Tell me about it. I hate incompetent pool services. My pool boy decided to quit working for me and didn't tell me he got a new job. It happened in May he didnt clean my pool for the memorial day weekend. Then my pool turned green. I have to drain at least have my pool water my pool is very much imbalanced. He put conditioner in it, when my CYA was already higher than normal. It was 140. I got the annual bill for Conditioner and algicide. I vented my concerns, then suddenly he claimed he never added those chemicals. So why did he bill me? Anyway, i found numerous problems that he left behind. He notched my newer filter manifold. He told me it was old. I replaced it myself a year ago before he started. He fused my new stainless steel rod to the wing nut, which he reinstalled upside down. He made.me buy new filter grids. I saw nothing wrong with the old ones, after i puchased them. The reason for the DE blowback was the notch in the manifold that he made. It blew out one filter base. So I had to buy all new insides for my filter, and he walked iff the job leaving me a mess. My pool is soupy.green right now. I am do upset because im on a fixed income and started a landscape ptoject in my front yard i had been saving up for. Now it sits uncompleted and that money is going.to fix my pool. Ugh i felt so defeatef. Been my home since 1987 and i used.to take care of my own pool. Now.i feel i cant trust in a new service. The prices have doubled in the last.year as well. I feel used and taken advantage of now that I am permanently disabled now and I have bern fightjng cancer. Instead of enjoying my pool fot water therapy Im having to diagnose and fix it myself. Because i can't afford the new rates, now. Ok I'm done.with my rant. Oh wait, one more thing, he clogged my pool lines witn roofing gravel that came off with all the heavy rains I got part of the clog out, trying again tomorrow.
