Jake was the most heartwarming one in my opinion. She didn't want to get rid of him, but she was willing to give him up, so that the man could have company after his wife died.
I'm teary eye with Jake one esp when she said, I'm gonna miss you Jake. the truth is we all miss Betty White esp now that she's gone.
Jake should have his own show. He was a really good actor and could make a lot of money. But I heard he moved to New York so he would have to come back to LA if he wanted to be a movie star. Hopefully he will some day.

The Grandmother, Auntie, Neighbour, Roommate and, above all, the Friend we've always wanted. RIP, Betty. She, Estelle, Bea and Rue are gone, but Rose, Sophia, Dorothy and Blanche will live forever. Some books/movies/songs/artworks etc. will never die, and will always win hearts all around the world. The Golden Girls, already an established classic at just over 30 years old, is one of these.
I'd want Betty to be my mom. Loved my mom but she didn't love animals as much! Crossword puzzles kept her brain fit as a fiddle. She could memorize her lines at what 88yrs old.

I wanted to cry when they brought Jake out. Betty loved animals and did everything to save them and loved them dearly.
All of the scenes in which Betty appeared with animals required no acting on her part. Only a true animal lover could portray those scenes the way she did. A treasure, not just to the U.S. but to the world.

However, I can't recall anyone from the entertainment industry who has affected me the way Betty White has. Her range of acting talent was unmatched. Whether it was Rose Nylund, Sue Ann Nivens or any of the countless roles she played, she brought a sense of authenticity to every role.

My mom passed away at 79. She reminded me so much of Betty White at that age. Both wonderful, beautiful ladies. Miss both
Aw! How lovely your mom must have been-My late auntie looked similar to Betty too and had Betty’s zest for life. She died at 98 and I still miss her. My mother looked like Bea as Dorothy as well. The Golden Girls kind of comfort me and make me remember my family that’s gone.

I don't know who here has heard of this poem, actually it's more like a little story, called one last rescue. Look it up it's a beautiful story that will leave you needing a Kleenex. It talks about how waiting right outside of heaven are animals that didn't get rescued in life and they don't get into heaven until someone who rescued animals in life comes imagine all those animals that got rescued when Betty White arrived

I used to volunteer at a dog shelter. There were so many I couldn't save. I don't believe in god or heaven or none of that. But I do hope they will all be waiting for me, somewhere.

I love how they were so willing to use Betty White's natural love of animals in the show. I think it says a lot about Rose's character that, as much as she loves animals, she's more than willing to let someone else take them in if she feels the animal/person needs them more. It shows how giving/loving a person Rose is. She was my favorite character on the show. Plus, did anyone else notice how completely chill the animals are when they're with Betty?

I'm a senior and Ms White has been a part of my life since my parents got our first TV in 1955. Yes, she was 99, but only chronologically. I am so appreciative of the joy that she brought to me via her choice to make the entertainment industry her life's work. A charming and wonderful lady.
