Never really knew who Shawley was or what his business was all about. But I’m glad I found him. This is amazing real person with raw emotions. No matter how much his company is worth or how much he spends I have mad respect for this man as a human. Makes me want to support him long term to see where he goes.
Great podcast. You can tell how much Shawey truly cares about his team of employees and wants them to succeed along with himself. That’s true leadership in a company. I’ve never bought from Inaka but always thought about it but he sold me on this podcast.
You can tell the part of the dad conversation triggers Shawley’s feelings of anxiety. All in all great episode. Maxx is so great at conversation & asking questions. Proud of both you guys for the success seeing the growth over the years is awesome & inspiring . Got my support always 💯👏🏻

Love the poddy! One recommendation I'd make is that when you edit them, add pics or video clips of some of the things you're talking about. Like a small box with the picture of what you're discussing. For example, a picture of Inaka knee sleeves, or the Mutant Ape that Shawley owns or his profile picture he was using.

Idk if I always loved his “flexing” with some of his money.. but then hearing how he believes in celebrating with his staff (now 150k is ridiculous), but I totally agree that a nice dinner with the crew that made it possible is pretty cool. I’m sure they would all prefer a check lol, but that’s just not always realistic.
If it’s genuine, that’s the right mentality to have imo. They are worth it.
Money can be given. It’s a write off just like a business party. A yacht party doesn’t pay thr mortgage but hopefully Shaw let provides bonuses
