    If you're still doing this series, I would love to see Tom Daugherty. I know he's not a 2-hander but I can see a lot of similarities in the general approach.

    Not PBA pros (yet) but I'd like to see Spencer Robarge, Ryan Barnes, and Justin Bohn eventually. Great video! Defintely gonna be watching them all the help my own game.

      Thank you!
      I'm going to do most, if not all of the new kids on the block.

    If at all possible can you included PAP location?

    • @BigSkyBowler
      @BigSkyBowler  Před rokem

      No way to really know these bowlers PAPs.
      However, in general, most two handers are over and down. Very rare to have over and up.

    • @sprocket454
      @sprocket454 Před rokem

      I'm 5" over and 3/4" up. One handed no thumb. Or at least I used to be. I physically can't do it anymore. Back to using my thumb for me.

    Shawn Maldonado is an interesting one. He has no backswing, is slow to the line, but can still generate decent speed.

      The Candy man is an interesting case. A decent two-hander but definitely not a powerful one. He makes it work tho!

    I see a lot of Ryan Barnes, yes please! But also would love Shawn Maldonado. Not every bowler can get down to the ground like these young guys

    • @BigSkyBowler
      @BigSkyBowler  Před rokem +1

      Very true! This is the biggest reason I'm doing these videos, to show people that there is not a one size fits all when it comes to two handing.
      There are certain things that must happen, bit it's definitely not a cookie cutter style.

    Let’s hear his pop when he releases it!

  • @rogalvara
    @rogalvara Před rokem +1

    After the 3rd step and stepping to the left, does he use a hop step to open up his hips and transitioning to the 4th step with the right foot? It feels weird/off balance for me

  • @canefan17
    @canefan17 Před rokem +2

    Is the 3rd step supposed to be the biggest for 2 handers?

    • @BigSkyBowler
      @BigSkyBowler  Před rokem +1

      In many cases, the third step (just prior to the stutter step) is usually quite large to increase speed just prior to release.

    • @canefan17
      @canefan17 Před rokem +2

      @@BigSkyBowler and it usually involves stepping off to the left to get the hips open, correct? I know Troup is probably an exception.
      Couple other 2 handers that might be worth analyzing..
      Shawn Maldonado
      Chris Barnes kid
      Bella Love Castillo

    • @BigSkyBowler
      @BigSkyBowler  Před rokem +2

      Correct, it involves a step left to open the hips and get out of the way of the swing.
      Planning on Ryan Barnes for certain. Maldonado is likely next.
      Definitely going to cover Bella at some point, very impressive bowler.

    Great vid! Can you do Ryan Barnes @barnzybowling next? He started making CZcams content featuring his dad
    He's got my favorite 2-handed style since he can generate about 500-600 revs at 20-22mph

    • @BigSkyBowler
      @BigSkyBowler  Před rokem +1
