Hey Jason, is it possible to record with the mevo upsidedown? Will mevo flip the picture correctly?
Yes. In the image adjustment settings there is a flip option which can be set to on, off or auto.
I can’t find the audio mixer or the find faces page. What am I missing?
Are you in the single cam Mevo app or the Multicam app?

Hey man, thanks for you review ! I'm a street musician and often livestream my sessions. I'd like to upgrade the audio with that camera. Would I be able to mix sound coming from the line out of my amp into the 3,5mm line input of the memo with the internal microphones of the mevo itself ? That way I could give my viewers a better sound of my music with still the ambiant sounds from the street. I think you do reply to that question but just want to be sure ; ) Cheers !
It's almost that simple, with one slight change: You'll need to run sound from your amp into the usb-c input (3.5mm to usb-c adapter) to retain the use of the built in Mevo mics. Plugging into the 3.5 jack on back of the Mevo disables the built in mics. I run this configuration all the time and levels can be mixed in the Mevo app. Good luck!!
@@JasonHoffmanYT Thanks a lot for your quick answer ! So just a cable from the line out of my amp into the usb-c adapter and then into the usb-c input of the Mevo. That way, I can mix sound coming from the amp with sound from the camera itself. Great ! I guess that'd be a big improve. I'm still hesitating between that solution and just buying a tool like Irig Stream (with a little mic plugged in it for the ambiant sound). But I'd lose the ability of recording my sessions on a memory card and also I guess the Irig would suck the power out from my phone quite quickly.
My experience has been just as easy as you described.
Can I ask a last question ? Have you tried a facebook live with the Mevo ? What I like with streaming with the phone is the ability to see the comments. Also I can pin a comment. Would I lose that with the Mevo ?
You would see them pop up if streaming to FB live but not be able to do anything with them until after. So you get a notification of a comment (including the actual comment) that last about 5 seconds but actually monitoring and reacting cant happen in the Mevo app. That being said, if you are using an iPad, slide over can keep a floating window with your FB stream up to act on comments. Clear as mud?

I'm starting in the video streaming business for conference, Barmitzvah, and other events, (I was a Vimeo Pro member since 10 years but I went to Vimeo Premium Annual this week and they offer a free MEVO Start camera as bonus), Now I'm also acquiring 2 MEVO Black (the older model with the red colored ring) for a really good price and a Livestream MEVO Boost, and my question is: is this mix of 3 different MEVO Camera will work well in a multi camera livestreaming, using Livestream Studio 6.0 ? thank you very much in advance, Kind regards,
