THANK YOU for explaining how after you pop the bubbles each time you go over the paint, you lighten your touch until you're not pressing against it, but barely touching it with your sponge roller!!!! Also, thanks for NOT over explaining and treating your viewers like we don't have any sense. Sorry, but that's a pet peeve for me!!!! BTW, Great Job On The Finished Product!!!! Save some money on hinges and hardware. Don't use paint stripper. Baking soda, water, bring to boil, and the paint peals right off. No harsh chemicals, and super cheap. I usually sprinkle enough baking soda to cover the bottom of my pot/pan, add in the hardware, sprinkle some more baking soda on top, fill with water, bring to boil and done.
Thank you!👍🏻 I usually do a vinegar/water boil and then steal wool scrub for regular dingy hardware, sometimes using Bar Keepers Friend, but I didn't know you could do a baking soda/water boil for the layers of paint. I'll remember that if I run into this again, that's a good tip!👌🏻 thank you! 😊

Thank you!! You're right 😅 I probably should've been wearing a mask since this is oil-based. I usually try to wear one of my respirators, particularly if I'm spraying material, but I got a bit lazy wearing it this time with the wipe-on-poly 😬

My full face respirator is my favorite. It doesn't fog up around my eyes and it's excellent for if you're doing a sanding job or using a saw, because it protects your eyes at the same time. For me, it gets cumbersome wearing protective glasses or goggles at the same time as using a half respirator, so I like this alternative a lot 😊 hopefully this Amazon link works🤞🏻
