Did I miss something that you think is cheap and delicious? Let your fellow CZcamsrs know! What's YOUR favorite cheap eat on on the Las Vegas Strip?
One of the best videos about the Las Vegas food places.
+neil young Thanks Neil!
yea, you missed the part about being cheap
Bradly C dam bradly stay your ass in kentucky if you're trying to pay less than 5 for food
when your meals start costing $20, then buffets can be had at those prices
You missed the best deal on the strip. Ocean One Grille at miracle mile. Lunch menu with about 20 items for $4.99. Salmon , chicken wings, burgers, burritos, steak, salads, wraps, etc. Not to mention 3 for 1 alcoholic drinks for $10 bucks. And not just the wells. Grey goose, patron etc. I know it sounds too good to be true but I work on the strip and this is where a lot of us go for lunch.
+Dutch3k5 A Sounds good! I'll check it out for sure!
Just there last month and it’s the best deal on the strip. Good food and drinks.
Thanks. I'll be sure to go there next time I'm in Vegas.
yes the also have 3for 1 drink specials, lunch and dinner. one of my fav places
That place has awesome food, great prices and drinks on the cheap too. We had 2 appetizers, $4.99 each, wonderful entries and my fiance had a couple drinks during lunch and they made her a drink to go when we left. Paid $50 bucks and enjoyed the Ocean One Grille with plans to return next trip to town.
Thank u for this vid. Haven't been in Las Vegas over 2 yrs. Alot if new stuff to check out. Next week!
Thank you for this!! Can you do an updated one? Perhaps hidden places or newer places too! Thanks for your videos!!!
Next time I am in Vegas I will! :)
Great list. It’s called “the best” cheap eats. Not the cheapest eats. For people complaining about this review. He keeps it very honest which is why I like his vids.
How about 2 bucks for hot dog and a beer at Stage Door behind the Cromwell.
Or $7 steak dinner # Ellis Island on Flamingo& Koval. .
$12.95 seafood buffet at Fremont Casino has stone crab 🦀🦀🦀
jim crabtrey $12.95 Stone Crab can not be beat as far as great cheap food.
I'm going to Vegas this weekend & this video was super helpful! Thank you! Also love your bubbly personality ☺
Another great video, learning lots!!
Mr. Luckys 24/7 restaurant at The hard rock hotel has an awesome “off the menu” deal. Ask for the gamblers special. It’s $7.77 for a 6oz steak, 3 shrimps and 2 sides of your choice. Very cheap for a restaurant!
Great tip!
I’m pretty sure they discontinued that. They got tired of people complaining about the quality of the steak.
@Lloyd Bonafide do you need to sign up for a players card to get that deal?
If you want a good cheap buffet in the Fremont Street area check out Main Street Station. Went there for breakfast and dinner both had a good selection and the food was tasty and hot. Breakfast was $8 and they can make your omelettes and other eggs to order, the chef who does the eggs in the week is really nice and has a good sense of humor. The Champagne brunch was $12!! It had an excellent selection of food and the Mimosas are fantastic.
+Caring Lady $8 Breakfast buffet. That's a pretty good deal!
@Caring Lady Yes! Main Street Station buffet and Aloha Specialties at The California are both great.
Great tip thanks im going to visiting there in April so I'll try it out.
Caring Lady I love it there too! Great price.
Hey Chris! I’m heading to Vegas from Ireland this Summer with my partner for a week. I’ve never been before and I just found your channel this week and thank god I did! Love your videos and tips! Thanks so much for the information! It will come in so handy for our holiday! 😊😊😊
+Rachel Horrigan Awesome.. thanks Rachel! I hope you enjoy! As a side note.. I enjoy the rolling Green hills and sheep in Ireland. I know that has nothing to do with Vegas but I just wanted to share :)
Hi Chris! Just wanted to say thank you for making these Vegas videos. I am going for my 3rd time next month with my gf and looking to do some exploring/eating/poking around and your videos are helping me come up with a game plan. Keep up the good work and safe travels!
Thanks Daniel!
Beautiful place very good thank you for sharing your beautiful food enjoy your holiday there
We're literally going to Vegas next week! This will come in handy!! 😄
+TimeForTheSeraPhun Glad the timing worked out! Enjoy your trip!
Good luck J450N-12!
Nice video!! Good recommendations!
I found Chris' video (actually this one and several of the others for Vegas) to be very helpful! I was able to avoid many of the scams in Vegas, and enjoyed some good cheap eats (ate at PH Earl of Sandwich twice with the 2 for 1 coupon). Thanks for helping us out Chris!
Awesome! Thanks B BB!
Your Vegas Review vids are the BEST !! The only problem with this one is...….11:25 you made me hungry !! Keep up the great HD presentation and editing
Aww.. thanks!
LOVE the Peppermill, always make it there at least once a trip to Vegas.....
YAAASSS for Jean Phillipe Patisserie in Aria and Paris Baguette in the Venetian! Loved both of those places! I wish I had seen some of these places when I was there. Great video! Thank you.
OMG! I just made notes to take with me in January.
thank you so much for this great video.
23.00 for burger fries and drink,,,out of your mind
As I say... I personally prefer In-N-Out burger for $7. What I won't do for ya'll on CZcams though :)
Yeah, that is NOT cheap!
lmao! thats normal here in Australia.
That's Vegas. They charge what people will pay.
Now I'm wondering. How much will it cost for a menu at McDonalds in Vegas?
I really enjoy your videos. Good job dude
+Lo Mejor De Guatemala Thanks Thanks!
Great video mate. Appreciate the manner and information you give!
+Q Ho Thanks Q Ho!
Thanks for video, I will be in Vegas in March, can't wait to visit these places!
+Patrik Vojtech Thanks Patrik! Enjoy Vegas and the eats!
Great video! You inspire me to travel more!
Thanks Louise!
Hash House A Go-Go. Best food in Vegas, most meals around $20, HUGE portions
All your videos are awesome and VERY informative. Thank you
Thanks for insight on where to eat and especially the background info on the restaurants and where they originated from since so many of them I had never heard of
+Donna Manitu Thanks Donna!
Secret pizza in the Cosmopolitan is some of the best and most authentic NY pizza on the strip, a lot of locals know about it. Also in the Cosmopolitan: Momofoku Milk (originally from NY), amazing ice cream and deserts that are cheap.
I do want to check out Momofoku Milk.. Its relatively newly opened at the Cosmo isn't it?
Bro I’ve been to secret pizza I started there and I spent 1 min finding it but pizza it’s gooooood
It tastes like ass, rank food
Great video! Even as someone who lives in Vegas didn't know some of these spots!
Thanks Bikeking19!
Bikeking19 you need a list of top 10 drivethroughs
Purificati0n 😂 followed by parking garages?
I’m visiting Vegas for the first time in May and thanks to you I have a few places I want to eat! Thank you for the great info.
+Roger Dixon My pleasure Roger!
Love your videos! Very useful thank you!
The buffet at The Orleans is really good. Peppermill is pretty clutch as well
This video was made when I was in Vegas for the first time, the day before we got married. My favourite cheap place to eat was just the McDonald's next to Harrah's, everything came out perfect like it looks in the photos and after a long day of walking about in the heat it was the most welcome meal I've ever eaten. It was honestly better than a lot of the restaurants charging you a hundred dollars as well.
Great job!thanks!i love your videos!!!
Thanks Elizabeth!
Thank you so much for all the tips and Help on Las Vegas. We will be going July 2018 and this was amazing. Thank you
+NicoG1100 Thanks! Enjoy NicoG!
Monte Carlo changed it's name to Park MGM. That took me a while to figure out where the Boulevard Food Court was. @5:32 Otherwise thanks for the info, will be helpful for my trip.
Best breakfast deal in Vegas is at the Ellis Island casino just off the strip.
Ok, this is the third video of yours I've watched and I finally subbed because it made me hungry!!! Good job, wish I wasn't broke!!!
Awesome gj! Well not the broke part.. but the subscribing part :)
Great video this was very helpful
With $23 bucks I can go to the M resort buffet and eat like a king.
Which one is the M resort?
LDiableo for real
Attila Morvai it's off the strip on St. Rose and I-15
Thank you!
$23 is NOT cheap for a burgar and fires!!!!!$$$$$🍔🍟
Tacos El Gordo FTW! One of the best meals we had in Vegas. Try some of the beef tacos as well, like cabeza or lengua. Yeah, I know...but they're delicious!
mmmmm!
Pepe tacos are also good
Hhmmmm, the Peppermill looks awesome, we'll have to make a point to check that out and enjoy some classic Vegas. Thank you for this video.
Thank you so much for this video, because of this we have discovered in and out burger! It's lovely and not over priced! Have been watching your videos for months in preparation for our visit. Finally here and super grateful for all your videos! Xx
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed In N Out Burger!
Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I was in Vegas 2 months ago, passed by ALL of these places and had absolutely NO IDEA what was good to eat. If I had seen this video before I went to Vegas, it would've saved me a lot of money on the yucky expensive food I ate.
+Rick Cheng Art Hopefully you can try some on your next trip to Vegas!
Yes. And thanks for doing all the homework so we don't have to. There are just too many restaurants on the strip.
Ahh now I'm hungry in the middle of the night lol
I've succeeded then! :)
That pizza and those sandwiches and burgers look a look soooo damnnn good!!!
Great video Chris!
Loved this video!! Will have to check out a few of these places in June!
Thanks GR!
I wish there were more small portion affordable foods. Like $2 for a slider or hotdog or pita. Little kiosks. Just a bunch of variation would be great.
You'd like hawker centres in Singapore then! :)
those are crinkle cut fries at shake shack
TheJambees that drove me crazy
That really looked good!! Kinda like Steak n Shakes in Iowa!!!
What are waffle cut fries called in Nevada?
TheJambees I just watched the video, when he said ‘ “ Waffle cut fries” I yelled ...,” It’s crinkled cut fries “ !!! Thank you for knowing your fries lol
If they do call them as such then that just makes Nevadans wrong.
I remember back in the day the $5.99 prime rib dinner signs all over Vegas...those were the good old days
Thank you for some of the places listed here Greenberg’s deli was amazing, though I found Earl of Sandwich to be disappointing. Your tips have been super helpful with our trip
Ellis island just off the strip behind Bally's on Koval has really good breakfast. The chicken fried chicken is amazing.. and for dinner they have a really good BBQ menu. Also since they are a brewery as well they also make their own root beer for in if the best root beer floats you will ever have..
Thanks for the tip Robert!
Vegas in the early 90s was the definition of CHEAP. Slots-a-fun Casino had Giant Hot Dogs and Shrimp cocktail .99 cents. Slices of Pizza for a buck. Had a Steak and Lobster meal for 7.49 at a Casino Restaurant. All the Buffet prices hovered around $10-12 bucks a piece. Alcoholic drinks and beer for a buck at Silver city and many other casinos. Vegas in those days just said no profit or loss on food and drink is OK because we want them gambling.
And now it's all about blood sucking money, pay for parking, hotel resort fees, blahs blahs blahs...
always good work
Thanks Joshua!
man i'm starving now, LOL !!! we did go to Shake Shack when we were in Vegas last fall and it was terrific! now i know of a few more places to try so thanx for this!
I was successful then! :)
Good video bro. I was just in Vegas this time last year and didn't see half of this. Pepper mill is definitely a great spot Its definiltey classic Vegas feel. I feel like you highlighted just how cheap you can really eat in Vegas. You shoulda put Hash House on there tho! Oh and you should do a best or cheapest drinks in Vegas vid next! Start with Fat Tuesdays you can't go wrong! Keep up the good work!
+flyfreshtadef Thanks! And thanks for the tip on Hash House!
No problem. And when I say Hash House is cheap I mean because the portions are HUGE and can be split into two making each person meal worth about $7 or $8 for Great food! Can't go wrong wit the chicken and Waffles filled wit Bacon!
in n out for life
In N out *IS* LIFE!
Those krinkle cut fries look amazing raspberry tart sounds amazing too
Nice video and I hope you enjoyed all that food
Although not as cheap as I thought, but good recommendations.
We go to Hash House A Go Go at the Linq. We pick something out and we split it. They give you a alot of food for the money
That place is hard to beat
I appreciate the effort you put into your videos!
Great video! will definitely visit some of these places next time i go.
Thanks Alan!
Everything is more on the strip, a lot more. If you have a car, go to most any stations. But this isn't what this video is about.
Here's my pick. At the Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile, a place called the Oyster Bay and Wine Bar for breakfast. Steak and eggs. Really good. Prices vary by time of year, but we paid $5.95 with a beverage purchase of about $4.
I'll have to check out that place on my next visit. Thanks for the tip!
Lone gone are the days of really cheap eats in Vegas. Back in '81, spent a week in Vegas. At the 4 Queens casino, downtown Vegas, a shrimp cocktail was a buck. I'd tip the server another buck so for $2 I got a pretty decent shrimp cocktail. Also, most buffets were under $10 with plenty of food choices. Vegas probably figured out these loss leaders just weren't cutting it anymore.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT INFLATION IS?
Great video! I'm heading out to Vegas tonight for a 3 day weekend and your tips will certainly come in handy. Thanks for putting together such great videos! A fan!
Thanks Tony! Enjoy Vegas!
I absolutely LOVE your videos!!! Turpin (sp?) is pretty cool, too!!
+E A Thanks for the love E A!!!
Hash House A Go Go is THE BEST place to eat either on the Strip behind The LinQ or downtown in the Plaza Hotel
There is a Panda Express beside harrahs on the strip, beside it is Mexican sharing the eating area, on the second floor is a McDonald's and a short walk is Walgreens
+Mark ledesma That's a good spot too!
There is also a Panda Express near coca Cola world together with a Subway, Wendy's and from what i remember a Wienerschnitzel in a small food court
Mark ledesma I just threw up a little in my mouth reading your post.
You never fail me! Thank you!
Thanks Rika!
Thanks for the helpful tips! Now I know what I'm gonna eat.
Man, I was thinking like 10 dollar buffets and 4.99 steak and eggs.
sprdvx $4.99 steak might as well chew your sandals
sprdvx You aren't going to find $5 meals in Vegas anymore.
On my first trip to Vegas in 1993 we went to a $6.95 Steak and shrimp buffet. It was good, but even then that was at a hotel in Henderson. You won 't find those prices in Vegas today.
Guy Davis Even at a locals casino in Vegas, a prime rib dinner will cost like $25 or so out the door. Imagine how much it costs on the Strip! Vegas food ain't cheap like it was 20 years ago. The 90's are over.
Dee Cee I can lose $5000 gambling but still get scared with prices of food.
I am heading to Vegas in July with my girlfriend. When you get off the plane in Vegas, grab you the tourist magazines at the information booth area. Lots of great coupons!!!!!! 2 for 1 dinner coupons!!!! You gotta try Earl of Sandwich!!!!! AWESOME SANDWICHES!!!! Ham and Swiss sandwich is only $6.50 Its in Planet Hollywood near the entrance.
Great tip on the magazine for coupons
And if you happen to miss picking up the magazines and brochures on coupons, you can always pick them up in the newspaper racks right on the street where you get on the Deuce bus.
That's where I usually get them!
Love the video!
Thanks Chanel!
Wow...Superb!!! Wonderful job!!! Hope you enjoyed your weekend!!!
I was staying at Ballys a few years ago, and my friend suggested going to eat at a place called Ellis Island restaurant, which was just around the block on Koval Lane. We both had the steak and eggs with potatoes for only $6.99 and it was very good. Has anyone been to Ellis Island restaurant while in Las Vegas?
I haven't.. but sounds like I need to check it out!
Ellis Island is awesome! They have good beer prices and brew it there. Also Ketchup in Miracle Mile usually has a deal going on.
$7.99 steak dinner. It's pretty good! Check out the 5 star reviews on tripadvisor.com.
I've eaten there many times.. lived in Vegas for 27 years and was a cab driver for 17.. I can show you a ton of good food for a good price just off strip..a few blocks east or west. The steak special you talked about is $5 for cab drivers from midnight to 11a.m. each day so it was my breakfast a few days every week for years.. I also went to the longhorn casino for the $4.99 ham steak breakfast and it was the size of a large I also plate stacked on top was 2 eggs and hash browns and toast..
We eat at Ellis Island all the time when we are in Vegas. Best BBQ on the strip and the Rib Fillet dinner for $9 is awesome. And that is coming from Na Aussie Tourist. And they have loose slots and $3 Blackjack so most nights you can win your dinner with a little flutter.
I remember a 1/2 pound all beef foot long .99 somewhere near the Flamingo and 4.99 prime rib dinner including dessert at California Hotel but that was 1996. BTW saw the funniest show ever that trip.... Rodney Dangerfield
Omg...so do I...my dad used to always get that hotdog!!!! I also remember eating at Binion's horseshoe for cheap too....downtown is so aweful now!!! We went 4 years ago and girls dancing on tables in the Las Vegas Club and even outside on tables ...I couldn't believe how much it has changed....I want the old downtown back!!!!
It was the hot dog place inside the Slots of Fun next to Circus Circus. They later turned into Nathans and ended up moving to a different location.
Raymond that 1/2lb all beef foot long you remember was probably a big fat black dick!
This is golden advice. Thank you so much!
My pleasure J woods!
Great cheap eats, Chris! Enjoy your foods!🍔🍟🍖🥩🍛🍝🥓🍕🍳🥗🌯🌭🥪
When I visited Vegas several times back in the 80's the casinos practically gave food away. One of the comps to bring in gamblers. Guess those days are long gone. But then again, so are my desires to visit Las Vegas. lol
You went to Shake Shack wearing an In-N-Out shirt? That increases the likelihood that they spit in your burger. LOL Overall a great video with good information. Thanks!!
I'm brave! :)
in&out, sprinkles, shake shack, greenberg's deli, sirroco's pizza, bruxie chicken, Boulevard food court, Jean Phillippe Patisserie, five fifty pizza bar, egg slut, secret pizza, earl of sandwich, pink's hotdogs, Paris baguette, fashion mall food court-the habit, Luke's lobster, tacos el gordo, peppermill.
Loving your videos
Thanks Ana!
I miss the 70 and 80’s cheap places
Binion's Horseshoe- 12 oz NY strip, potato, and veg $4.99 in 1995.
Me too!
for cheap eats there's a couple places that are definitely better value-bang-for-buck options than the NYNY burger joint.
= Fat Burger, across the way, can end you with a full meal for about 7-8 bucks (definitely cheaper). Buttered bun, flakey/loose meet, good bacon. And crispy straw fries. IMO - best option is to grab a burger topped with egg in the morning for your late breakfast, which should keep you going for most the day. Shakes aren't as good, but there's plenty of other places to get your dessert on in the strip.
= there's a good number of smash burgers a couple blocks off strip (if you're willing to drive). But if you drove INTO vegas that night and you're just wanting to hotel check in, that's a great spot.
= ... oddly taco bell at planet hollywood is one I'd recommend. it's the same bottom tier trash food as any other taco bell, but it's a 5-star interior taco bell with wood engraved soda fountain ... which is a bizarrely entertaining trash couture thing worth checking.
This was a really good video too. Well Done
Thanks!
Love your videos of Las Vegas..they were so informative and helpful
Thank you for making this videos
Thanks PoetsOcean!
Peppermill has the best Bloody Marys, bar none!
Does Sprinkles still exist in 2019? I was on the strip looking for it for 20 mins
Its gone
Very informative and to the point video! Loved it!
Thanks Michael!
My favorite in that little shopping center is the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain.
Thats me in the back
Although it probably doesn't fit the theme of what you are showing in this video, my favorite cheap place to eat a cheap meal in Las Vegas is at Battista's Hole In The Wall behind the Flamingo (about a block off the strip at the intersection of Flamingo Rd and Linq Lane), and a very close walk from Caesars). For $22.95 plus tax you can get a decent spaghetti or ziti dinner with your choice of sauce. The dinner includes Soup or Salad (the salad by itself is filling enough), Garlic Bread, Cappucino, and a carafe of red or white wine.... all included in the 22.95 price. Beats the heck out of a $23.00 hamburger and fries meal. I have at least one dinner there every time I am in Las Vegas. I recommend making reservations, even for just a couple.
Thanks for the tip on Battista's Dorian!
Dorian Blue I've never eaten there but I have several friends who say the same things as you do.
$2 hot dog and beer right next door. Or a Block from there on Koval is Ellis Island. $7 steak dinner
This video made me hungry for some great food! I'll keep these options in mind when I make a trip over to Las Vegas! Thanks for sharing!
+Scottman895 Travel Mmmmmmmmm! :)
So happy I found your channel as there are several destinations that I want to visit.
Awesome!
Daaang !!! haven't been to vegas in ages
What you call cheap sounds super pricey to me - specially for average folks who probably make 10-12 per hour
I thought you were gonna tell about them $5.99 steak and eggs buffets that I remember up late 90s haha
Are they all gone?
+AJ Neupane AJ: Most of those "super cheap" eats are gone from the strip. The strip has become really quite Expensive. You can still find things like that... But they'll be Downtown, or at the "way off the strip" hotels
AJ Neupane u have to hit the local casinos for those cheap eats the strip is crazy high prices
Yeah I bought a tall can of bud light on the strip once and it costed almost 7 dollars. Fuck that.
Ate 10.99 steak and lobster once at the stardust before they tore it down. Should have been called 1 ounce shoe leather and 1 jumbo shrimp. Cheap eats are long gone on the strip.
Not to be super critical, but did you just call a $6 or $7 pizza slice "cheap?" GTFOH
Don't forget Del Taco in the upstairs food court near the M&M store. 24 hour tacos!!! they are way better than Taco bell.
+michael easton I've never been to that food court.. but I won't forget it now! :)
I loved this video .... cos I'm a greedy bag! lol ..... been to Las Vegas twice .... I think I'm due one last visit then I'll call it a day. They have the most amazing grub there. Big thumbs up!
I saw the lunch menu for Oceans One and was amazed at the $5 selections. I'm going to Vegas soon so I'll be checking it out. And thank you for this list. I'll check out the places I don't know (In n Out...yeah I'll be there. 4x4, please)
