I am always very impressed with how clean the apartments, buildings, and outdoor spaces are.
Its Definatley not like the USA.
First studio - and Vee - both are absolutely great.
My wife and I stayed in CCR (the third studio block) last winter for five months. Excellent room on 8th floor, not as poor as the one you showed on the ground floor. Mind you, the corridor outside the room you showed is used by everybody in the building, as it is a shortway to get out directly if you are walking up to the Buakhao area. So it could be annoying to hear footsteps all day and night.
Our room on the top floor was the same size but another layout. Everything was so perfect that we booked next winter for six months. But it is like the girls said, this place is very sought after, and it can be difficult to find a room available when you want it.
They each have their merits. The 1st one is well appointed and I like how you can fold away the bed. The 2nd one has great space and an excellent sofa, very important! The 3rd one is plain, but in a quiet area with a nice view of greenery from the balcony. Keep 'em coming :)

I liked the layout of the first one better everything packed in a small space. I liked the set up of the gym, sauna, steam room at the City centre residence. I noticed the pool mostly stays in the shade because of the condo buildings. The pool is better at the City garden. Both are walking distance to the Soi Buakao area.
I stayed at this property for 14 days back in late February. It was a cool place, but my particular unit was very crappy, to put it politely.

Very nice place city centre residence stayed there 4 or 5 years ago pool is very good and gym too only thing wrong was the distance from soi baukhua especially in rainy season because the roads around there were flood and had to get taxis
First and second one look good. I do not like 2 months deposit. Real Estate companies come on. It means you need to come up with 3 months including your 1st month payment up front? Ridiculous.

Lived in Malta as a child and one of the things I remember clearly even though it was 50 years ago and before AC was having to peel yourself off the leather sofa when you wanted to leave it, as the back of your legs would stick to it!
Really enjoy these condo reviews, especially as Vee and Fern seem WAY less annoying than the estate agents...realtors.... not sure which is appropriate to use in Thailand.. Than I use when I'm moving!

yes it is amazing how nice these condo's are for such a very reasonable price if you compare this to the phillipines it is day and night.. that is why i miss pattaya .. classy lovely lady in the red pants by the way!
I agree with others. First condo is small and the same price as my place in Chiang Mai @ 50 sm, but I liked it a lot. Steam room and sauna seem redundant in Thailand. :)

I liked the first condo too Daz over the other two. The layout was efficient without seeming claustrophobic and had everything I would need. The fold-up bed brought back memories from my childhood as I slept in one in an older cottage in California. Called a "Murphy's" bed they were very popular at one time in the USA. I seem to remember James Bond(Sean Connery) getting trapped in a "Murphy's" bed in Hong Kong in the movie "You Only Live Twice". Hopefully none of the ladies in Thailand would try and trap me in one😂
as you are not James Bond there is no risk to get trapped in that Murphy's bed....😂🤣

I would prefer a midsize 1 br condo , but I liked the first studio that you showed compared to the 2nd studio , it had a more spacious layout. although I like the pool layout better in the 2nd
I go #1 , don't need the larger #2 , #3 not as nice as #1 same price . Thanks for another Great video .
I decided on the City Center Residence. I got a great deal online at booking,, the only thing I noticed is that they charge 150 baht per day electricity and etc,, but, for the discount I got it all works out great. All included for about 24$ a day. I took it for 25 days and intent to stay in Pattay for 60 so I will be looking around. You mentioned gents clubs nearby,, I would like to know which ones? I see the famous Telephone bar isn't far away,, LOL

That folding out bed has a name ()Murphy Bed) I lived there (City Center Residence) last year for 9 months. Great location, I was paying 8000 a month
Good video, loved the 1st apt with the Murphy Bed, great space, I'd replace the existing mattress with a new pocket springs Matt and get rid of the couch. Now you have good open space for 6monthz to a year. What do Thai's have against bathtubs ? I dislike showers , no way to relax.

Hi Daz thanks for the great videos mate, just started watching them. Me and my Thai wife are looking for a condo in the Jomtien area for a month from around October 13th for 12000 to 13000 TB. Just wondered if you could recommend anywhere and got any tips as we've never rented one before. I've watched a few videos and messaged a few people but nobodys got back to us yet. Want to get it sorted before we leave the UK, thanks Craig
the only plus point on the first one is that the palm gives you shade on the balcony
some of the units at city garden are top notch. lovely redwood looking doors and cabinets very nicely done. Some people are more photogenic than others thats a fact when ur sitting at alan bolton at ferns desk looking at her shes really fantastic looking also just like the other girls weve had from alan bolton. That guy at 17:58 probably had some dynamite VODKA u shoulda stopped and had a nip with him 🥴

You're not kidding air fare prices have been high for long time not sure if or when they will drop.
First one tiny but practical and cheap for that location. Ideal for a single guy, it’s all you need. Looks a nice Condo, be even better when they sort out road on Soi 15
That’s a great looking gym but like a hot workout, and pool in the second looked great.
Location wise not far from the action. First studio wins hands down for me for same money.
Hard to believe they are busy unless it’s Chinese or Indian visitors as the place is dead apart from those.

It looks like you get more for the money in the first building. In the first you get a refrigerator and a washer I didn’t see a refrigerator in the second building.

Dustin Park 2 has 36sq M 1 bedrooms for 10K…brand new with washer…I looked at city gardens n felt Jomtien was the deal. Wifi is high speed 👍
It’s also in the middle of nowhere and no where near the city centre so you are comparing apples and oranges.

Can you give us an idea or do a video, on whether you can get a better deal and by how much by securing in off season, paying a year upfront etc. in addition, for me personally, are the rates higher for pool access? Also can you do a video on dos and don’ts when using rental agents, or is it best to get that information on a chat group? Cheers!
You get the best deal by signing in Low Season for a year.
Never pay up front for a year, I know someone who had the condo sold from under him after 3 months and the new owner cut off the water to get him out.

Hiya Daz , i will be coming to thailand in about 10 to 12 weeks , and i was wondering in your experience what type of accommodation should i go for ,i will be there for about 3-4 weeks , you have whoen us sime really nice condos , hotels andnso on , the condos look amazing for the price especially with a pool and a gym , any advice you give would be greatly appreciated mate , also when i come over I'd like to meet up with you and have a drink if thats ok because you'll know about placesbi can go if a day on days out, thwnks for all your hard work
A Hotel or Condotel, regular condos don't want less than 6 months. Or Airbnb of course.
City garden for me.
Would like to see what you can get for arounf $500. The first studio was nice but a little small. The 2 br was very nice but a bit more than I would like to spend for rent.
I stayed in an Airbnb in CCR in April for 3 weeks, studio room. It's actually a great location, obviously there's the gents clubs right outside basically and it's 5 minutes walk to Buakhao. The wifi where I was was really bad, looks to be a whole of building wifi, as opposed to individual. The build quality of the unit I was in was poor, and the drain for the shower was very slow to clear, and I was on the third floor. The gym gets way too hot after about 11 O'clock, but the pool is lovely, the sauna is great, and as I said, the location is excellent. However, again, with these studios, why is the lounge always offset to the TV? The assumption is that everyone watches TV sitting/lying on the bed. Perhaps it's because the rooms are so small there isn't much choice! Still, I'd stay there again!

When real estate agents say they're really busy & that prices are rising, that's PR rather than info. It may or may not be true
I was there in May, longer stay places like condos are busy as there are loads of Russian currently. Hotels and short stay is dead, the lowest low season in memory!
I hate the key card to get into everything! That sucks to carry it around it’s a pain in the ass at every door!
The video was great. The first condo was nicer, I think. On the 2 bedroom condo, you didn’t show us the view from the balcony. In the first condo building, did they have any one bedroom condos? if so, what would be the price?
