I can still remember taking the old penang ferries. The service cost only 40 or 60 cents back then. While in the ferry, i enjoyed eating nova bakery bun or simply standing near the railing watching the waters below, the bridge, the sunset, etc. That's 28 yrs ago!

I came across ah khoon lor mee in 1960s at Kg Bengali Road, just opposite my in - law's place. A friendly guy and his braised pig skin goes superbly well with the lor mee 😋 Actually, this location has a couple of eateries which are popular...Wah Tong for Hokkien Mee, Tokyo and Bee See Hong for zhu char, Kim Seng for Koay Teow Thng and for Mamak, its Nasi Kandaq Beratoq Pokok Ketapang (night operating hours only)... Watching this video has brought back fond memories of my teenage years....Thank you, bro ❤
