Wayfair Shower Door, What you need to know before buying.

While the glass is itself is up to "par", watch out for the hardware.
The hinges on this particular installation did not have a fail safe which is necessary for longevity of your new shower enclosure.
Gaskets DO compress over time! Added steps should be taken for backup.
I (sadly) did not film the rest of the install because I was literally pissed it barely fit in the first place and I had to modify the glass with sanding which I REALLY HATE doing.
I wound up not using the hinges and installed our CRLaurence hinges that I had in my truck for another later project which do have the nub needed for proper "Exceptional glass" securement.
I had to sleep at night knowing the glass would not be a service issue or worse a safety issue.
Do it right.

How would you go about on maintenance with one of these? I’m trying to repair the exact same shower hinge. Door is sagging and can’t open/shut properly. Thanks in advance.
