- Cluckingham Palace is starting to look really good! In this video, I added all the siding, trim, and completed the roof. Enjoy!

More puns: great eggspectations! Love it! Coop is looking great!!! Your chickens will surely be pampered!
It should have been eggs-peck-tations
I love your technical difficulties, but to me that’s jus how life is wit a nosy playful dog around lol x love from Britain xx
So cool! You’d be a really great tiny house maker. We hope someone would sponsor you on a tiny house build! 👍🏼
That is so great to see. You do excellent work my friend.
lookin good!
Dude, you are an animal! Had to keep it going. Amazing job, as always.
Throughout these videos I can’t stop staring at your walls. Makes me miss home. You must be close to Orange, CA. If not tell you city to give us our walls back.
That looks pretty clucking good.
Muy buen trabajo. Te felicito.

Greeting from France ! Nice videos :D
they actually make "special" blades to cut that siding.
I think it was like 180 dollars for the chop saw one we bought.
Ended up just using regular saw blades on the other saws and had no issues. more dust though.
Never want to put that stuff up again, it was awful.
hey Ben, love your work and editing....
how about you make your pups an epic ball throwing machine so they can entertain themselves?
Why not install Tyvek wrap to prevent the OSB roof and walls from getting wet?
It might not be necessary for just a coop, plus it would add to the already large cost.
Most people don't realize that the physical size of a rectangular building structure does not really matter when it comes to the work involved. You have everything that's time consuming in a small structure as you do in a larger one and I would argue that the smaller ones takes even more time because there are more details.
"It hardly ever rains here". Where do you live Ben?
I live I Norway, it hardly never stops raining here 😂
Southern California. It won’t rain here for more than 8 months sometimes
👍😉
Shouldn’t you put housewrap between the OSB and the cement board to prevent water damage?
Make a VIDEO of the TAMIYA MODELS !!!!!!!!!!
Be careful that you're either letting any finishes fully cure or using low VOC finishes. Birdies no like VOCs.
You know the chooks will probably only use 2 nesting boxes max
Always put down felt paper.. That is what actually keeps the water out an the shingles are just to weigh it down..
I think youre gonna be very disappointed you didnt put tar paper on the roof. I did that on a small garden shed and mould started growing within a few months. The plywood started rotting within a year and I ended up redoing the roof with a good water shield.
Bit of a Ferrari F1 fan?
Just a quick question. Is the area you live in zoned for chickens?
It's a good thing this is just a chicken coop because that drip edge wasn't installed properly. There is supposed to be a gap between the drip edge and the facia.
Someone’s been watching This Old House. 🙃 I looked into this been basically zero houses in my area f Texas have a gap between the drip edge and fascia. I talked to several roofing companies about it, and apparently the proper installation depends a lot on your weather. We deal a lot more with wind damage here than we do water and ice. The drip edge gap is more vulnerable to wind pushing water underneath it. What there was universal agreement on is that the shingles should hang past the fascia by at least 0.25-0.5 inches.
I get that it’s just a chicken coop and not your house but you did go the extra effort. A moisture barrier is cheap and effective.
Your dogs must think this is for them.
Dogs know everything for them.
