Why not?? I’ve had my car for 20 years, bought it new, still in top condition, no rust, no major repairs, 190,000 miles, no reason to get another, especially as all of the 2021 models are on freighters off the coast of California right now, not to mention the ones for 2022. Anybody who buys and flips cars just to have a new ride is throwing their money down a rathole, as far as I can see. I want my money. I might lease for 3 years with no money down, but then I’m not eating the depreciation, either.

Nicely done. It's a good solution when you're only using the car for family trips on the weekend or holidays and using bikes and public transit to get to work/school during the week. That's also a nice car to invest this kind of money on. The zen is a fun car to drive and lasts a really, really long time. I'd be worried about the wear to the suspension, tires and parking brake though. Ideally you'd be able to modify your staircase so the car doesn't need to go up an incline. The other option is to use a jack to raise the rear end instead of driving up. It's a very light car so even a lightweight hydraulic jack should be able to do the job. They are quite cheap here in the US.

You should get around to do similar mods for people who are interested in your area, e.g some one was quoting below, what about Honda City, am sure you can think of something to do for them at a price. You can propose town council some ideas to assist with nightmare parking in city areas. All the best !

There are a lot of places where space is not only limited but regulated. I'm gonna guess that in the evening when people get off work the streets are filled with parked cars making this much more effective than driving in circles looking for a spot.. Not to mention its somewhat more secure.

Well the streets look relatively empty now. And what if the front of his house gets blocked by another vehicle? He would have to have a precise amount of space to get his car between the tree onto the sidewalk. There must be another reason for this, but I see no reason why he can't just leave it in the area before he gets onto the ramp thing. Maybe they have two cars and need that for another car?

It would be really smart if you have the space. And the little engine that moves the under-body, maybe you can run it by a simple remote control so you don't have to go back and forth to the switch on the wall to move it in and out.
