I'm new in retail, been playing warlock ever since I tried it way back 2004 or 2005 and still loving it even today. But here in dragon flight it's quite confusing, but looking forward for more of your guide.

Tbh ur guide very good for beginners like me, I play demo, started to play destro, dem after follow ur guide, I can enuf dmg, not high as demo but it's consider okay

Hey @간편요리왕_더니 I use the following for what you see on the screen. Deadly Boss Mods, Details Damage Meter, GTFO, Plater Nameplates, and Weakauras. For the Weakaura I use the Luxthos Warlock from wago.io but I modify it a bit. Even though spells like Chaos Bolt do not need a weakaura, my mind works in patterns so I like it lined up exactly like my actions bars. I will see about posting the modified Weakaura up on wago and then adding a pinned comment to the video since the export string is extremely long.

can you tell me how you placed the cds of your spells, the soulshard bar and health and mana bar in the middle of your screen? Wich Addon do I need for this?
@TheWoWBunker That is a Weakaura. You can get the Weakauras addon for Curseforge and then the weakauras themselves are at wago.io. The one I use for the Warlock is made by Luxthos.

DId my first +2 today on my destro lock and was 4th place in dmg overall under the tank. 494 ilvl. The tank was a 490 ilvl pally. Not sure what I did so wrong. I just try to use rain of fire as much as possible for each big pack. And when Im out of shards I try my best to spread immolate and use my conflags to generate shards and then rain of fire again. Now I do only have my 2 set tier bonus. Missing one more piece for my 4 set, so not sure how much of a difference that will do.
Heya @brianortega1637. There are a ton of variables that could go into this. Will depend on the item levels of the other players, tier set, their trinkets and yours, enchants on gear and level of enchant, the types and levels of gems in sockets, and so on. One thing you might do is use Raidbots and use the Dungeon Slice option to sim your character so you are comparing against what your character specifically should be doing DPS wise. Dungeon slice is not the best precision as far as Sim but it would be good enough to get a rough idea. We have a video that has info on how to Sim your character if you want to check that out as well. Let me know if this helps. Thanks!
In low keys I always run cataclysm. mobs die to fast to get full use out of inferno. Unless the tank is just pulling huge packs cata will get the damage out faster than inferno. In high keys with big pulls infero will rip.
@@blizzle38 I have always found that Rain of Fire needs ramp up time to really get going and that requires enough mobs to make it worth casting. Had a tank pulling 2s and 3s yesterday which is great for Havoc, not so much for RoF. Agree that lower keys tend to have those smaller pulls. May try Cata as you suggest.
I understand everything and usually take 1st place in dps the only thing I'm not sure about is havoc on aoe pull what it does and when to use it
@fredbridges4012 It is primarily for building shards. Our AoE can take a bit to ramp up sometimes and Havoc can help shorten that by building more shards early. Once you get the Rain of Fire stacking on enough mobs it kinda supports itself then.

its good to use shadowburn once in a while to get a gigantic incinerate crit with burn to ashes, it deals like 1m dmg

@@TwoAngryFrogs nevermind, I found out that conflagration of chaos only buffs conflagrate and shadowburn. those big crits were natural from burn to ashes

I have seen people in m+ cast 2 chaos bolts to 2 different enemies at the same time! How do you do that?? 😮
Hey @lofisnapple3413 That is the Havoc talent / spell. You cast Havoc on one target and then every time you hit another enemy with a single target spell it hits them both. You also get the soul shards for both hits so it is great for building shards in AoE situations and is also really good for cleave when we have something like 2-target boss encounters.

Does warlock have a spell that can stop a cast like kick for rouges
@fredbridges4012 They do but you have to have your Felhunter pet out. The Felhunter has an ability called Spell Lock that you can drag to your action bars. It interrupts spell casts on a 24 second cool down.
