  • The other company got fired because the pool was green before 4th of July and it had been green for several months, off and on. I said I could turn it around before the 4th of July, see how it went.

Hi! I really enjoy your videos and they have helped me tremendously! The PVC pipe and silicone video was a life saver! No leaks. I did use froc and it helped a little but it didn't turn out as clear as the pools in you vids. I ended up using the whole bottle. Should I try it again or am I missing something else do you think?

Thanks for the feedback! You can use a flocculant or floc once all the algae is dead and everything is white in the pool, no green. You would use the whole bottle or treat according to the instructions on the bottle. If you are using it just as a clarifier, that's not correct. Use clarifier when needed to get things out of suspension (only for sand and cartridge filters), but a flocculant when turning a pool around to drop everything to the bottom and vacuum to waste.

@@truelightpoolsllc4441 Thank you! I have a DE filter 48 sq ft. I used the froc after the algea died but my pool is still cloudy. So I should get a clarifier?

@@newyou9914 No, the DE filter should have no problems clearing up the water after you vacuum the stuff on the bottom to waste.

@@truelightpoolsllc4441 Well that's my issue at the moment. I used the floc and it cleared up a little but I still can't see the bottom of my pool. Just a bit in the shallow end and the steps is all I can see. Should I use floc again?

@@newyou9914 I guess. Once all the algae in the water is dead everything should turn white. Once this happens, treat the pool with a flocculant, read instructions on the back to treat appropriately, run pump for a few hours then turn off pump, I usually let things settle for at least 18 hours. Then vacuum all the stuff on the bottom out to waste.

Hi, any suggestion on automatic pool scrubber? Polaris vs. Dolphin, etc? If money is not an object, which auto cleaning device would you get for yourself? Thanks!

      Dolphin

@@truelightpoolsllc4441 Thanks for your reply. One more question please. Between Dolphin Premier and Sigma, which would you recommend? I heard Sigma gets stuck on main drain quite often, not sure how it compares against Premier. Thanks again!

@@TSXChef Not sure which model, whichever one is stronger. If it gets stuck on main drain, that’s not good.
