Great man, great actor who made a great speech.
Genuine affection for all actors big and small and he treated them with dignity
What a great speech a true gentleman!
What a lovely speech ! Peter Falk was so funny, sweet and classy: a true legend. And I loved the story about the coat !
What amazing gifts to entertainment. Both of them. Thank-you gentlemen.

Falk was so good in Capra's Pocketful of Miracles! And he got an Academy Award nomination to boot. And he WAS funny in the movie!
Peter Falk earned his second consecutive Oscar nomination for "Pocketful of Miracles," directed by Mr. Capra.
Bloody Bravo Sir.
From a Legend to a Legend, a Star to a Star.
I write poetry and when I strike the write chord, I shall pen a poem in support and tribute of Peter Falk, my only regret is he is not British as I would be honoured to address the great Man as Sir.
Bye Bye Blackbird, thank you!!!
Heartfelt thanks from a very appreciate man.
when I have spoken to friends of my age group who was their favourite detective - not sherlock Holmes but all came down to Columbo !!!!!!!

great moment. thanks.
Joy Boy!!! The gift that keeps on giving. He’s not just for Christmas!
"Oh, just one more thing"
"Oh, I almost forgot"
Two people that were just great human beings: Frank Capra and Peter Falk. .
"Of all the sleuths in the world...you had to walk into mine..." I bet even Bogey would have praised Mr. Falk for his outstanding portrayal as the somewhat ackward and dishevelled private eye who, in the final moments of every episode, could outwit even the most cunning murderer known to mankind. And while the plot thickened, Columbo, with his usual charm and dry humour, finally could solve
the case without even raising his voice or firing a single gunshot. Leaving us,the audience SMILING!
Its a million dollar voice!!..
“And one more thing…”
Hay trabajo para el que lo desee
A little correction on my part. Ofcourse Columbo wasn't a "private eye" in the old sense of the word. In fact he was "an inspector" with The Los Angeles Police Department. But by no means a "Cheap Detective"! In 1978 however, he played a
character called Lou Peckinpagh(!) in a movie with a very simular name: "THE CHEAP DETECTIVE". And one of the few films I still haven't been able to see yet.
But after the sadly departures of KOJAK, McCLOUD, and now COLUMBO, we still
have...POLICEWOMAN!
Dignity, planetary, the awakening and the zoo, it's been fun watching everyone watch the children, but now it's time for the good parents to move and act, that they no longer be invisible. Where will you begin? --
Uh, maybe I'm a dim bulb, but DivineNucleus, what's th point you were trying to make with that rambling comment of yours??
