Tim, while you were at the Epcot Event you mentioned, I had the good fortune to meet Jenn, Jackson and Oliver, This is my great big Thank You to Jenn. I felt so honored when you stopped by my table after your meal to allow me to record an outro for an episode (which I later realized I messed up by not saying who I was). It was so gracious of you to spend some of your time speaking with me. It was one of the high points of my Disney trip. Again, thanks so much Jenn!!

I feel like the last couple years Disney is treating D23 like a focus group. They say the ideas that they are thinking and looking for how the crowd will react…. I know many are frustrated and I think it’s because they aren’t saying these ideas are concrete.
I know it’s definitely frustrating because they’re not making actual announcements but clearly Disney has a hard time figuring out what fans actually want so I like that they’re kind of testing the waters and then seeing the reactions and what people say before they spend so much money to make it a reality
@@peg516I think Disney needs to do more research with different talent because I feel like there’s so many insane/amazing ideas and Disney just misses out on so many opportunities. It’s how they lost out on Harry Potter because their ideas were horrendous
I agree. they make such a big deal about items that will not attract new visitors or add anything new to frequent visitors. Who is really excited about a new Walt statue? They have been talking about it for years and it still has not been completed. I think the heads of parks and creative need to be replaced with people who understand the target audience. Journey into Imagination is 25 years old and in need of a major renovation and they announce a figment meet and greet? Its just anther band aid on a stab wound...
Tim, Jenn... Your work never ceases to impress me. You guys are THE best spokespeople for Disney/WDW from an International perspective, not just US. I've been visiting (not frequently enough 😢) from Scotland for 30 years and you guys are so lovely, So professional, kind and genuine. Why Disney don't back you I'll never know. You deserve the credit for providing such a fantastic service and being true Floridians embracing the tourism and entertainment industry 👏🏻
Muppets being ‘more popular than ever’ and no new announcement 🤨. Can we at least get a refresh of Muppets 3D if they’re not going to give us a new ride/show.
I absolutely love how detailed that Tim is with the information he provides! Great job, Tim & Jenn(editing)....I know that Disney limits the amount of info that you can share with us, but (it seems) that everyone else that "covered" D23 only talked about what they saw/heard instead of showing us....I greatly appreciated your attention to details when it comes to your content, Tim! I’m so excited that the tracker family now has a Lug bag. I discovered them about 4 or 5 years ago and I love their bags. The dedicated cell phone pocket on all their bags makes it worth it. They have soft lined, clear view, rfid, key fobs, insulated pockets. They build water bottle holders into some of their bags. Plastic lines toiletry bags. So many options.
Yeah the bag is really great, I think we're going to use it as a diaper bag! It has a place for everything!

So excited to see Lug get this exposure! I have been a “LugNut” for YEARS, they are such a great little company. I have more than a hundred of their bags ❤ So happy for them!
They are very functional! I love their purses but the two totes we have, similar to what the Lug rep demonstrated in blue, are a bit heavy when empty, so we tend not to use them.

Central/South America would be a PERFECT place for Emperor's New Groove stuff. I know it's not as popular as Encanto or Indy, but we can hope right?

I remain firmly on the point that Zootopia has no place in DAK because the movie is focused on problems within the human world portrayed by animal characters while as Tim said, the story of DAK is all about animal conservation

I'm happy with most announcements! they gave us a lot to think about and look forward to. always nice seeing nick in the vlog - nick is known to love pretty much everything so it was surprising to hear he isn't a fan of the muppets!!
Is it too much to hope for a new Muppets ride? Like… please keep Muppetvision3D, but I’d love some kind of moving ride like Runaway Railway except through different scenes or sketches from the Muppet Show by way of a Bunsen Honeydew time machine that goes haywire.
I am hoping for a Rock n' Rollercoaster retheme to Muppets Mayhem.

I grew up watching illuminations since my family and I always stayed at the Epcot resorts and o loved harmonious when I saw it on my trip last year, so I’m excited at the potential for luminous to be a combination of the two!

When they mentioned the area in Magic Kingdom past Thunder Mountain they said their ideas were going into “overdrive”. They kept saying it was a big space. I wonder if they’ll do a Cars Land like they have at DCA?
So many exciting things happening at Disney....there are a couple of things I'm not too thrilled about but maybe once they're done I'll have different feelings. I loved seeing the Muppets ❤. I am looking forward to seeing the new Epcot fireworks show even though Harmonious will always have my heart. Those Lug bags look awesome...Definitely will have to get one when they come out. My husband and I saved for two years after we got married to be able to stay at Disney for a week and a half at Pop; if we had stayed at a moderate, we would have only been able to stay a half-week. We’d love to go back, but with the prices, we’d either have to stay off-site (even though we loved staying in the bubble) or a staycation…

I’m really happy to see the muppets involved in this. Obviously I wish Disney would actually do more with them and make legitimate muppets content, but I’m hoping this is a sign that Disney is more comfortable with the using the muppets. I’m happy seeing Dave Goelz on stage, since he’s the last member of the original muppet performers that worked with Jim Henson. I’m begging Disney to involve him more creatively. The muppets have been so cheated, disrespected, and cast aside by Disney. They have had the opportunity for years to create great muppet content, but they’ve largely dropped the ball. I’m definitely getting my hopes up too much, but I hope this is a sign that the muppets will get some more love in the near future. But I’m not holding out hope.

Lighthouse Point is the Disney-owned portion of a larger island called Eleuthera whereas Disney owns the entire island called Castaway Cay.
Tim, that was the ice monster from Elsa's castle not a marshmellow guy.
For the Lighthouse point I think the difference is that Disney owns the whole island for Castaway Cay but they only own the plot of land at lighthouse point there are other things on the island so I think Tim was right that that’s what it was called when they bought it and the new name is Disney’s name for it.
I hope they do half encanto and half indiana jones, that concept arts look like, encanto is the main thing

So new country bears show, test track, figment is already in, dinosaur replaced, the americas land, hatbox ghost, zootopia show, and the new nighttime show. That’s really it I guess.
People seem to have this thing that Animal Kingdom is specifically about conservation, and yes it’s a part of it. But, the park is called Animal Kingdom, it’s about animals.
The opening day speech: Welcome to a kingdom of animals… real, ancient and imagined: a kingdom ruled by lions, dinosaurs and dragons; a kingdom of balance, harmony and survival; a kingdom we enter to share in the wonder, gaze at the beauty, thrill at the drama, and learn.
Because there has been an over 50% decline in wildlife worldwide over the past couple of decades it makes the conservation message so important. Dinosaur fits the theme as they’re ancient animals, Pandora fits because both attractions focus on the imagined animals of the films. I just would prefer they refurbish Dinoland remove Hestor and Chester’s and focus on the Dino Institute instead, have walk around dinos and animatronic enclosures.
Tropical Americas is great as it is a missing part of the world, but Encanto and Indiana Jones do not fit, not even a little. I do want the Tropical America area, but I really want them to keep Dinoland or at least part of it.
I agree with most of your comment except for the dinosaurs part as its too close to being similar to Universals Jurassic Park and relevant theme
@@lmaree200886 I mean dinosaurs do fit the theme since they are part of the opening day speech. They could do it differently to Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure. And let’s face it, it’s not like both brands don’t have relative copies of each other in the parks. I do feel it’s important to honour the opening day speech, but I’ll see what they do with the new land. It might be awesome.
@@Monkeyboy1138 They can't do a safari ride in a 4WD, bus or a water ride as those are what Universal have in some way. The current Dinosaurs ride was the only option for Disney but yeah, its getting pretty outdated now and needs new modern and more relevant theming (also new animatronic technology and new species) or it'd be better to just get rid of it if they can't be bothered to update it.
@@lmaree200886 they could do some a variation of the Spider-Man/Transformers mechanism, dark ride, something like Rise of the Resistance/Ratatouille/Runaway Railway. Doesn’t have to be in a traditional vehicles, could still be a Time Machine or on the back of a dinosaur. Plenty of options.
I agree. I do not see where Indiana Jones would fit. Encanto I'm on the fence with.

Sad to see, "It's Tough To Be A Bug," show, and really the whole, "Dino-Rama," thing fall by the wayside, as I got the opportunity to work in Animal Kingdom, from April of 2005 till November of 2006, At, "TTBAB," and pretty much all attractions in Dino-Land except the, "Dinosaur," ride, so now ALL the attractions I've ever worked at there are pretty much going away, in one felled swoop, and thus with them, the bulk of the memories I have of my time working there. Makes me sad.
