I have had Sarr and Risacher as my top two for months, but I may finally have Risacher over Sarr just because I trust his two-way ability more. I really don't think Sarr offense will be enough to be a huge positive but I think Risacher has legit Mikal Bridges like upside. Really high IQ big wing that competes hard on defense and takes smart shots on 3s. I don't think he as limited offensively as folks are making it and he has sneaky athleticism. I think we need someone with legit pro experience too given our other young guys didn't even have college experience. Really hoping we land ZR
Risacher slots in for the skill set and also may be the best player available. Agreed. Sarr may have a higher overall ceiling but to me it's far more likely Risacher reaches his, and I think Bridges is a great comp for Risacher. He's playing in a tough league and has played lots of games. If the Blazers move into the top 2 they will be in a good spot either way IMO.
Yeah If Shaedon stays healthy he could be a force. Just have to implement a system where he can succeed and make sure he's starting from day 1. I think they have to clear the runway for him.

What kind of bigs are we looking at? I want size overall at both draft slots. I just don't think Toumani and Rupert are enough to stop drafting at that spot.
@@FromTheLogo I would agree need power forwards centers like 6 9 bigger.. I think we have 3 small forwards between sharpe toumani Rupert i also consider Murray small forward
I don't agree that you don't need another center, mainly for better defense against other bigs like Joki, KAT, Holmgren and Wemby. Williams and Reath can't do it.
True, the league is tilting towards size, even though KAT and Wemby aren't playing center on their teams. I'm not sure if the twin towers of Ayton and Clingan fit well enough. But Sarr and Ayton could work and be closer to the mold you are talking about if Sarr improves on his shooting.
A crazy idea if lucky enough to get sarr how about trading up in 14 pick and trade ayton for UConn big?? Let’s really start the rebuild we are years away
Not a bad move. Clingan's health is a bit concerning. I do think as Ayton continues to settle in and the team adds shooting he will show he can fit the timeline and play well, but we will see. I'm not fully attached to him yet.
@@FromTheLogo also I don’t know if anyone wants contact, ayton helped me win a fantasy league championship so I like him just think going cheaper and young not a terrible idea.. I could see a team like Indiana overpaying for ayton

Yeah part of this may come down to ownership as well. The Blazers do need to draft their stars so I get rebuilding but want to see some "pop" from 1 or 2 young guys next season.
Taylor Smith hell yes for the second pic😂
Also, I think Banton is going to be a legitimate role player next year. Maybe 20 MPG. Even with no injuries
Ayton C, Sarr Pf, Grant Sf, Simons Sg, Scoot Pg /// Brogdon , Sharpe, Murray, Walker, Rob Willians III
ok
Blazers select Alex Sarr Pf (DPOY 24/25). Go Blazers.
My big board:
1. Sarr
2. Risacher
3. Holland
4. Topic
5. Castle
6. Buzuelis
7. Sheppherd
8. Dillingham
I can’t put topic over buzellis. Holland is intriguing but if he’s really 6’6 and is a horrendous shooter I pause. If he falls to 14 no brainer

Risacher should be the pick 💯
Would be a perfect fit on the roster day 1. Crossing fingers for him to be there.
Any player drafted this year will take 3 seasons to “be that star.” Why not groom Shaedon in that role? I predict he’ll have everyone raving in 2025.

After the lottery is over you need to do your mock drafts. would like to here your thoughts.
Good idea, we should do.a mock! We will react to the lottery as well.
Salaun should absolutely be the pick at 14 if he is there. Ultimate swing for the fences pick at a position of need
Totally agree. He's got stuff to work on but has the build and overall skillset. In this draft that's enough
I think people forget we have Rupert and toumani for the small forward position.. I want bigs 💯 this offseason

ayton/williams/reath/bari is better center depth than 90% of the league
