@@mzrafi1962 The one who prefers chicken over paneer. And if that hardcore non-veg guy is Indian then typically he does not eat beef, or turkey, or deer, or lobster, or tuna, or salmon, or bacon chips, or Ham, or Duck, or sea shells.
Also, I don't think there is some proudness in eating Non-veg foods. I mean you are involved in violence towards mute creatures who can't defend themselves against knives and axe. Plus they are tortured. So you should be ashamed.

Super Video, Super Choices ! ... Personally, I had visited Iran few times and made some good friends who very well know my fondness for their cuisine. In Dubai there are plenty of Iranian Restaurants, I would consider it a privilege if we could taste together. Great Vlogs !

@@pratimapankar3635 persians are an ethnicity not a religion. Doesn't matter if a persian follows Islam or Zoroastrianism. We share the same blood. Only thing that Persians who live in Iran have slight arab admixture and the persians living in India(parsees) have indian admixture

Thx for this video...Irani resaurants were such an essential part of Bombay but have been disappearing over the years.... Great to know that there are still some "survivors". I must admit though that I was a bit disappointed that you only mentioned the typical Parsi Dhansag in passing but didn't try it.... Of course, being vegetarian you couldn't try out the other famous Parsi speciality "Patra ne machchi"...But thx anyway for showing where these two dishes are still served. Will try them out on my next visit to Aamchi Mumbai.

I do understand the legendary status that most of the Irani restaurant enjoys in Mumbai. But seriously their rates are exorbitant. 70 rupees for that raspberry soda which doesn't even taste good. Service wise they aren't 'A' level but still charge a bomb for most of their food items.
Buds only the Britannia Cafe is stupidly expensive and I totally agree with you about the customer service. However do try Sassanian and Kayani restaurant they are value for money and lip-smacking hardcore non veg food.
@Adam LB Maybe you can pay a bit more so that the place keeps flourishing.I mean it's a really historical cafe though.
All items in Brittania restaurant are very expensive.
in mumbai everything is expensive and it is normal price there.
*in Mumbai almost everything is overpriced food clothing flats anything you Name it but the byculla one is cheapest Irani cafe unfortunately it's More*

It’s a nostalgia for me, I lived in Colaba for many years, you made me think to visit Bombay again, Irani & Parsi cafes are gem of Bombay , I hope they keep on running, besides all the Uncles on cash counter use to be so warm... big time missing them right now, Lived in many parts of world but Bombay’s Irani cafes are unbeatable

I bet parsi cuisine is much more than bun maska,ginger cookies, egg bhurji, Irani chai and mawa cake. Was actually anticipating reviews on Patra ni macchi, chicken and mutton dishes. However i enjoyed watching your video and you looked cute and dressed rightly for an irani cafe outing!

Baapre I thought the Dog sitting on the galla was a stuffed toy, only realized after it shaked its head to be real one.....
This is the first time someone has showed their signature dessert "Caramel Custard" it looked so yummy....
Chai is my all time favorite drink and I have had Irani chai they taste ok compared to other ginger masala chai you get in small stalls in mumbai....
Most of these Irani restaurants in mumbai the magic behind the amount of people visiting the place on a daily basis is their signature dishes and ambiance if you just notice it you can see old style table and chair and even the walls would have all the comic graffiti on it and also some times some certificates would be hanging around all this makes the Irani place a must visit in mumbai....
Mawa cake is my all time fav cake infact my late grand father introduced me to this delicacy, as he used to eat it when he was younger and later he used to get it for us, and since my childhood this is the only cake I knew which was tasty was the mawa cake...
I consider puffs to be better choice and filling than samosas and batata vadas.....
King circle coolers Irani cafe is also a popular joint and many bollywood shoots have taken place there...
This video has definitely made me so tempting to visit mumbai only to relish the iranian food and authentic maharashtrian cuisine.....

Visited Merwans Opp Grant Road.......It was totally fun trying Bun Maska with Chai..Their special mawa cake melts in the mouth....Lovely place with an legendary touch .
