People can spend $1000+ on a weave, $250 every time it has to be installed but $400 on a tool that can prevent YOUR hair from being damaged is too much? Poverty mindset is really bad

That’s is one of the most prejudiced thing to say! There are PLENTY of professional African Americans women who can afford to pay $1000 for a hair style without using their rent money and/or getting evicted! 🤮
As a matter of fact I managed a shelter and worked in the homeless sector for 14 years in Los Angeles, California and I can honestly say NOT ONE CLIENT PAID even $200 for the hair style resulting in them becoming evicted! 🤦‍♀️

I bought one I've had it for a year and it works excellent! My hair is shoulder-length I use tension on 7 and heat on High and my whole head is dry and straightened in 5 minutes! This is the best Appliance I have ever found! Once you learn how to use it it is extremely fast and efficient and the setup takes no time at all! I also braid my hair in 5 braids. I rub a little water on each braid and put it into the RevAir for about 20 seconds. I unbraided and wear my hair down and wavy all over! I love it! Simple and easy!

that's exactly why I finally gave in and purchased it (on sale). I have 4c hair and it sheds and breaks less when it's blow dried. If I'm going to be blow drying my head 2+ times a month, I would pay for something that gives me the stretch with less manipulation and heat damage. I always have breakage when I use a brush and regular blow dryer so I'm looking forward to seeing how this helps reduce that. You also have 30 days to try it out. I don't think that this investment is for everyone, but if you struggle with other options then this may be an option for you.

Just give me the hand dryer I got things to do lol. Takes to long. Seems like it works. Definitely need to protect the hair with heat guard or something.

Good product and price for professional stylists but for people on budgets that still need something extra for help, the Revlon One (H)air Brush would probably work as well.

I think it did a great job blowdrying your shorter hair. Looks as if you need your ends clipt. Also, remember to use a heat protectant when blowdrying. I like the blowdryer, just cannot see me paying $400 for an appliance that probably only has a 1yr warranty. Wish it was not so bulky, took up less space & price would go down by $300.

right now it is $299 and comes with a few other items as part of a Black Friday deal. But I purchased the Revlon one with the flat brush for $19 with a $5 coupon through Ulta, so I got for $14. Many reviews say it's hotter temp wise but I plan to use a heat protectant. I have long 4c,z hair and while I am concern about the panel brush part of the Revlon my coins are not that long for Revair just yet. I am considering it for time sake but that's an income tax item not an I live in the real with bills item.

Why spend $400 on a blow dryer that gives you the same result as a $30 Red by Kiss? I say that as a person who doesn't blow dry that often and I wear my natural hair in a bun. My hair is chest level or upper middle back length so it's not so long I can't handle blow drying. It just seems like a waste of money for me, maybe if my hair grows longer. Someone mentioned having a poor mindset if you don’t want to purchase this monstrosity. I see it as prioritizing your dollars. I can afford a million-dollar home but also complain about Walmart charging 5 cents for a plastic bag. It's the principle.

  • @SD-qt6ix

That thing sounds like a 747. 😳 If you did not have a headache before you used it you should have one afterwards.
Obviously this would not be a good buy for someone who has problems with their arms, shoulders, or backs. I have to also wonder if long-term use would create traction alopecia. It does not look like it will pull hard but for anyone who has used it I would be interested in knowing if it does.
It looks like a good idea but I think maybe they should have gone back to the drawing board before they released it. Just my opinion. If you own one & love it, I'm truly happy for you.
