My daughter is super tender headed. I invested in one of these a couple of years ago and I tell everyone that it is the best hair product I have ever purchased. There would be no way for me to blow-dry her hair with a regular dryer without a waterfall of tears.
What products do you use, I can't even do my daughter's hair that often.. I tried the marshmallow root, but now it don't work, I'm lost on spending money on products that don't work. Her hair is so tight it don't even seem like it get wetđȘđȘđȘ
Thanks for sharing!
as someone who grew up tenderheaded its genuinely so touching to know there's mothers out there who care about their child's comfort while doing hair. most of the time my mom would just rip the comb thru my hair n yell at me to stop crying T_T
@@nessmarie6044 Or say, "It hurts to be beautiful."
Same here. My daughter is extremely tender headed and this definitely was worth the investment.
I've had the original RevAir for a few years now and it's great especially for children and people who like to dry and stretch the hair before braiding.
Facts!
Not a lot of heat damage?
@@p.a.h8215 Using a heat protectant is always recommended but I have not seen any heat damage from this dryer for the following reasons. 1) the RevAir dries the hair faster than traditional hair dryers so exposure to heat is decreased. 2) This dryer uses less heat than traditional hair dryers. 3) Much less tugging, combing or brushing through the hair than with traditional hair dryers so less breakage.
@@p.a.h8215 I also have the original revair for a couple years now and I donât have any heat damage. My hair come out cool but dry and straight. Doesnât feel dried out like regular blow dryer.
@@shelleygaither8410 how does it work with 4c hair
I love how gentle you are with detailing your client's hair. A lot of stylist don't understand tender headedness and just be ripping your hair out
Right. Now I rip it out on my own.đ

Itâs so damn expensive but Iâve been wanting this for years. I think this would really help me get a grasp on maintains healthy hair đą
Can we talk about how healthy her ends are as you straightened her hair with the dryer đ€Żđ€Żđ€Ż Iâm impressed by her hair maintenance in the curly state as I am with the dryer! My friend used her Rev Air on my long, kinky 4b/c hair and it works just the same on mine as this texture. This dryer is worth the coins
I was going to say that her ends are beautiful! The issue with the regular hair dyers is worrying about the comb attachment damaging the ends. I might have to invest and get me a rev air if my ends will be saved.
To get the roots really straight, I put the nozzle all the way up against my scalp and slide it around!! I have the first version and itâs definitely helped me reach bootycrack length hair đđ
Yesssss bootycrack!!! đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
I do the same. I'm male and now I can braid my hair with my bootycrack hairs in one long continous line đ€·ââïžđ€
wow - how often do you use the RevAir on your hair?
Can you use this on long hair??
@@tamlynn786 my hair is over 2 feet long and I use it no problem! Just make sure itâs thoroughly detangled first đ
Iâm a Irish girl with very frizzy different level curl hair . That is fine but very thick , just a giant mess . Curly girl world! Amazing what the right methods and products can do. I put on my non Black friends with awesome curls to this channel to get better blowouts, how to press hair, get silky defined curls and how to keep their hair healthy.
Save up and invest in one. My teenage granddaughter borrowed mine, dried her hair and the wrapped it, and the next day she was walking around like a celebrity đ
Heyy, i live in Dublin and have the dryer, hit me up if you want to talk about using it
Hello! My stylist recently dried my hair this way. It was amazing! I never felt any discomfort of heat or pulling. Loved it! And I love what you bring to your channel. Thank you!
Thanks for this conment!comment!! And thanks for watching!
I've seen this dryer around but it's nice to get the perspective from a professional cosmetologist. If you plan to do more tests with this dryer, I would be curious to see if it delivers a true "silk" press. As always, thanks for sharing your talents with us and your perspective on this dryer. Stay blessed....
Thank you! You as well!
Yes silk press with this please
If you check out the channel Simply Tamika, you can see Tamika (a licensed cosmetologist) achieve a silk press using the revair for the blow dry. She probably had the best revair tutorial i've found throughout all these years. She even made a video showing the results on different textures and curl patterns. Definitely check out her channel!
@@alyariel9713 Thanks!
@@alyariel9713 Yes I bought one after seeing it Tamikaâs tutorials. Everyone kept on complaining and saying it doesnât get the hair straight or roots straight enough but they were just doing it wrong. @revair needs to give Tamika a check and have her do some tutorials for them.
When I was a child my mother had bought a fancy vacuum cleaner and one of the features was that it was also a hair dryer. When it stopped working she searched to find another with that option but could not find one. As soon as I saw the Revair I knew how it worked and bought one. My hair is fine and very kinky and it eliminates me having fairy knots which causes my hair to tangled and break off. It's also supper fast, and reduces a lot of stress on my hair. I give it đđŸ
Yesss! I love this story!
Drucilla why do I remember this product, not sure where though.
Itâs basically a vacuum.
@@sexyscorpio8571 This vacuum cleaner was being sold by door-to-door salesman in the mid 1950's. We didn't know about the hot air hand blow dryers at that time. I remember how well it did the job and how we really missed it when it stopped functioning and couldn't replace it.
@@TracyD2 Yes but it had a specific setting and an additional hose and nozzle for drying the hair by suction.
We love ours! I bought it my youngest child and it was the key in the lock for drying all of their hair. When the new model came out, I got it, just for a little more compact & easier on my arms use. I absolutely love it, I used to allow the youngest hair to air dry because it was too much work. Once I got this, hair drying has been a breeze.
This dryer DELIVERS!!!! I got one a couple months ago and it totally changed the game. Best investment I've ever made for my hair. đđœââïž
Totally agree!
Are you kidding me???? I have been a hairstylists for 45 years and I have never seen a tool that works this well on curly hair.
Amazing results and I love your video! Thank you for posting!
My daughter is in her thirties now, I wish they had this when she was a little girl, she is still traumatized when I bring up wash day for her, it hurt so badly to inflict pain on my child but we didn't have these good products and tools back then. I am tenderheaded and she is ten times more tender headed than i.
I remember those wash days. I'm another lender-head.
I just got mine a month ago and Iâm shook x 10. It feels like some kind of black magicâŠItâs been a lifesaver for doing me and my daughters hair. Itâs worth every penny. No friction, no raking.. no smoking hair . Iâm low key kind of jealous though you got a color comb that wasnât available when I got mine :/
Reminds me of when the home hand-held blow dryers got really big in the 70s. Going from the old "bubble hood" hair dryer where you had to sit still forever to just drying and styling in one was so exciting for us. This looks like an excellent tool.
Iâve had mine for 4 years now. For about 3 of those years Iâve used RevAir every 2 weeks. For the last 18 months I also added a silk press every other wash.
Absolutely NO heat damage. My hair was almost bra strap length and very damaged about 18 months ago from frequent tight buns so every month I trimmed my ends and this past January I cut the last 3 inches of damage off.
Now my hair is back to bra strap length. Healthier than itâs EVER been. I very rarely have single strand knots, split ends, or breakage. And I KNOW itâs Because I keep my hair stretched with Rev Air. I find that my hair also retains moisture better in itâs stretched state.
I still have the old school RevAir. I use the Highest tension with the highest heat (cool shot for 5 seconds after its dry).
Hey! I've had mine since 2020 (first version) and i love it. I do a cool shot after each section (my hair is in the 4c spectrum, high density, medium to fine strands, low porosity). The cool shot really helps after i use the low or high heat setting. I vary between the 6 and 7 tension settings (i use #6 and low heat to just stretch my hair out to prep for a natural style, and #7 with 30 sec on high, then 30sec on low when i plan on using a hot tool after). If I'm not using a hot tool afterwards i make my sections bigger, about 8. If i am using a hot tool after, about 12 sections. U can use smaller sections if ur hair is less dense. Anyone looking to buy it black Friday is the best sale of the year because u can get all the extra stuff like the bag and clips for a better price. AND you can put it on a payment plan. There is a year warranty on it but I've had mine for almost 3 years with no problems. Just make sure u use a heat protectant on the hair, detangle and you're good to go!
Also it's great drying for locks, extensions and wigs!
Great review! Iâm so happy to see a stylist excited about the care of their clients natural hair ! I was waiting to see if a stylist would try it! You are awesome !

It was the combo I didnât know I needed.
This is no coincidence that your video came into my Recommendations! I have thick wavy hair and when my hair grows long it takes more time to blow dry AND style. This definitely seem like a game changer and I am about to place my order right now! It will make a great X-Mas gift for myself.đ

Awesome Iâve watched tons of reviews. Stunning especially, if oneâs a stylist I can see it helping with the hand and healthy for clients.
My sister has one and I've driven an hour to go to her house after a wash day to use her rev air. It's awesome for drying and stretching your hair pre-styling. Plus, you don't have to use heat!
The customer service alone makes it worth it. I love my Revair! It has helped me with my retention. It doesnât take a long time to dry my entire head. I use smaller sections with heat protectant on the highest setting for 10-15 sec apiece. I have âeverybody wants king fu fightingâ 4c hair. My hair will fight you and me but it behaves for Revair.
