    Well, another top vlog off Darren, this guy is head and shoulders above others I have seen on Pattaya, no silly music, great conversation that is clear and always unbiased, covers off all budgets and not like some where you know they are being sponsored and just saying it’s good for the benefit, if it’s good he says so, if it’s not he says so.
    One major point for me is whenever he takes you to a venue, hotel or tourist trap he videos everything, nice wide angle and for me, an amputee, it’s great to see all the possible hazards, it says on lots of sites there is a hotel and I have been caught out in the past, Darren shows you, great stuff.
    The first place for the price and location is amazing.
    Well done Darren, fab as usual 👍

    Very great prices Daz.
    I really like all of them, I also think they would be good to Rent for a few months or a year and really take my time deciding on another place to permanently call home.
    I think the last one is my fave The elevator and balcony were the deciding factors. I have good investments savings and a pension when I move there the rent will be a nominal bill, UNLIKE my overpriced home country.

  • @user-dx2sh3fp9o
    @user-dx2sh3fp9o Před 6 měsíci +6

    Cool Daz, the first seems nice because elevator and high floor, well located, frankly for the price you have to be difficult to complain, for those who like luxury it can at a pinch be used as an apartment to meet girls without exposing the main

      I agree if these places are girl friendly. I will have a nicer place for my main house and use one of these really inexpensive places for boom boom. I've been to some ST rooms that were not acceptable. I like the proximity to Big C and a kitchen. THANKS AGAIN!!

  • @GerardoTrilobites
    @GerardoTrilobites Před 6 měsíci +2

    Love the first one, with proper kitchen , the only big problem is the noise. The rooms at the noise side of the building have the good thing to be on the cold side , never direct sun, great for reduce your electric bill at the end month. BIG C extra, with that food court just 150 Mts away. The second one, the cheaper, looks very good location for the price, too, Also room very good size . Beautiful and friendly woman in the last one, interesting decoration inside the rooms, very testy condos, with washing machines down stairs. Perfect! Thanks Daz.

    You could live comfortably with everything you need if you rented that place and only spend $1,000 USD per month.
    That’s absolutely insane to imagine with the cost of living in the west. You’d get a slum unit and Kraft dinner and mr noodles for every meal and likely spend more then that in the west

    Seems like iCon Place rents out like an Air B&B so they are bit greedy, plus being next to 2 major roads, its not a great location, you will hear traffic day and night 7 days a week.
    The last place is best, but if you are going to stay long term a good Mattress investment is worthwhile, health or see you wealth disappear.
    Excellent video Daz as always

    Great video as usual. I know you hate the idea of buying a condo but like myself having lived in Pattaya and loved it and will return to live forever; I always price the rent over 20 years (possibly my entire life) and I found if you pay over 5K baht per month you will end up paying over 1,200,000 baht over your life and live in a minimal room paying high electric and water bills. Of course we know that 5K is low and will most likely be raised during high season and if your lease happens to come up during high season. I will be limited for sure with money especially if inflation continues. What’s your opinion about long term living when you look at the expenses as I pointed out. Thanks for all the work you do to help us. 👍🏼

      Make sure you buy a proper mattress my friend or you will be going to the doctors. A proper mattress would be 3 to 6 months rent but will assure you good health and saving your wealth on the long run, this might make sense if you plan to live in one of these places very long term, dont think the landlord would get excited to buy you one though.

    There’s one common denominator that’s critical, and it applies from 5K to 55K per month. How engaging and interested are the staff.? Good owners pay well to get good people. When you are living there it’s the staff who make the real difference. Because a Condo is a Condo no matter where it is or what you pay 🙂

    Daz, how about showing where these places are on a map? And could you please give us a sense of direction like which way towards the beach, what proximity is this hotel to Soi Buckou?

      The first one , when he points the camera at big c extra, which is on pattaya klang (central pattaya rd) go in the direction of big c and soi buakhao (soi 13) is 700 yards away on same side as hotel..continue on that rd 250 yards more n you at the beach.. 2nd one is just round corner of first one..3rd room is soi 10/1 off 3rd rd coming from central pattaya rd.. They are all pretty much same distance to bech n Buakhao..

      If you look below any condo video, you will always see the GPS locations of each place, just copy the location then paste it into Google maps, and the exact location pops up, easy.

      @@quemalcy …You’re missing the point. That being that 1) we’re trying to avoid having to figure out all the bearings you went to all the trouble to (so kindly) point out. And 2) a simple screen shot of a map would do all of this for us, and do it every single time. Not just like the one time you (again,so kindly) described for us.
      Much appreciated though.

    How do you keep the refrigerator running when you take the key out of the wall slot? And the a/c running?

      @everythingPattaya  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The fridge is wired permanently, so it doesn't go off, not so, the A/C that does go off.

    I like your content but wish you can show a map of the place in your video in order to orient oneself. The first place sounded good, will look it up. I just with Thai government would loosen up their standards for farang to live there in retirement. 1yr by 1yr is not that great ... especially with all the loopholes and BS involved with local bank accounts
