Suzanne Morphew's autopsy reveals homicide as cause of death

- Seven months after the remains of Suzanne Morphew were discovered in a shallow grave in a remote area of Saguache County, her autopsy has been completed.
The manner of death is listed as "homicide by undetermined means in the setting of butorphanol, azaperone, and medetomidine intoxication," according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
The autopsy report said sedatives and tranquilizers were found in Suzanne's bones. Lawyers for Barry Morphew told 9NEWS that caffeine was also found in her body. Her biking clothes were found with her remains, according to Barry's attorney and the autopsy report.
A bullet was also found, but it wasn't clear whether it was used, according to the attorneys of Barry Morphew. His attorneys also tell 9NEWS that none of Suzanne's bones in her feet were found in the shallow grave, nor were her shoes. They do not know why that might be.
Morphew, 49, was last seen on Mother's Day 2020. She lived in Maysville in Chaffee County, west of Salida, with her husband Barry and their two daughters, Mallory and Macy. When she vanished, the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office said she went for a bike ride but never returned home.

Her husband is 100% guilty
YEP.
No.
Hmm.. everyone is focusing on her husband which was the main reason of the Prosecution failure to prosecute. They need to focus on her paramour as well, the married man, a father of 5 which turned out as well their family friend. Whom Suzanne Morphew desired to eloped to Costa Rica, but who claimed that he is not serious with her, not divorcing hs wife and no planned to abandoned his family unlike desperate Suzanne Morphew.

I know people with guns, but I don't know anyone with a tranquilizer gun
I know people who hunt In This Very county, and they say the tranquilizer gun makes him look crazy and guilty.
We have a farm and we have a tranquilizer gun.. I don't know anyone that would have a tranquilizer gone unless you have animals and would need it. They speculated that she had been shot with a tranquilizer gun, they must have connected the tranquilizer gun to her husband somehow, then when they did find her body she has it in her Bones. They absolutely need to arrest him sooner rather than later
@@sarabrant723The article says he shot her with it at home, then chased her around until the meds kicked in. That sounds evil to me!
Did the husband have a tranquilizer gun? Do you remember another husband also charged with the murder of his wife in that state? According to him "she fell into a stream when they were hiking & he couldn't reach her". After 2 trails he was set free, his one daughter was very aggressive saying how innocent he was. He was already remarried. Another husband there was convicted, similar circumstances.
We need to ban assault tranquilizer weapons.
There was NEVER a bike ride!!!!
We knew that!!
Sure there was! She and her bike were "riding" in the trunk of Barry's car. That's the ONLY thing he didn't lie about.
Explain the unknown male DNA which matched sexual assault cases in other jurisdictions on her bike grips and handlebar and seat, found her body while searching for another missing women not related to this case. DNA matters, it's about the only evidence that will exonerate an innocent person in prison.
Jeff, it was explained. All clear. Google is your friend...

He saw her chatting with her boyfriend, got mad, chased her around, shot her with tranquilizer darts. He was on video throwing away a tranquilizer gun and had a cartridge in his washing machine. He should be behind bars.

I'm not saying this autopsy doesn't look very bad for BM, but your "facts" are questionable.
Still no evidence, you all are just clowns. Guilty before proven innocent.
I was beginning to think Suzanne's case would be forgotten. I hope Barry is indicted soon.
To believe a random person tranqualized her is preposterous...she never went for a bike ride that fateful day.
Yet, she was having multiple affairs, and there's DNA evidence linking an unknown (or undisclosed) rapist that's wanted throughout the American SW to the scene. Also, I guess we'll ignore the fact that his movements have been thoroughly tracked (from CCTV footage, the GPS on his truck and phone, eyewitness statements, and paid bills), and she was found in an area that's over an hour away from their home and multiple hours away from where we know the husband was for that time period. Go figure.
Exactly!
@@robertgoodson5528
Oh, now it's MULTIPLE affairs. Ok, Mr. Know-It-All.... What's your theory? That she went for a bike ride without all her supplies, in an area she's NEVER biked before and anyone with a brain wouldn't even try to bike and on that said unlikely and ill-prepared for ride some crazed sex pest swooped her up, threw her bike, went West on the Hwy to throw her helmet, turned around to go East on the Hwy back to her house where the sex pest broke into the safe and stole Barry's animal tranq darts to use on Suzanne, also leaving a single print in her vehicle, for no particular reason.
That's stupid.
There was a plastic cap to the tranquilizer needle found in the washing machine after the murder… Barry’s a dunce and left it in his clothes when he washed them after he murdered her!!!!

Everyone knows her husband did it
Barry Morphew tranquilized her then most likely strangled her once she was incapacitated or gave her enough to kill her. LE was correct. This should put Morphew in prison. He admitted having tranquilizer drugs at his house and of using them on deer. The biking clothes on her were just an attempt at an alibi trying to not have it known that Suzanne was last alive at her house with Barry there. I wonder if the bullet found was the same caliber as the one found on the bedroom floor. I am adding that she was not found in biking gear but workout gear. It’s the defense statement that adding the term” biking gear” That was not in the autopsy. They just described the clothing she was wearing. If you read the report, A hooded cotton sweatshirt with Crested Butte on it is not "biking gear" as the defense is claiming. Same with Yeti shorts. Plus, they found a workout glove with her. Thats not a biking glove. I am so tired of the defense and their BS. STOP! She was probably just wearing leisure/workout gear when she had the confrontation with Barry which ended her life. So, she had coffee. It does not mean it was in the morning. People drink coffee all day. She was known to not bike in the morning but in the afternoon. They can’t even match up their BS with the known facts. They are just making stuff up without overlaying their fictitious narrative with documented statements because they cant.
