacky women from 2010…it was ok but the loose crumbly fit was irritating…. But I used your scooper trick…we’ll sort of.. I bought the largest flat spatula from dollar tree and used that to move my sections. I won’t go out of my way to buy this brand but in the end it’s the image that usually sucks me in to getting a puzzle. Thanks for the great stories.
Yea the fit was a bit annoying. Thankfully the image was fantastic, but WM images are pretty much all fantastic. There are so many that I want to collect, but I need to work on the other two sets I have here before purchasing any more. That puzzle you're working on looks so interesting, I love the artwork. Your spatula buy was a great idea though, and super affordable. Happy you enjoy my stories 😁
This was the perfect video to accompany my breakfast! 😁 I really love the stories that you always tell about the images. ❤️ And seriously, why is there a school bus? So stressful!! 😂 I also wonder if the puzzle brand got some money from the cerial companies. 😄 (They feel a bit pushy, pancakes would have been enough) Loved the video as always! ❤️

As for that darn school bus, the fact that my daughter didn't even have her shoes on was really making me nervous. I guess someone else is gonna have to take these kids to school after we finish our lovely breakfast of overly processed cereal and delicious pancakes. And yes pancakes for sure would've been enough. Can you imagine having all those OPENED boxes of cereal...they just better get eaten quickly before they go stale....oh goodness I'm getting carried away with this story now 🤣🤣🤣
I like white mountain for there wide variety of puzzles. The pieces use to fit tighter when I did them years ago just started to them again when I saw the image of the bettycrooker cookbooks I really enjoyed making that one and am sure I will do it again. I was disappointed in the loose fit i don’t think I have come across any pieces stuck to one another. I still like my Springbox puzzle but same problem as white mountain puzzles not the quality the use to be so disappointing. For some reason the 500 piece puzzle pieces stay together much better. I am making a puzzle by dowdle a Mickey Mouse one it’s a jungle one and much harder than I thought. But love the box and the poster. I really don’t like the smaller pieces but fun photo and box is so nice. The one thing about the higher quality puzzles is they can be made more than once I think some I have made three times especially my 500 ones which I have collected a lot of in the past. Like to do the 500 ones when I want to do an easy puzzle. Well off to do my puzzle. Thanks for your video. By the way I always wonder how many puzzles you have bought you haven’t made yet? Interesting to hear that their fit was a lot better in the past. I wonder why that tends to happen with certain brands over time. You would think they would work on improving to make their brand even better. I guess sometimes they just cut corners to save money in the end.
I loved the Dowdle set that I did previously which was Beauty and the Beast. I've seen that Mickey Mouse in the jungle set, and I have to pick it up at some point. They have such a lovely selection of Disney images. I really did enjoy my first experience with Dowdle, and the overall presentation is fantastic.
As for the number that I have bought that I haven't made...lets just say I really don't need to buy any more puzzle sets 🤣🤣.
My First White Mountain Puzzle was a Collage from Pepsi. It was very fun to puzzeling.
Ooo I know which one your talking about. I've seen that Pepsi one at a shop once. White Mountain have so many wonderful collage sets. I have the "Betty Crocker Cookbook" collage .
I have this puzzle. Regarding the kids and the bus…. Notice that the bus is empty. So, where’s the driver? Dad’s wearing a suit, so he’s not the driver. Look at the clock. It’s not even seven o’clock. Are here ids even old enough for school? Yes, I do get not the pictures.
Whilst completing the puzzle, my mind did start wandering back to what might actually be happening in this image. I did find the empty school bus quite eerie...too much strangeness and randomness...what's really going on in this image???

It's interesting...even with the negatives, I also still really enjoyed it. It has to be those images though. I haven't seen one I don't like yet.

I really enjoy the White Mountain puzzles. I have done two so far, Coffee & Five And Dime. They are bigger in size than a normal 1000 pc, large sturdy pieces, love the piece shapes and their images. I have others in my stash and looking forward to doing them. 🙂🙂🧩🧩
I almost bought "Coffee" when I last saw it! I was so darn tempted, but forced myself to buy a set from a different brand, as I already had a few unopened WM sets at the time. It's definitely coming home with me next time. I think WM images are some of the best I've seen. There's just something about the style that just makes you want to collect them all.
