We are walking the Via Podiensis this year and we can't wait to see the "beginning" of the Camino Frances.

My sister and I in our 60s walked Pondiensis. The first two weeks were breath taking. Then we continued to walk for a total of 70 days to Santiago. The final days were a goal, but not the most beautiful days of our waslk. I hope you give that one a try. Keep inspiring.

I totally agree, the primitivo is the best camino that I've walked, even the bit after Melide

Hey Richard, It's Sarah here from Theros Adventures. Really enjoyed this video. Yey you escaped the church building! Good on ya. I escaped mainstream church a long time ago...Happy to see you on mission out in the wild. .Really enjoyed this video. Have to challenge you on your opinion regarding the Caminho Portugues though, sorry. We walked it all the way from Lisbon via Porto and the coastal route in 2016 and loved it. Although challenging from Lisbon, the trail was not that bad at all and there are some beautiful sections and a warm welcome along the way! So give it a go and apparently you can walk the new coastal route all the way from Lisbon, so I have heard.. We will try that route too in the not too distant future. I've walked the Camino Frances twice, the Portugues once, Camino Finisterre once and Camino del Norte once. For me out of those four I would have to say el Camino del Norte is the best and most stunning. Brett and I walked it in 2022 and we definitely will walk it again. Perhaps, next time we will turn off at San Vicente de la Barquera, pop up the Camino Lebeñego and then turn off on the Camino Primitivo. .....as you have ranked this as numero uno. We shall see! Also the Camino Maltès is on our list for 2025 by sea and on foot. We shall see.... Keep up the great work on the vids. Perhaps we shall meet you somewhere.... on the Camino for a nice cold cerveza. Cheers, Sarah and Brett

Great video, i have walked all these caminos ans agree with your list! I also walked from Le Puy en Velay on the Podiensis and it has probably been my favourite so far but of course finishes in Roncesvellas.
