The music is like a horror movie carnival. When I hear these guys I can't help but laugh hysterically. They create "demonic opera" with old horror movie riffs. Love it. Dario Argento would have had their music in his movies if they were around back then.

@maartenb1000 wiki says they're power metal and melodic death metal. Death metal is an extremely general term and I like to stereotype it as low tuned, heavily distorted guitars and low growls. CoB sounds similar to the 80s thrash metal hence the power metal label wiki has put on to it, not like bands such as Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Death, Nile. These are death metal bands. CoB merely has death metal influences.
