Does the nail being opaque not affect the ability of the gel to cure underneath? I was under the impression tips had to be clear or translucent to adhere properly with gel.
I was wondering the same thing I've always thought the darker the nail (glitter or gel polish) then the full cure wouldn't work 🤷♀️ hope that makes sense lol it's almost 3am and I haven't had any sleep 🤷♀️💤
When you pre-design the nails, you need to make sure you are using colors/glitters that are somewhat translucent to let the light through. If you are uncertain if they are translucent enough, you can always mix an iridescent glitter to break up the color. This will allow the light through without changing the color.
@@youngnailsinc I understand the glitter technique, but the pinky is pure black. I don’t understand how the light is able to hit through that. However, it looks like it worked. I’m just impressed by it.
@@SarahRodriguez-1619 We used two thin coats of the gel polish, so it was still able to fully cure the gel underneath. If you apply your gel polish too thick or in too many layers, that may cause issues. Just make sure to keep your application thin

These are beautiful and great design tips. Thanks so much. I saw you said to cut, soak or e-file. How you you do a fill? What if you wanted to keep the design for 6 weeks. I'm i missing how to fill with this techniques of new fiber gel? Thanks so much ❤
You would fill them with fiber gel and prep the nail where it grew out like you do for any other fill. As for keeping the design going, you can always add the same color or change it up a little similar to this video. czcams.com/video/yVHm2lZpUxE/video.html
I love this idea. However, since the nails are pre designed. How would you know if there are any air bubbles? if you can’t see through. Even if you load the gel on thick, for better adhesion. But then have issues with the gel seeping out on the sides.
As long as you are rocking the tip onto the nail the technique will work to not have air bubbles. If you have too much product on the nail when doing this the product will squeeze out the sides.

How long do the full cover nails stay on ? I have tired this same technic with gel polished full cover tips and they did not cure properly under the polished nail and came right off.
If you use too opaque of a color before applying them, the light won't be able to cure all the way through. Because we used glitters and colors that are not solid, they let the light through and can fully cure the Fiber Gel underneath. Using proper colors and techniques, these nails should last at least 2 weeks.
Really beautiful I love that purple glitter the best though lol...I have the same question as other's about how this would cure properly ? I'd always thought the nail needed to be clear to cure through...oh and one other thing I'd love to use your protein bond but at $100 on Amazon in Australia it's a little pricey for me...do you have to be qualified to purchase from your shop...thankyou for sharing 💜💅💜

I really don't want to come off as rude, but this really doesn't seem safe. If you are predesigning them, the gel won't be able to cure properly underneath the light and can lead to alot of issues and allergies. It's fine of you are designing them after you attach them with gel, but the way you are doing it in the video should only be done if you are planning to attach them with nail glue after they've been designed.

@@youngnailsinc I still wouldn't trust it, it's far better to teach people to attach the full cover tips and do nail art on them after. Otherwise they should stick to an air drying nail glue if they want to pre-design them. There is just too much margin for error with attaching pre-designed tips with gel. I respect your company and team for putting out tonnes of great education on the Internet, but this is something I think shouldn't be taught as something that should be done. Especially since you don't just sell to nail techs, but to everyone.
I agree, this technique is a bit problematic since it may not cure properly. In my opinion the tips should be applied and then do the design or glitter effects

I’m wondering this exact same thing because I’ve had issues with curing when trying to attach a full cover tip that was already painted and opaque

How can it cure with product all ready on the nail? Will it work with gel polish?
The glitters used on these nails are translucent enough to let the light through and will cure all the way.

Where do you get the tip holder? It's impossible to hold the tip and do this. I need something to held them and can't find one!
You can find nail stands on amazon. Unfortunately, we do not sell them individually. They are only available in our Instant Studio Kit.
Hey 👋🏾 I love this video was wondering if you could do the same thing with acrylic instead of gel because I haven’t got the gel kit yet😂?
Are you wanting to adhere the nails with acrylic?
@@youngnailsinc yes could u use acrylic to do what u done with fiber gel
I am definitely getting Mood Ring glitter, absolutely beautiful!!! Thank you Karen for another great video ❤️
Unfortunately it is a limited edition glitter and is no longer available.
Awesome design. How would you remove these?
You would cut down and then soak off or e-file

This is from the fiber gel kit that is offered on the website? For a beginner it looks overwhelming lol
Yes the is the fiber gel kit on our website. The kit does not come with the glitters though. We have another video on the kit specifically
