Our Role in Space - Military Satellites, 1977, USAF, HD Remaster

Restored USAF documentary from 1977 about its various space-related activities - Space Transportation System (Space Shuttle), Defense Meteorological Satellite System (DMSP), Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS), LES 8 and 9, Satellite Surveillance, etc.
The video was remasted to improve color balance and stability. AI upscale (Topaz AI) was used to resample the video to full HD resolution. While it works in most cases, some artifacts are present in some sequences.
Sound and image cleanup, AI upscale and color restoration by RetroSpace HD.

I don't know what it is about these old films that makes them so interesting.
Like the old space shorts on Gemini and Apollo etc.
I watch a lot of NASA TV but their new videos just don't hold my attention. And i wish they would upgrade the quality of their older films for broadcast.

Are u from USA ? I am from Russia , I have a lot old films and translate a lot more 500 on Russian. You right,because they were made with soul, and new films do not reflect anything, they have no attraction because the soul is not invested in them
