  • Join us for a delightful family lunch at Bibik's Kitchen Nyonya Cuisine, a charming restaurant on Sri Bahari Road in Georgetown, Penang. Run by a talented mother and daughter team, this cozy spot serves Michelin-worthy Nyonya food, kueh, and desserts.
We arrived just before noon to find the restaurant already bustling with diners, so it was a good thing we had made a booking. The kitchen quickly served us an array of mouthwatering dishes we had ordered: assam curry fish, soya sauce pork (tau yew bak), jiu hoo char, ayam pongteh, spiced fried chicken (inche kabin), assam prawns, telur Belanda, sambal petai udang, and more. We enjoyed everything with two types of rice: blue pea flower rice and white rice.
The selection of kueh was impressive, and we sampled as many as we could. To top off our meal, we indulged in delicious desserts: Bubur cha cha, black glutinous rice porridge (bee koh moay), and sago gula Melaka. Every bite was a treat for our taste buds, making it a truly tantalizing meal.

I noticed many once notable asian restaurants are now hijacked by western style Michelin guideline is like eating Italian Pizza based on Eastern Kochabi guide book. This seems to appeal more to young dinners.

The decor and food here was quite traditional, but yes, some restaurants have chosen to go with fusion style cuisine. I guess it just comes down to taste.

Wow! What a feast. They all look delicious. I was drooling looking at each plate. Great food shared with great company. That is the best recipe.
P.S: If possible, give an English description and composition of the dish (so the foreigners can understand). Thank you in advance. Great video as usual. Take care.
