I'm off to buy shred string. You have a real find in Brigit. Each of her videos is a gem. Thank you!!!
Thank you! :)
Thank you!!
Cool
Wow!!!!!
Another great video, and again, thank you! I imagine this would work with any fibre that can be teased, cotton wool for example, or knitting wool. I may have a reel of gardening string in the junk room that I call my shed...time to tidy, maybe? 😃
Go for it girl...👏🥴🤭
@@janerochfort2134 Shameful confession coming up. I moved from a quite big house to a teeny bungalow last March, just before first lockdown. My lovely friends helped me greatly, it couldn't have been managed without them. Trouble is, I still don't know where half my crafting stuff has been put. I'd totally forgotten about the gelli plates until the video popped up, and it's brilliant to see it again, plus your encouragement, so I'll go digging today and see what's where. Thanks! 🤩
Wonderful effects, keep up the great videos (not sure Videos is the correct word). Love your work!
WOW Birgit wat gaaf!
Wilde dat ik iets meer tijd had om het direct uit te proberen!
Maar ga t zeker snel een keer doen!
Ja leuk he?! Maar je hebt wel een beetje tijd nodig hoor want als je begint is er geen houden meer aan :D
Wow, what an awesome effect, must pin this, thanks so much!!! 👍
👏👏👏👏👏
They turned out beautifully and looked really fun to make which is the point of learning this skill. 🙂
Does it need to be hemp threads or will any fiber batting work?
I thought at first that you were pulling apart cotton or polyester batting.
Great tutorial - I love the effect! However, the white subtitle captions are hard to read against the light background of the video. Black would contrast better. Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback! It's always a hard choice whether to use white or black depending of the colors in the video. I will explore some more options for the next video! But happy you enjoyed the tutorial :)
I've read that white outlined in black can be read on anything.
Debbie G that is true!
I was wondering if you could useyarn or embordedy floss instead of hemp
Bijzonder mooi!! hoe heet het touw in nederlands? Bedankt!
Fun, cool, and pretty!
I don't have hemp but have lots of thread and some cotton yarn I could try to card.
I bet hair would work too and would be a good use for all the pet hair collecting on everything for you furbaby owners. ;-)
Hair brushes for human.
beautifull, what paper did you need
I used 200gr white cardstock but you can also use watercolor paper, or any other paper really, just try what works for you :)
I tried this and my first print turned out great. The following ones were a fail. Couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong.
Would this work on polymer clay
Could you do the text in black?
I had a lot of fun with this but the jute strands seem to have left permanent lines on my plate😢. Any suggestions?
How do I get the hemp thread so fluffy?
Janice Stamos i just pulled it apart, did nothing special with it. Maybe it depends on the kind of hemp rope you have.
White letters hard to read 😕
