Wow. This is my husband’s worst fear!! It’s amazing though, what a beautiful collection. I have a little over 100 puzzles and I thought that was a lot. I feel better now!

Since this was filmed things have got a little (a lot) out of hand... 😬😅 I'll hopefully do an updated collection video early next year.
Watched this video video the day it came out. It was really late at night, but I couldn't go to bed without watching it! It was a really fun tour, highly anticipated by me. I had a number of thoughts running through my head, including: "this is so much neater and more organized than what I have going on," and, in terms of size, "is this my future? Gulp!" 🤯🤪😁 You have such wonderful puzzles, Jubie! Thanks so much for doing this video, and giving a look into this amazing collection!

It definitely takes quite a bit of effort to keep it looking neat… sometimes things get a bit out of hand so I end up sorting and re-organising them a lot.
As for your future… well I did start off with a nice, small collection and then I just got hooked! 🙃🤷♀️😅 I think both puzzling and collecting puzzles can become quite addictive!
Wow its like looking at my room. Tbh loved the tour and the jiggies spotted a lot of old friends here glad I m not alone with a large jigsaw collection xx

I have that Springbok cake puzzle. It was fun, the chocolate part was the hardest. It was a challenge. I glued it and have it hanging in my dining room.

I got so surprised at the 1000 Jahre Österreich Puzzle and especially by your almost flawless pronunciation for a (I'm assuming) non-native. I think I have seen this puzzle around at my grandparents house too, so what a funny coincidence.

Yes, I’m definitely a non-native speaker but I grew up with my dad speaking German around the house a bit and also took some lessons in University. ☺️

I am very happy to see so many Cobble Hill puzzles. They’re from Vancouver Island, BRitish Columbia, Canada.
Ever since discovering the brand in early 2020 I've really been enjoying them - so many great images and fun, irregular piece shapes! 😀
I dont have as much puzzle as you do, around 120ish. but it keeps growing. when I tell my self to stop, I go out and buy more and I still plan to get alot more. hehe.🤪
Ha ha I know how you feel! 😅 Sometimes I try to stop buying more puzzles but it’s so difficult to stop! I think it’s also just as fun collecting puzzles as it is putting them together! 😁

I definitely plan to showcase Aussie brands every now and then as there's some great ones out there! Unfortunately though they're not always easy to get a hold of overseas and in North America. 🙂

Such an impressive collection, I love everything except the Krypt, don't think I will ever tackle one of those. I have about a tenth of your collection, no specific brands or themes, I like to try them all.
I totally understand about the Krypt puzzles… sometimes I don’t even know why I have them! 🙃😅
I don’t think I have a favourite brand either - definitely have some that I really love but I also enjoy trying lots of different brands. 🙂

Hi Jubie! You're such a lovely person ☺ I'd like to tell you what I think about your collection, share some information with you and suggest something. I hope you won't find my comment rude or otherwise negative. That's not what I'd like...
Basically, you have an amazing collection. Really amazing. A lot of people could envy you, including me. I don't even dream of having some of those puzzles... Many of them are hard to come by in Poland where I live, or they are simply far too expensive to get. And you have them! Right there! On your shelves! And it's so sad for me to see that at least 80% of those marvellous puzzles you own are still originally packed, untouched, shrink-wrapped. I feel like you piece together one puzzle and buy 20 new. It's really sad... Start enjoying those puzzles you already own! You could make such wonderful content on CZcams about them... Really. Think about it. Be more a puzzler than a collector. I wish you that with all my heart. And, I'm really looking forward to seeing that decluttering video 😊
As far as Gibsons puzzles are concerned, older editions are in big boxes, and new editions are in small boxes. I read once that they want to take care of the planet and so, they started making smaller boxes for their puzzles, which is really nice.
Now, not that I would like to suggest you to buy even more puzzles, but I can see you don't have any Heye puzzles with cats by Rosina Wachtmeister... Those are one of my very favourites. Extremely beautiful and so fun to piece together. Also, Heye have a lot of puzzles in triangular boxes with such cool images like those by Rita Berman. Check them out. They're really cool.
I'm actually amazed to see you've got a Castorland and Trefl puzzles. I'm shocked they travelled so far, wow! Those are Polish brands. I personally don't really like Trefl, but they have wonderful new series of various crazy shaped, spiral, etc. puzzles. They are definitely those worthy to check out. And Castorland, well, you'd be shocked how many Castorland collectors we've got in Poland... Lot's of people love those puzzles here (especially limited green series). I also did quite a lot of their lovely images. If you're curious, you can find them on my Instagram "zapuzzlowana" 😉
As far as my collection is concerned, well, I've been a puzzle maniac for just a year, but it's been a wonderful year and a wonderful journey. I don't keep all puzzles I do. I keep only those that I love, the special ones, and those I'd definitely want to do again. The rest I sell and for that money, I buy something new. This way I don't give my husband a heart attack 😅

I definitely agree that I do have A LOT of puzzles, and also many that are still unopened. I do actually complete quite a few each month - some on CZcams, some on Instagram and some I don’t post. But yes, I do think I’m probably buying more than I’m actually completing unfortunately. It’s definitely something I’d like to work on next year - decluttering puzzles but also trying to buy less. So please wish me luck! 😅
That makes sense with the Gibsons boxes. I’m glad they’re trying to reduce waste. 🙂
We have Heye here but certainly not as many as are available in Europe, but I’ll keep an eye out for those that you mentioned. The cat series sounds interesting!😀
Oh wow! I didn’t realise Castorland and Trefl were Polish brands. I haven’t seen too many Castorland ones here but there is quite a lot of Trefl in the stores and online here - a lot of fun designs.

I realise my under the stairs collection is tiny now. You have a huge puzzle stash. I see a few I have completed too. I wonder if you will manage to puzzle them all. Especially when you buy more. I would not even know where to start. When you declutter I wish You all the best.

Absolutely doing a declutter early next year, although I have a feeling it’s not going to make much of a dent. 😬 I’m also going to *attempt* to buy less puzzles next year and try and get through a lot I already have. Wish me luck! 😭😂
Wow! You have a large and beautiful collection. I mainly have Jan Van Haasteren and Ravensburger but just recently tried cloudberries, pomegranate and clementoni. I hear so much positive about the cloudberries puzzle pieces and it turns out their a lot like the Jan Van Haasteren (JVH) pieces. I have about 200 puzzles in my collection but it looks like you have at least double that. Have you counted them? It would be into know how many you have.
Oh that's quite interesting that the Cloudberries is similar to the JVH puzzles! What did you think of Pomegranate and Clementoni?
I think at the time of filming this I counted somewhere over 300 puzzles... I lost count! 😅 The amount of puzzles I have acquired since then has been A LOT. So I'm kind of scared to count them now! 🙈🙈🙈
I suspect your 1500 Bluebird cat puzzles are probably by the artist Lesley Ann(e) Ivory.

The amount of puzzles I do each week/month can vary. This year I started making ‘Monthly roundup’ videos too where I show all the puzzles completed in the previous month. So based on those, I would say I do maybe 15-20 puzzles a month usually. And often at least 10 of those are 1000 pieces. 😀
Something you might notice if you end up watching a few haul videos is that I am definitely adding more puzzles to my collection every month than the amount I complete each month… 🙈😅

Hmm, I actually put on a comment before the one about the Bluebird cat puzzles. I wrote to give you information about the 1500 Gold Collection Jumbo jigsaw. I found the following:- Jumbo manufactured this very rare puzzle in the late 90’s. The title is Beauty and the Beast, by Thomas Blackshear II. The puzzle belongs to their Golden Collection. Many of the pieces have a shiny golden layer in different areas of the painting. Will you get this information this time???

Has there ever been a puzzle that was just too difficult to do or any you just didn't enjoy doing?
I think I've managed to (stubbornly) finish every puzzle I've started. 😅 But I've definitely really struggled with some. I found both the black and gold Krypt puzzles from Ravensburger to be especially difficult and also quite frustrating and overwhelming - so certainly never doing a puzzle quite like that again! 😓

Amazing collection! I just started an excel sheet to keep track of all the puzzles I currently have and have done! I'm curious what you do with puzzles you've done and probably won't do again. Do you trade, sell, or donate?

I should probably move to using an excel spreadsheet too - currently just using my own list system on my phone. 🙃🤷♀️
With puzzles I’m not planning to do again I actually do all three. If it’s in great condition then I usually try and sell it on Facebook marketplace or swap it for another puzzle with someone. And for older puzzles or maybe some that I don’t think would sell or trade as well then I just donate to either my local charity store or there’s a local Facebook puzzle group that shares puzzles around.
