    Dehaka's Primal Contender boosts the power level and reduces the cooldowns of his top bar abilities, at the cost of only allowing one of the pack leaders or Dehaka to be on the field. To maximize this, I focus on rushing out and controlling the pack leaders.

    Love your content CTG but for this prestige if you take the duration you basically turn dehaka into an Akhundelar fenix... You can practically always have one up and they are so tanky you can basically power your way to your end game dehaka army build and have this monster on the other side of the map. Its pretty decent and super easy split pushing not mechanically hard but with deep tunnel too and just because dehaka gets the essence from the pack leader easy to level him up. In addition you can just play dehaka recklessly when you get him up to high levels and use a pack leader as a free health bar alternate.
    I highly recommend you try this with a pack leader centred build particularly with your second mastery. See what you think... I think a full investment into duration might be unnecessary but even a half half split the pack leaders becomes something rather special and even the ones that are not Glevic don't suck.

      2 year late, but I disagree. The thing about pack leader duration is you only get an extra 18 seconds with them out. whereas with primal worm you can reduce their cooldown from around 130 to 45 seconds. Primal wurms can be great for engaging the enemy and helping with extra tanking and good for detection.

    Yeah, Mutalisks are pretty good all-round units, but so are Tyrannozors, although this might be a little short map for them. I remember telling you on your stream that you should have used Creepers instead of Primal Hosts on TOTP against Baneling/Scourge, but kinda forgot that Tyrannozors exist at the time . Tyrannozors melt baneling/scourge & are convincingly the best option against that comp.

    2nd base , no need, Primal Contender is enough.

    Tip, stay away from killing too many enemies near the void thrasher at the beginning, or you trigger the thrasher to spawn early. Same on rifts, the rift will spawn early

      Rifts spawn when previous set is destroyed, not if you kill enemies around them & they don't do damage (except those stun balls), so the faster you can destroy them or clean the enemies guarding them, the better!

      They do spawn. It’s nice to clear the last area before they have storm tho.

    why not primal leaders duration? i feel like since theyre stronger its better than wurms no?

    • @zwethiha9699
      @zwethiha9699 Před 3 lety +2

      it's probably for the detection that the pack leaders don't have and how the cooldown is low enough that he can just cycle through all the pack leaders since he can only have one out at a time, it's kinda useless

    • @TheSlick44y
      @TheSlick44y Před 3 lety +2

      The answer is exactly that, removing dehaka completely removes detection and only greater worms provide that. The cool down is already much lower, and you can only have one out at a time
