Browns vs The Draft.
Cabbage man 😂
Lol
😂😂😂😂funniest comment on CZcams
LMAO
Damn that's real lmaoo
Packers v Bears in seventh place? You people are mad!!
Packers - Bears sets the standard.
Victor Simoes why yeah it’s iconic, it’s always been one sided everytime
Original Name how? We just won the division this past year and beat them in our last meeting
If Favre was still in GB, it'd be a rivalry. With Rodgers, it's like the Brady Pats v Bills
Michael yeah okay. We LITERALLY won the division last year over him. Bills never won the division against Brady but you’re right dude
The entire AFC north is just a huge rivalry
NFC East too
Nowhere close to the Chargers- Bills rivalry.
@@akashtanwar1939 that not even a big rivalry😂
@@akashtanwar1939 you had a part in this.... right?
@@michaelmyers147 The only all-champion division in the NFL - as far as I know.
The fact chiefs and raiders aren’t on this list shows truly how much NFL films doesn’t pay attention to the AFC west
Yes, that rivalry goes all the way back to The Founding of The American Football League. You'll find Hall of Fame Players from both Teams that were part of that rivalry. Was there respect? Yes. No Love Lost, No Love Gained. I would put it up there with Steelers vs. Ravens except this one started in 1960.
They put a quarterback fued as a rivalry.... what more do ya need. They didn't even place packers and bears high on the list. It's all wrong lmao.
True enough, almost as strong as the Broncos-Raiders rivalry. Those three AFC West teams should hold two of the top three at least.
I’d say Chargers vs Raiders is a tad stronger
Agreed on that, Chiefs-Raiders should have been on the list!!!!
I want to thank you. You somehow brought Bears and Packers fans together to fight for the same cause. Truly phenomenal
i hate the bears but we are both #1 when it comes to the greatest rivalries
@@aaronfox4844 nope. Oldest maybe but not the best or even the nastiest. I'll watch Giants vs Eagles over Packers vs Bears anyday of the week. And I'm a Dallas fan. Bears-Packers is a snoozefest.
@@13mrservon Actually yes because since its throughout history it includes more than how it is today and how it has been during your lifetime
@@lifelesslyric2130 its definitely the oldest from 1921. But Giants and Eagles have been smashing each other since 1933. And over time, everything evolves. 25 years ago, the best rivalry was probably Packers-Bears. Not now. Evolution my guy. Its the nature of life. Packers-Bears is ancient history.
@@13mrservon well yeah I get that but the context isnt of now or a certain period. Its collectively over the existence of said rivalry
These people are clueless!... There's no way in hell that the Browns-Bengals rivalry is greater than the Packers-Bears!... Not on this planet!
Manu Izca agreed
Manu Izca hell yeah it is are you clueless
Harry Engel
Ranking Bears/Packers at #7 is outright disrespectful. It is the league’s most played rivalry (the 2nd game this season will be their 200th meeting). The Packers and Bears have played in the same conference or division since the NFL went to a conference format in 1933. Out of the almost 200 head to head games played, Green Bay only leads by 3 games...that’s how close the rivalry has been. Hell, the Bears/Packers rivalry can be credited for the first ever ejection of players for fighting during an NFL game.
Absolutely! I hate green Bay, if the Bears go 2-14, as long as those two wins are against green Bay I'm Happy
@@dicktation_4769 I agree a lot.. but not all the way. It should be #2... Easily. I think the issue is the Bears aren't a consistently winning franchise. They haven't put together 3 winning seasons in a row since 84-88 they had 5. But it's always like they'll be 12-4 then go 4-12 for 3 seasons after. They usually underperform in the playoffs. And only 33 all time playoff games. Maybe that's why these nitwits ranked it so low. All that said... It's easily 2 or tied for 1. Giants Eagles has to be 1
The entire NFC East is a real rivalry
True!!!!
No more than the rivalries between the teams in every other division.
@@rluellam True!!!
3 Super Bowl Winners in a Row from NFC East: Giants, Redskins & Cowboys twice!!
Yep.
Colts-Patriots isn't a rivalry. It was a Manning-Brady rivalry. How do I know? When Peyton decamped to Denver the must-see TV became Broncos-Patriots games.
Couldnt agree more
Absolutely true
No. After the Colts started Deflategate, this rivalry will never die. Whenever the Baby Horses are on our schedule, I want them destroyed.
@@jackcarraway4707 you mean after Brady cheated?
True!!!
THE NFC EAST VS EACH OTHER
YES
Yes! The AFC North rivalries are good but not that good.
Basically
Benny Hill as a Giants fan hell yeah
Absolutely - I'm not even an active 'Skins fan anymore but I will always *loathe* the Eagles, Giants, and Cowboys.
I feel like the entire NFC East is the biggest rivalry in the league. Not even a fan of any NFCE team, just pointing out the obvious.
Cornflack I think we'll leave the bragging rights to the players this upcoming season in the NFL ...
It is true, im fan of a team in the nfc east and i hate the other 3
Cornflack ya they all fight for who gets the division at 8-8
Cowboys vs Redskins should be on the list
@@kakluver exactly. How the hell Browns vs Bengals even a rivalry and make it on this list??
Living through the Niners vs Cowboys in the 90’s was intense. They were always the 2 best teams in football and on a collision course each year. I loved the niners so much it made me genuinely sick to lose to the cowboys. It’s gotta be higher than 10
As a Cowboys fan I agree with you. I remember “The Catch” as a kid and I never wanted the cowboys to lose to the niners. Those late 80s early 90s back and forth between those two made some epic football.
True!!!
Should be top 3.
I believe a rivalry should stand the bad times.
Even in those years when your team sucks the enmity should ignite the teams.
In this case there were matches that rocked the whole league (the 70s, 80s AND the 90s)
But after those years, Many times you didnt even care to change the channel to watch them.
It's 💯 better than the colts and patriots. Can't believe that was higher than the Cowboys and 49ers.
I can't call Jets vs Patriots a good rivalry because it's incredibly one sided.
And I'm grateful for that! GO PATS!!!
I mean back when we had players like Mark Sanchez and Darelle Revis we eliminated the pats. Definitely was a real rivalry.
But it's pure hate‼️
@@Marcello2005 you won twice over us. We dominated your ass and still do! Get a clue!
@@Jondsmusic ok doesn’t mean that it was never a good rivalry
Steelers/Ravens and Bears/Packers should be much higher
well when i started watch the nfl it was late 90s. ravens and steelers were my favorite rivalry. but i could understand for older people, that watched the nfl in 60s or 70s... there were so many bloodbaths like raiders-chiefs, or redskins-cowboys.... but the bears-packers, sorry, no.7 ?? problem mostly was both team peaked at the wrong time. the packers were great in the 60s but the bears were terrible at that time. in the 80s, the bears were great, but the pack was horrible. ... just bad timing. but in the late 90s then 00s, yeah that was great, both teams were great.
We were horrible in the late 90's🤣🤣🤣 packers ran the division tf you talking about
@@ogskywalker5669 he lost me at in the 90s ravens steelers were a great rivalry
I agree, most of the others are not even rivalries anymore. 49ers - Cowboys Steelers - Cowboys. That happens to Non Divisional Rivalries over time.
Current lists should have more current events.. the best of the 50s had their chance in the 60s and 70s lol
You listed the Cowboys 3 times and yet their biggest rival historically is the Redskins.
That's right, I forgot about that one.
Prob cause post 90s they dident have a rivalry but u could so say that for any of them
The rivalry started even before the Cowgirls existed.
The Redskins owner opposed a team in Dallas, but the Cowboys owner obtained the rights to the Redskins Fight Song & threatened to not let them play it at games
George Preston Marshall caved
You are spot on , but you know the list is a joke when they put the bears and packers at #7.
David Childers fr I ain’t even hear of the Steelers cowboys rivalry
They were dismissing the Ravens Steelers rivalry then as being too new, but even after this episode came out you had some great steelers/ravens moments that kept the fire burning blue it felt like. First thing that comes to mind was Tomlin stopping a potential big play from happening by having his foot inbounds. The immediate reaction by the football populace that resides in Maryland was much stronger then anywhere else. I'm curious if it stands the test of time. That era of football certainly did.
All comes down to if Kenny and Lamar can both play at a high level simultaneously
I realized after this video, cowboys have rivalries with their whole division. And the biggest one, Cowboys Redskins, wasn't even listed!
EXACTLY
@@allendula It was talked about in a Best of the Rest segment when this aired on TV, they streamlined this episode for YT, hence why you didnt hear about it in this vid

Right I was looking for Cowboys and Redskins
This is sad to see that Raiders and Chiefs are not on this list. The hatred between those two teams is deep.
It's not sad, it's a damn travesty.
You’re right about that, it should have been on the List!!!!
Yes absolutely
Yeah, clearly whoever made this video is not a Chiefs fan 😂 that's the rivalry I've grown up with, and it's very real to this day.
@@Frosty_tha_Snowmanbro just seeing as a Texan fan, you can feel the hate when it comes to the raiders chiefs
No Chiefs vs Raiders. And I'm a Chiefs fan so that was the first rivalry I was looking for.
@KC RoNiN u right I always used to hear about the chiefs and Broncos rivalry
,
They missed so maanny and got so many wrong, like this list is literally false
I'm not a fan of Raiders or Chiefs and this was the first rivalry I was looking for
Raiders fan and I was expecting it to be #2 behind the bears and packers
There's no better rivalry than the Ravens/Steelers, especially in the 2000's.
Hard hitting, knock down, drag out fights the lot of 'em. Ravens and Steelers swapping back and forth with the #1 and #2 defenses (Steelers usually at #1), just classic after classic. No contest, #1.
lmfao
Chiefs vs. Raiders has to be in the top five. Leaving that matchup out of a top 10 shows the lingering hatred the NFL still has for the AFL. The only all-AFL matchup included was Patriots vs. Jets, which was spurious in how high it was ranked. The Chiefs-Raiders matchup not only includes that genuine hatred that marks a good rivalry but they have been in the same division since 1960. For me, it's a compelling rivalry if I really want to watch it even though neither team is my favorite team.
You’re right about that!!!!
The Raiders/Steelers rivalry in the 1970's epitomized what the NFL used to be and it was great.
True!!!!
Bears/Packers #7? What a JOKE! The two oldest rivals in the league. Number 1 without question.
Pat Doyle and their argument about relevancy is idiotic. 2010s: 2010 NFC Championship game, 2013 NFC North title game week 17, 2015 Bears spoil Brett Favre’s jersey retirement game on Thanksgiving, 2016 really close nail biter in Lambeau, and 2018 week 1 Rodgers comeback.
I agree. If the argument about relevancy is used against theirs how in the world does Cleveland-Cincy top them?
TheAnimationLads Lol I’m a packer fan and Vikings are our biggest rival by a mile
@@ethanleicester1199 As a Vikings Fan I completely agree that the Packers care more about the Vikes than the Bears
Cameron Wessels Maybe they should start caring more about first place...in this case the bears
One rival that is been going since the AFL league began and one of the very tough games played ...... the Chiefs, Raider game . They’ve been meeting up each year (twice and a lot of play-off), 2021-1960.
My grandma has been around since the merger and said Chiefs Raiders is the biggest rivalry she’s seen
True!!!
“This rivalry goes all the way back to 2009”
PIT and BAL actually had a playoff game in 2001-02 with Cowher/Billick
To me, this rivalry goes back to when Rod Woodson signed with the Ravens in 1998. That's what started the rivalry because he and Shannon Sharpe changed the culture in Baltimore, not to mention the rivalry between the Modells and the Rooneys had been around since the 1960s. Combine all of that with some of head to head battles in terms of players and coaches, and it equals a rivalry that has been the best in the NFL for the last 20 years.
That's a heated hate-filled rivalry...I don't know what these guys are talking about
In My Mind The Raiders Chiefs Rivalry and The Raiders Broncos Rivalry Should Had Been on This List Does Anyone Agree About That?
Lol I just said that raiders Broncos man those were some pretty heavy games in the past
Vince Niederman it's all 3 of them! Chiefs/Raiders Chiefs/Broncos Broncos/Raiders
As someone who was born and raised In Colorado I was taught 2 things. Our air is better and if you don't hate the raiders its a fight
T Lujan lol
Yea you could pretty much do the entire AFC West, all 4 teams are original AFL members, they go back 60 years.
The whole Afc North is just a battle ground. Especially when cleveland starts to pickup. That division will be complete craziness
NDSD 1 The Browns like to shoot themselves in the foot

It's called Ravens/Steelers now.
Steelers are bigger rivals to the Browns than the Bengals are
@@bahaha111 It has to do with Cleveland. The Ravens are in Baltimore so less meaning. Show up to Cleveland for the Steelers game in a couple weeks and observe what happens.
Poor Browns...😢
Hearing them just disregard the Yankees and Red Sox rivalries by saying “Oh this is just beyond the most storied in sports” is quite hilarious and shows the lack of understanding of any other sport
Ravens/Steelers is the most intense rivalry bc they’re two defensive juggernauts. Two of the most physical franchises to ever exist
but its also the youngest u gotta respect that ofc its good but its jsut their for 20 years
Remember the Ravens are the original Cleveland Brown franchise so it's actually much older than 20 years.

The Patriots and Colts were only a rivalry because of Brady and Manning

Come on of the first three out of four super bowl AFC teams were the Chiefs or the Raiders. When they get together it doesn't matter if one team is statistically better than the other it's always a dogfight. Last year the Raiders were one of the only two teams to beat the Chiefs. The story of Marcus Allen shows the extent of the rivalry.
I feel like the afc west (which the NFL ignores for some reason) have good rivalry all around, but when they play each other, no matter who, from chargers v raiders to broncos v chiefs etc etc. its always a close game no matter what the teams records are
Baltimore vs New England is an underrated playoff rivalry. Baltimore vs Pittsburgh has without a doubt been the best rivalry since 96 though. Who else has produced more epic hard hitting games consistently?
Browns / Broncos of the 80s
Ed Reid's hospital hits until league changed the hitting rules. Was only teen then but would watch those 2 play over my own team as my team then stunk
100% agree. It's always an all-day heartrace for me for those games, even before the game starts just in anticipation.
Pittsburgh v Baltimore is the 2nd most entertaining rivalry. 1st is probably the 9rs and the cowboys
Steelers and bengals have been good recently

One interesting thing about the Raiders Steelers rivalry: Ben Roethlisberger has not won IN Oakland. He has played there four times (2006, 2012, 2013, and 2018) and has not won.
Steelers Ravens is number 1. No other rivalry comes close to the intensity, the storylines, the memorable moments, the hatred/respect. And most of all, these teams are always so close (record/talent/place in the standings).
WHAT BEARS PACKERS IS SEVEN?!?! I’m a eagles fan and that is simply ridiculous. Even there games these days are tough grind out games

Kyle Adrien even tho that is more or less true, there are still big games almost every year, 2010s alone: NFC Championship 2010, NFC North Title game 2013, Bears spoil Brett Favre’s Retirement game on Thanksgiving in 2015, the amazing nail biter in Lambeau in 2016, Rodgers comeback in week 1 Of this season (2018)
Bills vs Dolphins was a great rivalry in the 90's. Kelly vs Marino was awesome to watch.

growing up in Charm City I've always loved those Ravens vs Steelers games even tho I don't like the Steelers I respect the hell out of a lot of they're players
Denver/Cleveland: They met in the AFC championship 3 times in 4 years which resulted in "The Drive" and "The Fumble". Don't think Browns fans have forgotten.
Diehard Broncos fan here. Iconic games, yes, but there wasn’t much to it besides those two. Still better than Browns Bengals though
We said “rivalries”, not “bug on the windshield series’” lmao
I also think a rivalry has to be teams that play every year.
Those are iconic games, but the Browns are nowhere near being considered a rival to the Broncos.
How is Bears vs Packers not placed number 1??

Eagles and Giants is far from number one. These idiots put Browns and Bengals as a top notch rivalry. LOL
Steelers Ravens is better
How was the Bengals browns higher than the ravens Steelers rivalry

I need to reorder this
Bears-Packers at 7 is sheer disrespect. That's the NFLs best rivalry. Unquestionably
James Bock no in today’s era but history yes best one nowadays is Ravens/Steelers period
I still have Bears Packers at 1 but I agree Ravens Steelers is a close 2nd
Josh Allen there have been some good games between them recently
this rivalry created the nfl; utter disrespect to both franchises
Yeah they say it's because they haven't played meaningful games in awhile. Yet they list Dallas vs Pitt! When's the last time those teams played a game that mattered? Truth is that GB is on so many of these greatest lists the NFL network was probably trying to appease some east coast whiners.

You don’t know what to expect from Eagles Fans, period!!!!
Come on this list is worthless with no Redskins Cowboys in it.
Actually all the NFC East matchups should be on the list. They just hate loosing to each other.
Thank you! I watch the "We Want Dallas" clip from the 82 Redskins America's Game at least once a week for inspiration. It's one of the nastiest rivalries in the NFL...and I despise BOTH teams, and yet I know just how nasty that rivalry is. Very poor list.
I’d say the redskins or the least hated and worried about in the nfc east
Jake Rosner because redskins are always the underdogs, even when they are winning. it's how we always make history
Jake Rosner you are wrong pal they are the most hated behind the cowboys and I’m not lying about that
yeah, cuz screw the cowboys, redskins till death
Four rivalries that didn't make the list
1 Falcons Saints
2 Rams 49ers
3 Raiders Chiefs
4 Redskins Cowboys
1 and 3 both should have been on the list
cowboys and redskins is overrated
The Cowboys Redskins rivalry isn't overrated look this rivalry was big in the late 1970s thanks to Tom Laundry and George Allen then in the 1980s with Joe Gibbs coaching the Redskins and his team played in 3 Superbowls in 1980s winning 2 and they meetings was the late game on CBS with a 4:00pm kickoff and met on Monday night football on ABC either at RFK Stadium in Washington DC or Texas Stadium in Irving Texas
but what have they done since 1990's
Washington won one Superbowl in 1991 while Dallas became the team of the 1990s winning 3 Super Bowls in 4 years it a big deal to their fans
Redskins and 49ers is an underrated rivalry
The Giants and Eagles have had some memorable games with each other, 1978 2010 the 2 Miracles at the Meadowlands
Tbh I’d say 3 with the 61 yard field goal or even 4 when they came back from 3-20 I believe it was in the 4th and won it in overtime
Raiders vs chiefs ? Come on NFL
Akmal for sure the NFL will say "that's a rivalry since American Football League days"..
NFL vs Raiders too be honest. Now so much in 2000's but every decade prior.
raiders vs all the afc west teams
Raiders vs Broncos is way more relevant

Chiefs vs Raiders is something I've seen all my life - it's very real to this day.
The Steelers-Cowboys rivalry was just a Super Bowl rivalry
How can you not have Chiefs-Raiders on this list?

I remember watching the highlights of the Immaculate Reception after the game, there were better camera angles than the two they keep showing. The highlight reels show the entire ball, the NFL has retracted those highlights maybe to keep the the lore of the play alive! But if you watch the highlights that show the entire field YOU can judge if Franco caught the ball or not! The play could go either way once you see the unedited highlight.
I've seen them. It bounced off Tatum's shoulder pads and Franco caught it before it hit the ground. Touchdown.
bears v packers gotta be higher
Bears - Packers should be higher than Browns - Bengals and Jets - Patriots.

The bears-packers rivalry should be #1. They are literally the only teams in the NFL that determine the success of their season based on if they win or lose to each other. If the Bears went 2-14 with both wins against the Packers, that would be successful season. And the same is true Vice-versa.
No Broncos Raiders and definitely no Dallas Redskins..
This top 10 is a farce
LIE/11 NanoThermite
What?! Cowboys and Redskins is a big one man. Fans of both would for sure say so.
Aldo the Apache he's saying the video sucks because they didn't include Cowboys Redskins and Broncos Raiders rivalries in the video.
AND THEY PLACED PACKERS-BEARS RIVALRY UNDER THE BATTLE OF OHIO, THAT IS DISGRACEFUL. AND NO EAGLES-BEARS????
Raiders havent been good in decades, cant have a one sided rivalry
No Cowboys-Redskins, Raiders-Chiefs. Wow
As a Chicago Bears fan, I call "Bull-crap!..." on what we saw at 9:25-9:31, personally.
The Green Bay Packers/Chicago Bears rivalry should be higher on this list, in my opinion.
You’re right about that!!!!
That rivalry dates back to the infancy of pro football and has kept its intensity - the only older one is Bears v Cardinals (day one of the NFL), though this has dropped off to a large extent since the Cards moved to St. Louis in 1960 (and to Arizona in 1988).
@@adamdorgant9454- Thank you for agreeing with me.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one out there who feels that way...
@@MRB16th- Thanks for the memory refresher/history lesson.
I take it that you agree with my comment, then?...
@@tthomaselli2 Yes, I agree with it.
I miss those games when my boy Brady went up against the colts man them were the days
The Chiefs-Raiders and Cowboys-Redskins rivalry should have made the list
More like Raiders vs the whole AFC West
True about the Chiefs-Raiders. But the Cowboys were already listed 3 times. And frankly, the 49ers are clearly the greatest of all those Cowboy foe listings.
@timmybmn Same growing up in DC. I haven't lived there in years, but still tell people I won't even fly over Texas because Dallas is in it... and I mean that...
Wow I've only looked at the first 3, 2 of which were wrong and bad, so can't believe if they didn't have cowboys-redskins, yet had cowboys-eagles lol. And Pats-Colts should NOT be on this list too......
Eddie LM I remember one of the greatest memories for Broncos fans was when they got to their first super bowl with their Orange Crush defense and beat the Raiders in the AFC championship game to get there.
Raiders vs Steelers was the greatest rivalry ever! Both teams were great and met in the playoffs five straight years in the 70s.
As a raiders fan the steelers army even our biggest rivals. That would be Kansas City
This episode needs expansion and updating. Cowboys vs. Niners has become a playoff rivalry 2021-22. Ravens vs Steelers stayed contenders well after this episode
31:30 : The best Play I have ever seen 🤣🤣
God I feel old... The 2010 bears and Packers game is almost a decade and I still remember BJ Rajis pick 6
Don't feel bad, I thought after Dallas lost Superbowl 5 to the Colts, I'd NEVER be happy again. But they trounced Miami the next yr. I've seen all the SBs btw. So you're not that old yet.
Feels like yesterday bro...
The Old AFC Central was a bloodbath. The fact that this division is gone now makes it quite underrated to me. Steelers & Ravens had fierce and physical rivalries with the Titans and Jaguars (you know, when they were actually good with Mark Brunell and Fred Taylor). It was a four way melee in that division and it was glorious to see. All four teams just hated each other equally as much as the other, and it was nasty.
I remembered the old AFC Central. In only its second year in existence, I remembered watching a Jaguars team manhandle a very good Pittsburgh Steelers team. And my reaction - Was that an expansion team? That old AFC Central division was straight up nasty. It still seems as if whenever the Steelers, Jags & Titans still play against each other, there is still that feel of the old AFC Central.
Omg! Chuck Noll v Jerry Glanville, or Sam Wyche v Jerry Glanville, that division was just a powder keg, and it made for some violent games, typically at the expense of the oilers
Some of the best football ever played! i think the Steelers v ravens was so good was because of the best players at each opposite position made it great.
However i think the most devastating football played of late has been Steelers v Bengals.
that Juju hit on Berfect.....poetry
For the Packers-Bears rivalry, they've also got the 2 oldest stadiums in NFL history, Soldier Field and Lambeau Field
Buddy funny af he said I recent that I’ve been on a diet and lost a few pounds now I see where Rex gets it from 😂😂😂😂😂
Steelers-Raiders... 5 straight years of meeting in the playoffs.
Blood baths that makes the NFL look like a pansy league today.
The NFL IS a pansy league today. It's grotesque, what the morons have done to the league in the past 25 years.
When people talk about the Immaculate Reception they mention Harris catching the ball, or debate whether it hit Fuqua, but what they don't mention so much is that it looks like Tatum killed Fuqua.
Wait a minute, how can you miss the Cowboys vs Redskins? That has always been considered the most heated rivalry. It even goes back to the 1960s when the Cowboys owner purchased the rights to the Redskin’s fight song, a song they had been using since the 1930s.
No other rivalry on this list is so important to the league, because it makes lots of money for TV rights, that when they restructured the divisions to finally put teams in the proper division for their region, Dallas is the only team that was left in the wrong division, just so they could still play the Redskins, Giants and Eagles twice per season.
Dallas belongs in the Southern division, not the Eastern. I don’t know how Dallas ever ended up in the East since the 1960s, but a lot of team were in the wrong division until they restructured the league and put every team in the right division, except Dallas, who remains in the wrong division. Even the league admits Dallas was left in the East because of the great rivalries and the most heated rivalry has historically been with the Redskins.
Everyone who watches football knows this. How can you get it wrong? Cincinnati and Cleveland is a bigger rivalry than Dallas Washington? Who is the ass-clown who made this list?
Wolverine Smith Exactly 👍👍👍
Dallas and Philadelphia is probably bigger now
Baltimore and Steelers more gruesome
Everyone knows the history, and throughout the 1970s, Dallas v Washington was undoubtedly THE hottest ticket in the NFL.
But, can you think of a genuinely important and entertaining game between the two teams since the turn of the millennium? When you watch the fixture these days, do you really sense any great passion between the two sides, anything that even remotely resembles the hostility of the Staubach/Theismann era?
I don't. And despite the personal animosity between Clint Murchison Jr and George Preston-Marshall over the fight song, the truth was that there was little feeling between the two sets of players through the 1960s either.
The rivalry, in short, was only really a huge deal in the 1970s (thanks chiefly to George Allen) and, more intermittently, the 1980s. It's been a dead rivalry since the collapse of Mark Rypien's Washington side in the mid-90s, and I don't think people even particularly look out for the game when the fixtures are published anymore.
Both teams tend to hate the Eagles more nowadays, and I would accept that a 15-year rivalry from decades ago is no longer enough for the top 10.
(Having said all that, I can't for the life of me understand why Dallas v Pittsburgh and Cleveland v Cincinnati are in this list. The big days of those fixtures are both ANCIENT history.)
I like the 3 way rivalry of Cowboys vs 49ers vs Packers
NFC Powerhouses with a lot of playoff games
Especially in the 90s.
It's more of fan rivalries than the teams. Lol cause the players bounce around so much they're rarely loyal to their teams. And I feel like 90% of players don't even play for their favorite team that they grew up loving. Now college football is the real rivalries 😂
You listed the Cowboys three separate times but didn't list 'Saints vs Falcons' once?
Allan Stott True I think they should take off Steelers vs Cowboys and put Saints vs Falcons
The New Orleans Aints vs the Atlanta Chickens?
Saints-Falcons has been a rivalry since both teams' inceptions (which were a year apart) in the 1960s. They have ALWAYS played in the same division. It parallels the real-life rivalry that exists between the cities of Atlanta and New Orleans over superiority in the South/being the Crown Jewel of the South that has existed since the 1800s. The two cities have feuded for economic dominance since their founding. We see their feud spill into other areas too, like competing for hip-hop credibility or film industry opportunities. Furthermore, Saints-Falcons games have been historically entertaining, even when both teams sucked otherwise. Each fanbase travels to the games well, considering the cities are only a 7 hour drive apart. The all-time record for the matchup is 52-46, in favor of the Falcons. The rivalry has been particularly contentious since 2000, with New Orleans winning 5 division titles in that span to Atlanta's 4. Each team has won the NFC once since then as well, with New Orleans of course winning the sole Super Bowl Championship between the two teams in 2009. All this to say, yes, Saints-Falcons IS a particularly contentious, entertaining, and fierce rivalry that exists in the NFL, and has for a long time. Tune in to, or better yet ATTEND, any Saints-Falcons matchup, and I am sure your perception of the rivalry will change.
Kam as a saints fan I’ll literally beat tf out of a falcons fan and feel like I did humanity a favor
From Black Sunday and "Big Ben" in the 70s, to Deion embarrassing us in that playoff game in 1991, to the Domecoming in 2006 and Drew breaking Marino's record on MNF in 2011, there have been a lot of fantastic, historical, entertaining games between the two teams. It's a really great rivalry, and it's a shame the rest of the country and national media don't give it more credence. Saints-Falcons is the largest/most prominent example of a "Southern Grudge Match" football game. It's essentially an SEC rivalry played by professionals, but the hatred and disdain between the cities and fanbases is very reminiscent of high school and college rivalries that exist throughout the South.
Kid: "Why are the Browns bad all the time?"
Me: "It starts in 1972 with the Immaculate Reception..."
Kid: " How does it start there?"
Me: We get there when we get there!
Browns vs Bengals rivalry storyline is very entertaining.
29:42 George Atkinson calling out Lynn Swann😂😂😂
"Lynn Swann; Soft." LMFAO
The greatest big game "soft" receiver I've ever seen. Cheap shot artists Skip Thomas, George Atkinson and Jack Tatum were basically playing bounty ball against Swann.
@@UncleClaudeSportsandThangs Soft!
I'm surprised they didn't mention when Buddy Ryan ran up the score on the Cowboys after they broke the players strike
This whole list could basically be all of my Cowboys rivalry’s
If we're talking about pure physical intensity, here is my list:
-Pittsburgh-Any AFC North Team
-Any NFC East Rivalry
-Bears-Packers
-Texans-Titans
-Pittsburgh-Oakland
-Seahawks-49ers (2011-2014)
-Panthers-Bucs (2003-2009)
-49ers-Cowboys (80's/90's)
-Oakland-Any AFC West Team
It doesn't get much better than the 1970's Steelers-Raiders rivalry.
Steel curtain was not likeable. I don't blame them.
Chiefs vs raiders was better and it didn't even make the list.
They took each other to court after the 1976 AFC championship game
