Do you ever eat breakfast for dinner?
It is chilly and rainy out tonight, so I’m going to make do with the food that is on hand. I’m making breakfast for dinner.
I’ve been craving bacon lately and found some uncured end cuts of bacon for less than $4 for a pound. So I am cooking up some of the bacon and a few eggs to make a breakfast/dinner sandwich. A healthy amount of Yellowbird Serrano hot sauce finished the sandwich off. And it was good!

Yes, breakfast for dinner is always a wise choice. Being a country boy, that means biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs or omelet, & hash browns. I have a grater so I take 1 potato to make hash browns. I might even mix some onions and mushrooms!

You should seriously consider doing an ASMR Channel.
Your voice is extremely soothing & it relaxes me hearing it, along w/any other sounds you provide whether it be rain, cooking sounds, etc.

The other channel has been nature sounds but I’ve thought about branching out with it.
This channel can be used for both interesting topics and asmr. In the daytime I actually listen to the topic or watch cool places Scott visits.
At night I can get to sleep 90% of the time with his sounds and voice level. Scott's channel helps me get out of my own head at night 🧡🚐🧡
I'm retired but still have three adult kids at home (one in school, one applying to grad school, 1 working), so I need to be budget conscious. About twice a month we will have breakfast for dinner. Omelets or pancakes or waffles. My adult kids look forward to it.

Yes , breakfast for dinner . I rarely eat bacon ,but I prefer it over cooked .Love a BLT . Barometric pressure change always makes me feel lousy too . Rain is coming to Northern California in the morning and I am looking foreword to it despite the change in barometric pressure .

My favorite go to is French toast with cinnamon and honey for dinner. I also add some vanilla extract. 2 slices of thick organic bacon to complete the dish and of course coffee.
I'm going to check out that skillet. I use iron cast skillets now but I'd like to get something lighter.

Yes, I, too, once in a blue moon like a good breakfast for dinner. Only problem is that I'd want coffee too but it'd be too late in the evening. Might interfere with my sleep, and I can't have that. Be nice to have a cup like you do whenever you feel like it. You're lucky. And as a little footnote here. It's hard for me to understand why someone would comment and pick on your preparation strategy about using an extra bowl in your kitchen to whisk some eggs. It's almost kinda funny the way the least important part of a video is that someone can spot an inconsequential step and pick up on it, and decide to use that as a comment. But I like your come back, "So What". Exactly what I'd say 😉.

Growing up in a Sicilian family, we would definitely eat eggs for dinner, only my mom would add roasted sweet peppers & onions, & serve it as sandwich in a baguette.

Just found out that we have a “Fresh Market” here in NW Florida and they sell coffee beans roasted by Groundwork. I’m a pour over coffee snob, so we have a lot in common. 😉
Every now and then I go the whole hog and have bacon and eggs, toast, grilled tomatoes, fried onions, mushrooms and homemade fries for dinner, it's good for a change. Thankyou for a most relaxing video 👍🙂
Love breakfast for dinner especially when I have bacon, eggs and grits with English muffins, buttered. 🥓🍳And yes, eggs have to be scrambled in a separate bowl. I made “scrambled” eggs Sunday morning by cracking them in the pan out of laziness …never got them right. Ate them anyway.

The same thing happens to me. I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis and when the weather changes I definitely feel it even though I love the rain and storms!!

I may have opted for soup or stew in that rain with a nice crusty bread and a hearty red wine. We are now getting into winter comfort foods here in the northeast.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, occasionally we have breakfast for dinner/ supper, I’m from the south ( Tennessee) and as I say we whip up a good breakfast for dinner time. Cook what you love.
I often eat eggs & bacon for dinner. But I only eat one meal a day in the evening.
When I was growing up, we had breakfast for dinner sometimes. It makes it easy for Mom and Dad and fun for the kiddos. French toast, yummm.
I love eating breakfast for dinner. I will eat eggs anytime, they're so very good. Love bacon too. One of my favorite foods for breakfast is french toast but I am not eating any sugar so I stay away from that.
But yes, bacon and eggs with some pieces of cheddar, tomato, and cucumber on the side. Yummy!

My grandmother used to make pancakes, waffles or bacon and eggs for supper. I don't make them often and never for supper due to diet constraints. Bacon ends are very hard to find in my area. I love to use them in potato or bean with bacon soup. Nice to see you making such lovely comfort foods. Keep well. 😊
It seems like the bacon ends are hard to find everywhere. I shop a lot and rarely see any.
Hi Scott, thanks for another wonderful vlog. It seemed to celebrate the season: cozy inside, rainy outside and having fun, delicious things to eat followed by a comforting, hot drink (coffee- yay!). Whenever we ate 'breakfast' for dinner it was always special, maybe because we were flaunting tradition; just simply (and harmlessly) having an adventure of sorts and having fun changing things up.
The time change is difficult on most, I think, whether we realize it ir not. It seems as I get older it bothers me more. I live in Florida and the state is supposed to cease going through the time change next year/ but of course I'll believe it when I see it, lol. Thanks again. Hope you are doing well. Take care.

The other day, I saw small sample size, 2.2 oz, All birds at Walmart. I bought 3 different flavors. The Serrano does taste good. I agree.

Yes Scott, we eat breakfast for supper once in a while, its great. We don't eat pork at all. Turkey bacon or veggies bacon. Its pretty good .
I've had breakfast for dinner, but not often. I've also had dinner for breakfast. I enjoy soup for breakfast in cold weather.

Carbon steel pans are awesome. They are not common in North American kitchens but are very popular in Europe. Once seasoned, they are way better than cheap non-stick pans.

Oh 'breakfast' for dinner has long been a big thing in my life, in my family. And I NEVER crack eggs right into the pan and scramble them there, I just can't. So you, Chef, and me, cook eggs this way! And yeah, I prefer waffles over pancakes, but like you I don't have a waffle iron in my van! So sometimes I'll do pancakes, but more often than not, my go-to is French Toast!!!

When I want breakfast for dinner, a Monte Cristo sandwich is my go to indulgence. A little more involved but oh so good. Coffee with cream required. Goes well with the cozy sound of rain while being in your humble abode with the heat, toasty warm. Take care...

Breakfast for dinner is called Brenner . Many of us love it
In the Netherlands we don’t usually eat pancakes for breakfast. We eat them for diner. And personally me and my family eat scrambled eggs with tomato or mushrooms with bread for diner with some soup sometimes. When we don’t have a lot of time or when we aren’t that hungry.
My favorite meals for dinner/supper are breakfast items.

Many people have problems with eating breakfast foods for dinner. My ex-girlfriend used to love breakfast cuisine as a dinner meal. We ate pancakes, omelets, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and bacon, and grits for dinner many times. She also loved eating lunch or dinner food as breakfast. We would make BLTs for breakfast along with hamburgers, steaks, smoked meat sandwiches, and casseroles.

Yes 40% of the time I eat breakfast for dinner it's easy and a fast meal , pancakes and bacon , spam and eggs , dice hotdog and eggs , pork chop and eggs with refried beans and Hashbrown and eggs
I pretty much live on salads and grilled chicken but remember eating BLT’s a lot when I was a college girl. I love bacon but don’t eat it anymore but would if I were eating out. I also really like tuna sandwiches! I think it’s fine to eat breakfast for dinner! We have a few days of sun this week for a change! Yay!

A man who can cook is always a good catch in my book😁. Cloudy/Rainy days affect me too. They call it SAD - seasonal affect disorder. Might want to consider tan bed, even a short time a couple times per month. A light box would be best but it would affect your power. Getting enough vitamin D3/K2 will keep your immune system up too. Your pretty savvy & probably know all of this so just a reminder. We want you well all winter.

Just to say, and not too be too sensitive to weather changes, I find that having a good weather forcast which includes the barometric pressure changes could help you. Many people are very sensitive to barometric pressure. I subscribe to Northwest Weather Watch and I find his information accurate and informative. You obviously can't do anything about the weather but it might be calming to you to know what's going on.

In the old days, when Catholics weren’t permitted to eat meat on Friday, it was pancakes (with peanut butter and syrup) for us.
